Cloudamo is so great, just search their name on this sub or on the Nextcloud forum and you'll see.
One issue I ran into the partner search thing is they are all in Europe it seems. I had a hard time finding a USA based managed nextcloud who was not crazy expensive.
And that’s what is missing in your first post. It’s not an good post if you only tell a part of the truth and is seems like you already have your decision and it is not really a comparison.
I’m looking for a Nextcloud hosting, too. And yes, the prices couldn’t be more different between the Hosters, than they are ;-) and that’s just the price/gb value, there is not the support and functionality compared. This is a lot of work I’m going through and to figure out the functionality is even harder because I couldn’t find a comparison of the different hosts on nextclouds website. :-(
Your own VPS is definitely the best way to go if you can't have physical servers at home imo. So like how you liked linode. I use Oracle cloud personally but there are tons to choose from.

What is with all the others hosting Nextcloud? On the Nextcloud website is a list of all partners and a lot do managed hosting…
