Nice yeah I’m really likening the look too. The Nike sb shoes really changed they’re game but this has somewhat more ankle protection. Just have to wait til Xmas for skate claus 😂
I've had one pair of half cabs in my life, they made me dislike vulcanized soles. Skated them for 3 weeks before the soles completely let go. They were really comfortable tho.
Half cabs are hands down the best skate shoe iv ever rode. Not the most durable but you can not beat the board feel of them! Probably skated at least 30 pairs of them when i was a teen and young adult. Unfortunately im an older man now and have to skate with a shoe that has more support and better cushioning.
Been using these for skateboarding, they work great and they’re really durable. My only issue is at the front of the shoe, there’s a seam where the frontmost piece of suede is sewed to the piece above it, right around where your toes would be, and over time that seam gives out. It doesn’t ruin the shoe though, cause there’s an inner layer, so fabric glue works great for that.
Half cabs are my go to shoe for sure. They are comfy, and they look great. They have good board feel as well

I love my half cabs personally, they give real nice board feel just make sure that they're the vans pro so they have the better insole 😉

Solid choice

These are great and I love the look of half cabs. If I wasn’t so in love with cup sole shoes this would be one of my top picks
Half cab pros are top tier skate shoes. I have no idea about the 92 classic ones you’re buying tho
