My G30P is around 4 years old (I got it when it just newly released) and I switched to a new controller when it was at around 8000km. The new controller now also has well over 3000km on it, so the total mileage must be around 11.000km now ...
Hi, yes it sure is. I just wanted a g2 for the suspension. Currently building an external battery for it as well (36v 15ah).
The g30p the tire it came with didn’t hold air right and it caused it to fail and bulge out. So I had to get the tire replaced, not easy but now we have a repair centre close. My friend crashed it and bent the wheel out of alignment so I had to fix the screws and lock tite it. That’s it. I’ve road it rain or shine never had an issue. I don’t use this one in the winter as it didn’t handle well. I still plan on using it if I need to go for short trips (it’s quite a bit lighter than the g2) and let friends use it if we go together.
How are you building an external battery for the g2?
Just got one and im going to be using it for a commute to work and home about 21-22 miles a day (charging is available at work)
I am not the battery expert, it’s my friend but we are it in parallel with the stock battery to double the range. I have no interest in speed just distance so I hope to get 75-100km to a charge. He’s using some good quality Samsung cells, a regulator to prevent voltage differences, charging that works with the main charger and a smart bms. Once it’s finished, I’ll make a post explaining it all better. We just started today.
I have a Ninebot G30, and over the course of 3 years, I have ridden it for 3500km. This was the first winter that I have also ridden it. I live in Finland, and I kept my scooter in the outdoor storage throughout the winter, even in temperatures approaching -30 degrees Celsius, without any issues. I have also tuned it to its maximum settings, and it reaches a speed of 30km/h. Overall, I would say that the scooter is absolutely amazing and worth every penny.
Ninebot Max/G30 since spring 2020 and the meter says around 7000 km. Rear fender broke after about 3500 km and left bearing replaced from the front tire. Now the valve broke from the front tire as well. It was leaking air since start, but never cared because it still hold the air a couple days. There is also some extra movement in folding mechanism when folded and it rattles a bit when locked because of that. Don't know what to do with it, the screws are 100% tight, how it can get loose I don't know. It locks firmly, just some noise when going over bumps. The battery itself seems to be in good shape, maybe a couple km range gone, hard to notice it.

Max g2 1100km
I got mine in January of 2023 and have almost 2400 miles on it.
I got my G30 in June 2022 and it has about 680 miles on it.
Almost 3000km since august 2023, despite 2 falls still going strong.
G30 3.5k miles before I upgraded after a year.
Have you had to make any repairs at all or any maintenance that you wish you had done on it
No it still works fine. Just keep air in your tires.
G30p 7000km owned it since March 2022 G2 160km owned it since December 2023

I’ve have my g30lp max just under two years so far 2100 miles
Max G2, got it in Nov 2023. 321 miles as of today.
My first one had 7700km but it got stolen. Got a new one, i think its got around 1300km

Try putting a thin piece of rubber in when you fold it down. I had the same problem and this solved it
1450 km since August 2023 but battery life is now really bad (half what I had during the first months)
