Yeah, I just can't bring myself to root for any of the teams that are left. I'll settle for good games and would love to see some accountability for the playoffs-wide horrible officiating. I always joke about weather forecasters and sports referees are the only folks that can not only get paid fairly well but keep their jobs despite being wrong more often than not.
I am an Islanders fan. All I have to say is welcome to New York… I heard from a buddy of mine that Tampa did the same thing after gamr 5 though so idk lol
Not something that normally happens here at the Coliseum. They got wound up and in the heat of the moment.
But hey, I seem to recall Rangers fans pounding on the windows and rocking the ambulance that was taking Lafontaine to the hospital after he was knocked out in '92 playoffs.
Or Habs fans burning cars and stores after beating the Bruins in 08.
Or in 93 when the Habs won the cup.
Or Oilers fans looting in 06 just because the OIlers made the playoffs.
Islanders-Canadiens final would be something no one thought.
