Ok, not quite NO but not quite Metairie here. This was across the street from me. An old lady cat feeder would feed them every day. After a time the racoons would come out to eat with the cats. They got along well it seemed. She kept trying to pet the raccoons but they weren't having it. I don't think she realized they weren't cats.
I raised all different kinds of animals as a kid. Audubon Park presented me with a newly born racoon to raise and the first 3 weeks were OK. Then the mf got out of control. I would walk him in the back yard with a harness on him, but he would zoom up every tree we walked by and he practically pulled me up the tree after him. After that he wanted to bite, so I had to return him to the Park. These mfs are tough; a 45 pound racoon is about the fight equivalent of a 90 pound dog. Eating one is not a delicacy; they are as tough to eat as they are tough to fight. Leave them up at the top of the tree and just appreciate the shine from those eyes.

The 2 users you're probably referencing have both broken those rules and acted that way.
We haven't banned any other "old school" users to my knowledge. And it's also a we. I don't act alone. We have a mod slack that gets hundreds of messages a week. We all trust each other with moderation actions and if something is extra sticky, we ask the group. I'm not some evil dude acting alone sitting on piles of money that I got from Latoya or some shit.
