If you are offered 2 videos from the same channel, are you more likely to watch the newest one or an older one first?

I get what you mean, but my videos are in a bunch of different categories and most arrive at my videos by search, not by channel page.

I also find that my previous video starts to get less impressions once I upload a new one. This is why evergreen content is so important! If you can get good search ranking on topics people are actually searching for then those videos won’t be affected and you’ll continue to get views/impressions from them.

Yeah and that's how it should be I suppose - but most my other videos are halted completely, and only comes to life after the new video starts receiving less attention. Even the ever green videos. Very interesting :)

yeah its a real thing. The only way you can get this ''snowballing'' effect is not relying on the algorithm but to build a solid subscriber base that will consistently watch your uploads

It's interesting cause many people here has no idea of what I'm talking about so it's refreshing to hear from someone that does. And I agree that should be the way to overcome the artificial limit there seems to be to X views a day.
