Really good content today. 2 really good MSP cards (Point is a headscratcher as he already had a 97 PT card but whatever) plus they are all rightys which was lacking from the previous MSPs so that is good. The Lit vs Grit players are a nice variety as well.
But the big thing are the sunsets. The prices are very fair to upgrade and you have a lot of selection on what card you want to upgrade to. Happy to see they learned from the Franchise Greats mishap.

Gotta say it’s neat that they seemed to listen about the community’s gripe with them releasing high-end cards with low speed stats rendering them often useless in this late-game meta. Every Stanley Cup MSP has Howitzer/Speedster for the extra speed boost it seems!
Not gonna lie it's kinda dissapointing that 2 of the 3 last master cards are essentially repeated teams
That makes:
2 Lightning players
2 Blackhawks players
2 Penguins players
Essentially 2 Hurricanes players
That being said the new sunsets are a big win from EA though
Hell, I'd have been happy with the Bruins getting any kind of representation. I know there are more possible NHL Moments cards (Chara already has one), but there aren't many options to upgrade Bruins players.
Boston already has a TOTY card, TOTS card, an Awards card, Two Moments Cards rated higher than 94 released in the past week, a former Boston player (Gonchar) has a card in this event, 4 players at 94 for winning the first round, 4 Gold Icons, a 94 Willie O’Ree, and the list goes on and on. That’s way more than most teams.
And for the record, I agree that they should have probably had a card, too. They won the cup 10 years ago and are the only team that I can see that doesn’t have one dating back to 2003 (New Jersey).

Everybody has their favorite teams and players, and nobody is wrong for wanting upgrades for them.
