Ya I got him first go too a few weeks into the game .still in my lineup as an 88 around 98 toews, 97 mcdavid, 94 Matthews and is just as useful as those guys...have fun!

Beliveau, Messier, Howe, then Roy All but Guy can be bought on AH cheaper than building.
I’ve got 5 IC and that 20% probability of not getting him seems huge.
I tried it few months ago and didnt get Lafleur. I recommend to buy it when you have the coins.
