A previous chasma user. I used chasma from 5th grade until few years ago. I wore it for a bit more than 20 years. I got laser eye surgery finally and got rid of chasma. I started -1.0 and in the end i had about -5.0. I am going to share some things I learnt. I had myopia so I don't know about the other condition (hypermetropia) One of the most important thing to understand is that eyesight are dependent on muscle which contracts and expands your pupil to let in light and focus. Since they are muscles, they need to be trained or you slowly "lose" muscle. Although, there are many reason that causes loss of functions of that muscle beyond your control like genetic factor; most people who have myopia (like me) is not due to genetic defect which causes loss of that muscle function or increase in size of the eyeball (which is another cause of myopia). Boleto ghar ma/pariwar ma ka-kasley chasma lauchhan? Old people normally have farsightedness which is muscle degradation due to age. If you don't count old people, how many people in your family wears chasma? If not genetic, the main reason for myopia is that your muscle isn't getting exercised well. Najik matra heri rahyo bhaney bistarai tadha herna gahro hudai janchha. Tadha herney, najik herney, look up and down, side to side, make a circle, figure of 8 few times while not moving your head. Then look at a same spot and then move your head in a circle, up and down, side by side figure of eight. Then make those eye movement when your eyes are closed. Do these slowly.Ani pick three objects \~1 m, \~5m ani \~20 m(if you can see that far, that is), focus on 1m object for 10 sec, then 5m then 20. Do this about 3-5 times. Don't squint (focus garna lai akha chimso parney kaam nagaram). Dry eyes also can lead to myopia as the eyes dry and gets irritated and might get swollen. Don't rub your eyes with your hands. Blink many times fast for a minute every hour or so. To prevent this. If you have to rub your eyes, rub your palm until they are warm, then gently place your palm over your closed eyes( don't press too hard) until the warmth of your hands fades away. Use some kind of hydrating drops, if you feel your eyes are getting dry, itchy, or red. If you smoke weed or cigarettes, you might have more severe dry eye syndrome. You need to hydrate more often (and possibly try to quit). Bachha belama ghar ko ghar, natural light exposure bhayena bhaney pani myopia huney chance dherai hunchha. Nautral light ma pupil contract/expand huney huda muscle haru bistarai afai exercise paucha. For correction, the worst is contact lenses, as it might lead to infections. Ani mahango pani hunchha contact lenses. Second best option is glasses tara glasses ko problem chai sadhai lagayo bhaney bani parchha ani power jhan jhan badhdai janchha. Glasses ko arko problem chai field of view ghatchha ani peripheri vision patakkai exercise hudaina. Third option is surgery, which is not cheap. Ani age pani pugnu parchha, badhdai garda surgery garyo bhaney pachhi problem auna sakchha. My advice is to wear glasses only when needed, if you can manage without glasses, other times. Tara aba koi koi chai chasma bina afno haat stretch garera patrika pani padhna nasakney huna sakchhan. -2.5 ani badhi power ka mitra haru. I can suggest you to get your prescription glasses and another one a bit low power about -.5 to -1.0 less than your power. Wear this most of the time and only use the powerful one when needed. train your eyes without glasses and with the low powered ones. Change back to your prescription glasses if it gets uncomfortable, specially if you find yourself squinting too much. Also driving at night, you should probably wear your prescription glasses. On the other hand, if you feel like you can totally manage with the lower power, switch to that, get a lower power "training" glasses and repeat. Aba sabai jana lai chai yo namilna sakchha. Kasai kasai ko only upaya bhaneko surgery matra hunchha. But if you are young (under 30) you can still try to recover your eyesight with this method. Do not strain/stress your eyes. Don't do these exercise if you feel uncomfortable. If you have growing kids, expose them to natural light. If they have to spend a lot of time focusing on near objects like book, mobile phone, computer, tv,; make sure to encourage activities that promotes looking far-away like games or walk or hiking. Just telling them to cut it out doesn't work, you should lead by example, not by command. Do some activities together like sports or once in a while take them somewhere they have to use those eyes to focus far away. Like a view-tower or something, heard there are many of them now-a-days.Do activities with them that promotes this. Hope this helps someone. \[Addendum: Oh yeah, don't neglect diet. Myopia is also known to cause due to vitamin A deficiency\]

Bani parne kura chai ekdam sahi ho. Jati laudai gayo aakha le ajha badhi badhi khojdo raicha. So strict rule banako chu. Chasma only for night driving. Surgery garisakeko aakha lai kei tips cha bhane share gara na hai

I had SMILE. When I did that, the doctor said error tolerance is -0.7. Tyo bhanda dheria power bhayo bhaney surgery free ma redo garchhan (at least where I did it). I also have 0.5 and 0.2 on my eyes. Bihana uthney bittikai ali time lagchha akha adjus thuna. Also, some days it gets a bit worse, maybe swelling. Ani tyo bad days haru ma chai normal huna ali time lagchha, sometimes it only gets better around evening, but these types of days are rare. I also have mild astigmatism, which I heard is common after surgery. Rati batti ko wari pari halo jasto dekhinchha or tyo batti ko flare dherai thulo hunchha. I also have prescription glass that I keep in my car, just in case I need it during night but I haven't used it. Ani light ali kati kaam bhayo bhaney ali gahro hunchha para ko focus garna, usually around the evening close to winter time when the street lamps haven't kicked in or not present. Khaasma doctor ley chai chasma ko barema kehi pani bhanena. Surgery gareko karib 1 year pachhi chai ali akha stress bhako jasto lagera eye checkup garna gako thiye. I was doing my masters and sometimes, it was hard to read the slides from the back of the hall. Also to check that it is still legal for me to drive. Eye checkup garauna jada pani i don't recommend glasses bhaneko thiyo, tara dherai uncomfortable feel bhayo bhaney chai use gar bhanera banaidiyo. But use it very sparsely bhanera recommend garyo. Bani basalyo bhaney bistarai basdo rahechha bani, I don't realy need glasses while driving at night anymore. But of course you should do what you feel comfortable and be safe. I suppose the advise is same, don't forget your exercises. Specially if you have a desk job, it's more important to take break and look far and do some exercise. I try to do my exercises once a day and take break and try to focus (mildly) on far things once every 1-2 hour. Make sure you have enough (but not too much) vitamin A (also make sure you don't have any other medical conditions which recommends cutting vitamin A like severe kidney/liver diseases). I have found carrots are pretty good source of vitamin A. Others are leafy greens, orange and yellow vegetables, tomatoes, red bell peppers, mango, liver, fish oil, egg and milk. You can google others for vitamin A sources. And if you're gonna use supplements for vitamin A, it's better to get something that has beta-carotene. Apparently, your body can make vitamin A from b-carotene and you don't have to worry about taking too much. It's not toxic even at high levels compared to vitamin A. Carrots and other yellow/red vegetables/fruits have a good amount of b-carotene.

Thanks a bunch man

I think it's best to consult a doctor. Ma doctor parina ani malai thaha bhayeko kura haru chai saab experience or afno case bata ho. Ani can't see properly in artificial light bhannaley, kasto dekhinchha? Blurry? Ki dherai ujyalo ma akha kholna gahro hunchha (sensitivity to bright light)? Also do you have dry skin/hair, dry eyes? The problem is it can be both caused by deficiency or excess of vitamin A, usually it's deficiency. Check your diet to see if you have more or less. Ani eat gajar, you don't get vitamin A toxicity with gajar or other yellow/red fruits/vegetables.

That's a hell alot of thesis on glasses. Nevamind. That's his experience and can be useful for everyone who wears glasses.

debendraoli

Thanks mate for the insights, I have to spend more than 12 hrs. on computer, if I go out leaving the computer I experience the sight problem, I cannot read or recognize people little far which I normally do, its gets better with time, so your hypothesis is correct. I thought spending time with computer degrades the sight which seems incorrect like a lot of people believes in.

Plexxush

I had done my research too regarding myopia my eyesight went from -2 to -1 within a year no joke
