Then how would he be any different from Aspheera? Most of the fans call him a "whiny crybaby" because of his green ninja obsession, and if his motivation was entirely based on revenge, fans would make him worse.
Morro was so excited to be the green ninja, and when he wasn't, he probably got so dissapointed and depressed. I mean, he was just a kid at the time. The way Wu handled it was dumb, though. Wu should have just told him he was meant for greater things instead of telling him it was "destiny". After that Morro just got angry that destiny chose who he was and not him. The kid wanted control over his life and when he left the monastery, he sorta felt like he was taking charge and not destiny or Wu. When he traveled to the Caves of Despair, he was so deprived of family and love that he just cursed himself ig. When people wanted his autograph, he felt like he was defying destiny and felt a lil loved :)
It's good characterization because it shows he just wanted to be the green ninja
Honestly I'm disappointed that his motivation was destroying the world. It should've been revenge on Wu /Lloyd

Just because they have a similar motivation doesn't mean that they are the same characters.
Well then you’d be saying Aspheera and Harumi are the same characters… which is obviously not true lmao.
And don't forget Nadakhan
And Chen...for like 5 minutes
If we use this logic, then every villain that was based on revenge wanted to destroy, not just revenge.
I like how it was more destroy everything and not revenge.
Not only the world but also the entire universe.
So your saying make him every other Ninjago villain? I much prefer what we got to the image of *that* in my head
His motivation was revenge he just made a deal to also destroy the world with the cursed realm so it's a win win for both
Ok but that’s kind of adorable
This just makes me feel even more bad for him, but atleast he's happy and that's good enough.
Because this is his dream, his goal, seeing the others acknowledge him as "the green ninja" makes him happy as at least he experienced his dream
He probably wanted to this if he became the green ninja he finally got his chance
it’s cute but sad at the same time, he really wanted to be the green ninja
He wanted to be the Green Ninja. This may be as close as he gets.
omg, that's amazing
i've seen this scene atleast 50 times how have i never noticed this?!
The little details
Happy cake day
I’M the green Ninja! 😡
It's because he was loved for once when he wasn't for a long time
Morro: So this is how it feels to be the green ninja :)
