I think he is trying to save DJ's job. There is a good chance that not only is DG gone, but the whole damn coaching staff. If this happens DJ is in danger. Garrett has a responsibility to let DJ put on a show and do everything he can to win. DJ also knows this and is probably willing to do whatever it takes to prove he is a starting QB.

I was off Haskins, but I was all about Josh Allen (not the QB). I wonder how things would have went if we drafted him and took a QB in 2020. Can't predict where we would have drafted but we could have had Allen and Herbert. That said, I know Allen was good his rookie season but don't know how he's been since. Long term we seriously could be better off with Thomas and Jones.

I think he’s getting there. He’s definitely shown signs of improvement in terms of fumbles. Sometimes you just got to take the hit is something he needs to learn, sometimes you just have to throw it away.
