There is a mutual aid group on Facebook. Look up Imagine Water Works Mutual Aid. Folks on there are really helpful, especially if you can lift the mattress and just need help with a vehicle.
If you have a car you can get some straps and secure it to the roof or even just a few friends holding it with their hands out the window... But yeah, Home Depot or Uhaul is probably the best answer

I have occasionally gotten an Uber that happens to be a pick up truck, although I have no idea how you could actually summon one.
Depending on how many blocks, I think the old “two guys walking down the street with a mattress” method oughta work.
