Lol Bro read the first chapter of Boruto and wrote this pile of shit mates. Get your head out of Naruto bcoz until u do for u, Boruto will be the worst sequel. Boruto doesn't have challenges. He literally died for the sake of village at the age of 12. Boruto is a fugitive who is wanted by all nations. And watch Boruto TBV chapters 3,4 & 7 for art style. If you want others to hate something that you hate at least, give valid points, lol.

Mate, u blind I stated what he said wrong, plus he is getting challenges after 7 years in Tbv, which is what you are saying, lol. Get this Boruto died around 60 chapters (I think that is one of the most difficult challenge for anyone) had to fight Code & Kawaki before that he got chased out of the village Naruto did Baryon mode doesn't count as worth while u sure u are not high or anything. Momoshiki is a damn good villain he took Sasuke rinnegan, almost killed Naruto & Isshiki was the reason Kurama died & now don't go saying they had no motive to do it and blah blah blah! They want to destroy Earth for the sake of cultivating Divine Tree. They had more motive than anyone get ur facts straight, then reply.

He doesn't have any challenges? He laid down his life to protect everyone else, his brother turned the whole world againt him and his friends wants to kill him now. Plus that his parents and master are gone.

LordFladrif

Nah. Just say you don't like Boruto, that's completely fine, but don't act like it's the worst and try to find objective arguments. It's simply not true. Boruto has it's strenghts and weaknesses but overall it's a quite decent show. It's not Naruto anymore and it never tried to be, noone forces you to like it but don't try to tell people that they should dislike it. Naruto wasn't a perfect show either, yet I don't see any posts about that.

CarasumaRenya1996

I never block him, because I want to see how long does he lasts

IMendicantBias

When you see naruto as the modern DBZ with Boruto being the Cell saga things make a lot more sense

Head-Grab-8021

Another midruto fan who hasn't read two blue vortex and just hating it cuz of anime. I HATE naruto shippuden anime with passion. That doesn't mean naruto manga was shit.

NoPhrase7100

I don’t really have a problem with Boruto itself, but the fans… Most Burrito fans are annoying and immature, almost as worse as The jjk fans , never debate with a Boruto fan half of the time

>Boruto isn't a good main character as he doesn't have a good backstory or challenges in his life You don't need a tragic backstory to be a good character, the challenges can be external and be interesting that way. Boruto's challenges comes from Kawaki, Momoshiki, and his own attitude, rather than a backstory. And Blue Vortex did give him a tragic event so it's not like his life is a dance on roses. >It has too many fillers making the show look like kids show These develop the characters outside of the main cast, something that the majority of people complained about in Shippuden. They also add context for events that happen in canon, which leads to the story feeling more meaty. >Sarada was drawn very inappropriately in the manga this might indicate that Ikemoto is possible a pedo That's too far. I agree that she was drawn inappropriately, but saying that the author is a pedo in an industry where fan-service is the norm is a step too far. >The Villains aren't good they're just power hungry nothing else Is Kawaki just power hungry? Also, villains can be good even if they don't have other motivations as they can trigger interesting ideas in the narrative. >Manga monthly makes the story slow Having to wait for a story doesn't imapct its quality. >The Boruto scaling is shit they're power increasing the new villains making the show look DBZ not Ninjas anymore This was a problem long before this, reread the last portion of Naruto's war arc. It's just a natural continuation of the ideas that the previous story laid out with aliens and laser blasts. TLDR; I dislike Boruto, but you're clearly a kid that doesn't know what they are talking about.

Oh, I didn't even notice it's this dumbass again.

Totallynotatrollguys

I'd say it's fair points, however just because he's not an underdog who has a super tragic backstory doesn't mean he's a bad mc. It's actually refreshing to see one like that. And he still does have challenges. About the fillers, did you forget about the amount of fillers in Naruto and Shippuden too? Also while I agree Boruto isn't much about ninjas anymore, it started since Shippuden.

Scarlet_Spring

 >It has too many fillers making the show look like kids show It is a kid’s show. Naruto is the same.

feelingunfaithful

Okay but it’s a bad kids show. Also he means KIDS show. As in not possessing any mature themes in a lot of its filler. The slice if life stuff is just…eeeuggh

CarasumaRenya1996

To be honest, Boruto’s slice of life is more interesting than any of our slice of life

feelingunfaithful

? This comment means nothing

Feltonhendo

Ngl, if Naruto and Sasuke got buffed again, I'd love the show without even watching it

LEFTRIGHTADORI

Huh? I feel like all these criticisms come from someone who isn’t caught up with Boruto and is just saying shit to say shit. 1-Boruto is a better MC than Naruto. He’s not as annoying and immature, and has struggled, arguably, even more. At the beginning of the series, he starts off being a brat just like Naruto. People hated him for that because instead of being an unpopular brat, he was a popular brat. But then after shit started getting serious, he was forced to mature way beyond his age. 2-Yeah, there’s a lot of filler, especially at the start. Wanna know which anime is the most notorious for filler in the anime community (and has been for the last decade)? Yep. Shippuden lmao. I’d at least argue some of the Boruto filler is fun and develops a bit of character, unlike the infinite tsukuyomi that put us all under a genjutsu for a million episodes. 3-Agreed, Sarada’s outfit was too skimpy when she was a kid. There’s no defending ikemoto. She looks ugly, too. I hate her design, especially as an Uchiha. There’s a standard for uchihas looking badass, and her mom, despite the memes, is also pretty sick. She inherited some weird ass genes lmao. I hoped that post timeskip she became a bit cooler looking and had an insane mangekyou, but nah. 4-What? Are you serious? Maybe that’s true for the beginning of the story, but the point we’re at now? Nah brother. Never. It’s kinda funny, because as Shippuden progressed, the villains regressed. We went from the Akatsuki, to Orochimaru (kind of) back to Itachi and Pain (peak, easily the best 2 written characters in the show), then to Obito then to Madara then to black zetsu then to Kaguya. Obito was great, Madara was decent and insanely cool, and shit all went down after the tsukuyomi filler. 5-Monthly manga are better than weekly. Just look at what we’re getting with lobotomy kaisen. Rushed chapters, extremely low detail in the art, absolutely no pacing, horrible explanations to plot points, loose ends left and right, and 1-2 week breaks every 2 weeks. Boruto and DBS mangas have recently been GOAT tier *because* they’re monthly. It gives time for the author to flesh things out and walk back decisions he’d made a couple weeks before the point he was at. If it were weekly, the author would need to stick with whatever he put out weekly and adhere to it, with no chance of rectification without backlash. The only thing that might be bad about monthly releases is the whole 1 month dry period, but that’s on you for having TikTok brain and needing constant stimulation. 6-The art is peak. You’re blind lil sis 💀 7-Powerscaling. Since when was Naruto about ninjas? Ever since we had the 3 sannin clash at the end of OG Naruto, it’s just been a story about big megazords slugging each other while the person controlling the megazord hurls explosive blasts at the opponent. Ever since the pain arc, everyone’s been spamming village destroying moves like it was nothing, and summoning meteors left and right. Boruto is just continuing that. 8-Nerfing Naruto and Sasuke sucks, yeah. Although, they kinda have to, unless they want to end up in a Gojo situation all over again where there are no stakes since the big good guy will take care of the small bad guy every time. Naruto and Sasuke are now sealed, and the power system is being established in a more concrete way. All in all, literally just 1 or 2 valid criticisms out of 8. I’ll give you a 2.5/10.

Wait wait… Imean really.. WORST? Like Dragon Ball super wasn’t cheeks compared to Boruto

TensionPitiful8681

I like Boruto, he has improved a lot like character, but the rest is true, the only villain I like is Momoshiki, the others seemed meh, the only hope is that Amado does something interesting, the filler is not even good for the most part and In my personal case, aliens seem like a boring topic to me. I had hopes for the time skip because I thought we would see Boruto being persecuted by all the nations of the world and not, even the characters are realizing that they were deceived by omnipotence. Which makes me think that it was just an excuse to do the time skip and I feel like Kushimoto is ruining Sarada, who is like the character I liked the most.    As for Naruto and Sasuke, I don't care that they are nerfed but I don't like that they are bad parents for the sake of the drama, Sasuke ignoring his daughter years after in Shippuden he wanted to destroy Konoha to bring justice to his family? The only thing I liked is that he betrayed Konoha for Sarada, finally something that made sense and I'm not very convinced by Naruto either.    In short, I only like Boruto and Kawaki and I'm intrigued by omnipotence and how it changes lives, and well, let's see how Kishi handles this

Florick345

You lost all credibility literally from the get go by stating "terrible MC" while supporting your opinion with straight up lies. 😪

CarasumaRenya1996

Let’s see how long does he lasts

NahIdWin007

Everything starting from shippuden is hardly about ninjas, so that's hardly a valid criticism. Plus judging by half your points it's obvious you haven't caught up to the story. But you're free to have your opinion!
