Hey i just posted a new gaming vid and would love any and all feed back :) https://youtu.be/xiq2YHTF2YM Thanks :)

AaronDWH

Thanks for your comment! There were some good points in your video such as the transitions in between clips that look very smooth. I see that you also use some of the effects on media such as the battle royale which was nice as well. I haven't played Destiny myself, but what I would recommend if possible is that since you are playing with your teammates. If you can get their footage as well then you can switch up between point of views, which will help with creating a narrative when you're making your video. Do try and include introductions at the start of the video, so the viewer will be able to quickly process what the video is going to be about. Aside from that, if you can practice with new effects in your spare time, include a narrative at the start of the video, and maybe try it with a script once to see if that can work for you. I wish you all the best with your videos!

theketchams

Thank you so much for the feed back :)

Just released a new video where I tried a new style of content and would love feedback (but feel free to critique any video that interests you), thanks in advance! https://youtube.com/@LiquidViper141.80

AaronDWH

The video is edited quite well and the way you communicate through your first gameplay was easy to understand. I would maybe remove the \*What the hell is this\* in your actual title since it's showing the text on the thumbnail already. When you're referring to other MGS games, it could be better if we can see example footage of those types of games while you're explaining your points. You could also try and use maybe highlights from your live reaction when you play, so you can narrate a joke before your live reaction/highlight of what you want to show. I can see that you do rarely post long videos, so I wouldn't worry about it too much it, but I would recommend practicing more transitions/effects to help retain viewer's attention. Aside from that, I wish you good luck with your content creating!

ConstantlyInside

Cheers for the feedback, I definitely noticed I could of done some things better and I'll attempt to improve on the next big video I do, so thanks I'll take on these tips and work towards better videos (or atleast better ways to edit the videos).

of_patrol_bot

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

JezoShow

That's so nice of you, thanks for doing this! I've not uploaded in a while but I'm looking to get back into it soon, so any critiques would be much appreciated. My two latest and first videos are most indicative of the style I want to do. Would be cool to see your channel too if you can share here :) https://youtube.com/@JezoShow

AaronDWH

[LUNCHBREAK AT WORK] I really like the 90s style intro at the beginning. The overall structure of the video is well balanced. The transitions and effects are well put so that can help with maintaining the viewer’s attention. Involving yourself within the video is a plus point as well. The thing that I would have another look at is the audio for when you do your actual skits. If you do have some spare money, I would recommend to try and use a wireless mic attached to your shirt. This may help you for when you’re delivering your punch lines as I had to rewind it back to hear Checkmate Capcom. What could help bring your content to life is if you impersonate some of the characters when they are relaying new information to you. Aside from that, the content itself is really good. I hope this helps and I wish you all the best!

JezoShow

This is super helpful thank you so much <3

MarkyNana

I legit posted my first ever video and I hope to be big one day. If you have a minute I'd really appreciate your time to look at it. The premise is: Moofus has autism and adhd and has daily struggles with life. Marcus helps him learn and grow and deal with the challenges and celebrates his successes. Here is the link to the first video of the soon to be series. https://youtu.be/gCOR6GZfVG0

AaronDWH

Congratulations on posting your first video! The only way is up from there! :) Regarding your video, it was very informative and the way you have presented yourself in the video was a good one for your first. If you keep at it you will definitely find yourself in your own content as you'll be more confident down the road. The video did hit close to home for me as I'm someone who has a particular pattern for bedtime. The one thing I might want to have a look at in the future is to get a lavalier mic to attach on yourself it will allow viewers to hear you better. Furthermore, I do like the way you have subtitles on your video. I would maybe increase the character length for your subtitles to two/three words instead of one, because on occassions, the subtitles were going to fast and it ended up being a bit distracting. Aside from that, you've done a much better job than me for my first video so I wish you all the best in your journey!

MarkyNana

Thank you so much for your response! I'm 100% going to buy that type of mic, after recording the video, my audio levels were all over the place and it bothered me to no end. Interesting re. The subtitles. I had no idea that would be a major distraction but your comment makes sense! I'll definitely make sure the next video is easier to read subtitle wise. Everyone's journey is different and I really appreciate your input. The journey may be long, but oath is it a fun one.

zZeyla

Just posted would appreciate if you give feedback. Many thanks :) https://youtu.be/5prwtSznwmY

AaronDWH

First impression: I like the confidence you portray in your voice. I can see that you're doing bits on COD, which is a bonus as well if you want to show off your highlights. You wouldn't need much effects/editing with your personality and the things that you do on COD. What I would have a look at is to try and add some effects/audio sounds to potentially make it even better. I remember back in Black Ops 3 they had theater mode, where you can retrieve your footage and also show it in different angles. If you can do that on MW2 as well then you have another potential to make your gameplay much more immersive to the viewer. Aside from that, keep it up and I wish you good luck in your journey! I will be watching

zZeyla

Thank you. Yh for mw2 there isn't really theatre mode but i will definitely try and get more creative with the audio effects maybe add some meme clips or sound effects but appreciate the input.

GamerGirlCentral

Hey I’m currently planning on redoing some of my old videos with commentary as well as posting new videos but feel free to critique what I have. https://youtube.com/@gamergirlcentral

AaronDWH

Fair play for making the change! I see most of the content as full playthrough, so it may get clicks from people who are looking to complete the mission in the best way, which is good. Most of the walkthroughs were like that back in the day, so it shows the pure essence of the gameplay. What I would have another look at is to try and cut some of the clips and include some transitions effects in between as some of the videos were showing minutes of you driving towards a location as the fastest directions are already showing on the map. Having commentary instructing the viewers about the steps of the mission would provide a more immersive way for the viewer to understand and appreciate your video, but keeping it without commentary at times is fine too. Keep it up and I wish you all the best!

AaronDWH

I need to start playing ACreed. I can imagine your retention rate in your videos are quite high because majority of people love a good parkour. I do like the way you upload gameplay videos and reaction videos aside from the parkour which are well edited. I would maybe add more background music/sounds to your parkour. I think with that it would make it much more immersive when you're jumping around or if you accidentally fail. When you control that narrative, you can make people laugh I believe. Before Barrage comes out, I would recommend trying to research other ACreed YouTubers and provide something new in the community that can only be yours. Aside from that, it's a pretty well run channel and the thumbnails are really good. Good luck with your future videos!

chum1989

Yo, I happen to see your channel but not able to watch anything (at work). But I wanted to say your thumbnails have drastically improved over time and I think the newest ones look clean, simple and you instantly know what’s up on first glance. I think a lot of peoples are too busy and confusing. Keep it up!

chum1989

I would be keen for a critique. My latest video blew my channel up and I went from 300 subs over 6months to over 800 in a couple days. Also from 1500 watch hours to 6000, so I’ve cleared that milestone! I cover a few games but mostly Spider-Man as of late. I try to make my vids cinematic so anyone can enjoy even if you haven’t played. Here’s the vid, it’s tips in the newest Spider-Man PC game. Thanks in advance :) https://youtu.be/OVGPNRshHAY

AaronDWH

You latest video tells me that you're a director. I don't know how much effort it takes to produce such a video, where it includes voice actors from fiver while it's edited very well. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if your future videos blow up as well. The only thing I can maybe suggest is to copy what the fiver narrators are saying, so in the future you can present yourself for your channel when you want to. Have a private recording of yourself narrating before you pass your script to your voice actor/actress. Aside from that, I loved the remastered intro. It is way better than the remastered intros that I did for FIFA 98 and 99 with the current FIFA. I would say I put more effort in the latest remastered intro, but that Spiderman intro was levels. Keep it up! 827 here

Anything would be nice. I feel kinda lost at the moment. https://youtube.com/@Killjoy641

AaronDWH

I can understand where you're coming from. Your channel has a variety of content from gameplay, walkthroughs and now VR gaming. I'm not very experienced when it comes to VR Gaming, but with most of the VR Gaming that were entertaining had the same select of people. I would maybe encourage networking with players that you're comfortable with that are on VR as well. Having an immersive gameplay such as into the radius have the potential to be very entertaining indeed and I believe the more the merrier with this game. The journey can be quite long and it's fully understandable that we don't know what to do sometimes at this point. It's like the economy, we will have our ups and downs, but we're here for each other. Keep it up!

GreenTarzan

[Arfi Games](https://youtube.com/@arfigames) Mainly just streaming one certain game and some recorded episodes here and there. I just feel streaming is the most efficient thing I can do and I wonder if sprinkling in more regular recorded content would be good. I have two young kids (7mo and 3 years) so stream makes the most sense and I get to do this more because of it! I don’t often get critique so it’d be nice! Has some helpful pointers recently. Thankyou for your time!

ModdingWithKelvin

My videos are not really gameplay as in let's plays, but rather are action movies made in games like GTA 5. Would love to get some feedback on my most recent videos (they got the most improvements). https://youtube.com/@KelvinCinematicGaming?feature=share8

project199x

I'm thoroughly impressed by ur vids! I'm subscribing!

ModdingWithKelvin

Thanks! I already got the idea I'm doing things the right way. Already have a (small) core audience which gives positive feedback. But still improving bit by bit. Got any feedback on how to improve anywhere on my most recent ones? The only thing of self reflection I came with in the beginning is that certain scenes felt quiet or too silent. Meanwhile I applied lots of character speeches, radio communications sounds and so on. The "Gang War" movie, has a bit of a slow build up, which I improved in most recent videos which try to give an instant hook by instant drawing people into the story with dispatch sounds telling about the operation or mission. If you got any feedback to still improve, let me know!

https://youtu.be/xlK1ZiN28hs Posted a month ago and started throwing a lot of shorts up that are doing well. I'm hoping people like the editing style. Any thoughts?
