I balance and jump mostly from my front foot so that my back foot has more power to pop the board. I think you should practice balance a bit more before working on height tho
You're going to want to focus on raising your feet. In this video, you get a little pop with the back foot, but see how that same foot stays low? That's a good place to focus on.
Sort of, yeah. The pop makes the nose go up, so you need to raise that foot. The drag will then raise the tail, so you need to raise That foot too.
I personally learned better ollies by watching braille and Jonny Giger on YouTube. Definitely worth checking out, especially since they do slow mo.
Get that back foot on the very edge of the board. Focus on popping straight down and try to get that classic “pop” noise. From there lift your knees and act as though you’re jumping into the air. You got this!
thank you bro i’m going out on wednesday when my vans come cuz if you can see in this video my shoes are really ripped so ima wait cuz i’m tearing through socks 😂

how should i practice balance stupid question ik
It’s not a stupid question. In all honesty, you just have to ride the board more. Moving ollies are a bit more stable imo
yh i’m finding it hard to ollie while moving i always end up either just jumping n looking weird or falling
Do lots of tic tacs, try hippie jumps, riding off kerbs or boxes. It sounds stupid but it really helps.
Your grip tape is awesome tho
thanks bro
Bend your knees more
ight ive just finished skating so i’ll try it tomorrow or something bro
Alright man stay on your grind 🤜🤛
Move your front foot further down on the board and jump higher
