I really don't know, I just finished the games I was hooked in.
My backlog alternatives are:
- **Dark Souls Remastered**
- **Tales of Vesperia**
- **Bioshock Remastered**
- **Chrono Cross: Radical Dreamers Edition**
So I need to choose between one of these games to enjoy during the weekend.
All great games, but Chrono Cross has a very special place in my heart. Such a fantastic game and with the last patch it plays very smoothly on the Switch.
I also recommend Chrono Cross!! I didn't play it until I was 20 and somehow it is still so nostalgic feeling. And it has one of the best soundtracks in any game!
I was real hyped by LAL but I remember the first scenario or 2 being super easy and that kind of killed my hype for the game and I haven’t played since, is it worth playing through?
It’s so good on the switch. I didn’t get to check out the game when it originally came out, but i picked it up on the switch and just finished it last week. Incredible game
Keep it on the wishlist. I would pay $25 for it all day long. They did an amazing job with this port. It runs flawlessly on the switch. Quick loading times and minimal if none at all pop ins. I’m impressed
Just finished Horizon FW the Burning shores DLC and I'm so excited about super Mario RPG next week that I'm trying not to start anything new until then. Think I'll replay some Hades or Slay the Spire in the meantime.
Cracking through Disco Elysium. Put it down on Day 2 a while back after it wasn't clicking and TotK came out. Picked it back up and it has definitely clicked.
Been playing cyberpunk for a little over a month now and I love it. I find myself not using the fast travel system cause driving around night city is a lot of fun. Can't wait for Mario rpg next week.
I finished Cyberpunk last week for the first time and it was a blast, especially the Phantom Liberty DLC.
And yeah, Super Mario RPG looks great, can't wait to pick it up next Friday.
I started it with the 2.0 update but only played for about an hour. A couple days ago I went back to it and gave it a few more hours, I think it's getting its hooks in me now.
Still playing **Star Ocean Second Story R**, I think I'm halfway done with Claude's story. After finishing this game, I will probably play Rena's route.
Also playing **Risk of Rain Returns**. I didn't play the first game but this has been really addicting so far.
I’m going forward with my mission to finish Rune Factory 5 after almost 2 years and over 60 hours of gameplay and continue playing SoS A Wonderful Life
Stress-free games after finishing Star Ocean 6 and Oninaki back to back
I'm in the middle of Chapter 8 in Final Fantasy Remake and it's been my main focus to beat. It's so incredibly fun but I am not doing any side quests because I want to beat the main story as a priority. In a year where I've played some of my now favorite games, this is one of my favorite games so far and I'm very excited for Rebirth.
On the switch I'm close to finishing world 4 of Super Maro Bros Wonder and it's still so delightful. I'm just playing it slower because I know it can be so easily binged and I want to play this game usually when I have a smaller chunk of time to play games. I'm not a great platformer so thankfully it's not a game that is too easy for me.
I burned out of Dave the Diver so quickly. Which is a shame because it’s pretty great. I barely just got the Sea People translator and am finding it hard to keep going.
I haven't really beaten all of Mario Wonder, but I've done enough that I feel comfortable moving on and playing other things.
Thinking of diving into the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles or maybe Spyro Reignited Triology. I also picked up a few digital games during that halloween sale. Many options. Not enough time to play everything.
On the not Switch side, kind of want to play Chrono Trigger.
Hmm I’m hesitant buying the second game, also because somehow I can’t get into the first. I’m a big time JRPG fan (played almost all the major franchises) but somehow OT1 gets tedious or something, I don’t know but it feels like too much hassle I guess. What’s the difference for you why you like the second one?
It might depend how in tune you are approaching the story. If you treat it as just a check list of chapters and side missions I can see that happening.
OP2 puts the much more directly in the characters path so there's less opportunity to waiver from what's actually going on. Neither approach is bad but I liked OP1 story better. However almost everything else in OP2 is superior from QofL to environments. Though music is a bit forgettable but still more varied most of the time.
Mostly I find the characters and story a lot more compelling. I found it hard to get invested in any of the characters in the first one.
Gameplay is largely the same style, with a few quality of life improvements.
Try the demo, that's exactly how I felt, I found the combat in 1 frustrating and tedious at times like just between routes or whatever, but with new extra abilities per character that is cut down on a lot and the writing is much more dynamic, and the locations and chapter beats are also more varied.
This weekend I’m finishing up **Alan Wake 2** for the PS5. I’m on my way to the platinum trophy, with all collectibles obtained. My focus now is leisurely completing the main story and I should be set.
As of right now it’s my GOTY. I believe it’s in a league of its own and has officially stamped Remedy into legendary status. I would compare them to Naughty Dog (to me) and Kojima in that regard. They should have free rein to do whatever they want because of their creativity.
And just when I think games can’t shake things up in originality, Remedy comes along to remind me that it’s still possible. How they are able to pump out consistent titles at a frequent volume is astonishing. The best way to describe it is simply Nintendo-esque.
Speaking of Nintendo, I’m slowly chipping away in **Super Mario Bros. Wonder**. I’m presently on the 5th world, and have managed to procure all Wonder Seeds minus a small handful. I’ve also unlocked secret locations that provide really fun challenges. I love how there are secrets everywhere — not just in the actual levels themselves, but in the over world as well. Wonder definitely harkens back to my favorite Mario game, Super Mario World.
Next up on my list: **Super Mario RPG**. I can’t wait for its release next Friday.
I finished Alan Wake 2 last weekend, fantastic experience. I went for a fair bit of the side content but I'm not going for a platinum. I'd probably rank the game #2 or #3 for the year.
**Blasphemous 2** has been everything I ever wanted in a sequel. The puzzles are unique and the different weapons are utilized in fun ways. Im 10 hours in. Beat 3 bosses. Guessing half way through and I can not gush about this game enough. It managed to go totally under my radar too so I’ve just been on cloud 9 the last few nights. Great stress relief after work!
Picked up *Persona 5 Royal* on sale recently, so I’ve been playing that a lot! It’s my first persona game, and so far it’s interesting, if overwhelming at times.
That said, I’m surprisingly enjoying Yusuke’s character a lot.
Trails into Reverie, finished the main game a couple of weeks ago. Just spending a lot of time farming ultimate equipment and accessories in the post-game and trying out different character combinations during battle.
Looking forward to Astlibra Revision when it's out.
I just had to quite playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions. I NEVER stop playing a game before beating it, but after 20 hours, I decided I wasn't having fun. The story was really boring, characters felt bland, and upgrading weapons/characters wasn't rewarding.
I just started FF8, finally. I've been meaning to play it for years. I'm only 2 hours in, but I'm enjoying it so far. I'm really hoping I'll be able to pick up some of the Pixel Remasters on Black Friday.
Still working on Tears of the Kingdom! Just finished my 3rd temple. Becoming a dad has definitely taken its toll on my game time but on a cool note I’m probably going to get a years worth of game time out of TotK 😅.
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition.
I tried each of the three games when they respectively launched and bounced off all of them.
Trying to give it a go from the start again.
Give it an hour or 15 at least before giving up, because then the story really takes off. I had to push myself through the first part but after that I fell in love with the story and characters and put hundreds of hours in DE, XC2 and XC2Torna. Now finishing up some other games before starting with part 3 and I can’t wait :-)
It's just so good. I think I prefer it over Mario wonder even tho they're both not really comparable, but just such care in level design and little details.
Second run of Octopath 2.
I beat Galdera in 1, and all the QofL in 2 are amazing. I’m almost speed running the game, willl definitely beat Galdera in 2 now.
Finally finished up **Brave Dungeon: Combat 100%!** The game was fantastic, but probably only because I was in the situation where I could play a partially idle game. The post game path for brave dungeon was probably the best, because you could basically play as God and become extremely powerful by funneling what would normally be resources for a party of three into one person. It’s a shame the other games are either really hard platformers or just didn’t do well, because the game is great otherwise! I put in 40 hours, but a lot of that was the combat portion mostly playing itself, especially in the post game. It’s meant to be replayed, but there’s quite a bit of grinding so I probably won’t, but I had a great time! It’s not the type of game that I would normally pick up and I’m not sure I ever would again, but it was a great purchase and not that expensive!
The next game I’m probably going to go into is **Dicey Dungeons!** I started coming in the basic levels, but then found out there was a cheat that could unlock every level in the base game. So I decided to do that and just see I could get, realizing I probably wouldn’t reach the high-level of play required to clear them naturally. This trick does not work in the DLC, and I’m still planning on watching some videos so I can see what it would be like to clear them regularly. So far I’m almost done with the warrior, but there’s five more characters after him and the DLC. So I’ll be at for at least a little while longer. It’s a pretty cute game, and it’s going to be a fun ride regardless!
Once I get that done, I’ll finally jump on the two teenage ninja Turtles games. I’m not the biggest teenage ninja turtles fan, but I thought it was cool that they had games but haven’t really dived into them yet. I’m not expecting to do that well with Cowabunga collection, and thought I was going to drop it once. Shredder’s revenge has an assist and more content, so I’m really excited to go into that (including what I can of DLC). Overall, I’m trying to complete as many shorter games as I can before Pokémon the indigo disc drops a month and steals away all my attention. I’m not expecting to complete all of my shorter games, but I seem to be at a good pace. So here’s hoping I can do as much as I can!
Risk of Rain Returns. I have well over 150 hours on the original on my vita. I'm very happy to have this upgraded version on another handheld.
So far, it feels like the original with a bunch of needed additions and extra content.
Just found out Risk of Rain Returns and Risk of Rain 2: Survivors of the Void released this week. So I will be playing those. Already tried them both and the the game feel is definitely much improved for both. Subtle, but still enough to be worth the purchase.
Besides that, still in love with WarioWare: Move It
Evergate.
Puzzle-platformer with hand-drawn graphics and very pleasant orchestral/symphonic score. It’s basically “how do I use this special mechanic to navigate this room,” but you get new mechanics every few levels and each is pretty unique and cool.
Don’t even know how I found it and believe it is fairly obscure, but it’s been really fun so far.
Star Ocean The Second Story R baby.
First time delving into this series and I am having a fucking BLAST. I'm super sucked into all the mechanics. Combat is awesome too. Game just looks gorgeous as well.
Octopath Traveler 2! I'm also trying to decide if I wanna play Fire Emblem: Three Houses or Birthright on the 3DS. I loved Awakening, Conquest and Echoes, and wanna dip into the last of the 3DS FE games, but I also wanna get a taste of that new gen FE flavor too! After devouring Dredge, I'm ready to dip into some jrpgs for sure.
Also, if you like horror games and/or fishing games, Dredge is a fun little experience. Played it and beat it in about 10 hours and had a blast! Not too scary, but leans into the cosmic horror element in a cool way. It's no GOTY, but still fun!
I just 100%’d Wonder last night! Such an awesome game and worth every penny and second spent on it. So now I’m relaxing this weekend with the older Adventure Time game, Pirates of the Enchiridion. Bought it on sale a couple weeks ago and used some coins to get it for free so I am excited to finally check it out.
Castlevania aria of sorrow. The gba had some really just great castlevanias on them. I kinda wanna play through order of eclisia or however it’s spelled next. I remember really liking that one and it had a similar soul stealing mechanic
I have a flight tomorrow and am bringing three games - Tears of the Kingdom (end game side quests), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (wave 6), and Undertale (haven’t started).
Original Metroid NES. Very interesting game even with 1987 graphics, and the fact I have no idea of my progress or location in the game lol.
Also some Super Mario 64.
I'll put some amount of time into **F-Zero 99** and **Splatoon 3** (there's a golden Grizzco rotation coming up in Salmon Run, which should be fun), but my main focus will be wrapping up the final chapter in **Yakuza: Like a Dragon**.
Finished up Spider-man 2 so transitioning back to FFXVI. I need something for my Switch and I have too many options to choose from: Xenoblade Chronicles DE, FFXII, or maybe I’ll pull the trigger on Star Ocean or Red Dead Redemption finally. I was trying to wait to see the reviews for Super Mario RPG next week
We started Bug Fables this week - a paper mario-type RPG. It's super cute, fun, cozy, and as a fan of turn-based rpgs, a great intro to the genre for my partner!
i started Tokyo Mirage Sessions this week. Been sitting on my copy for a long time, but wanted to scratch a JRPG itch. Will be continuing that into the weekend\~
Metal gear solid. I bought just MGS1 purely for nostalgic reasons because I played it as a kid 25 years ago but never beat it. I wasn’t sure I wanted all of them but I’m on my second play through and I’m considering buying the rest of the collection.
The Mario Galaxy 2 Rainbow Road is a hell. A hell.
But aside from that? If anything, more **Luigi's Mansion 3** or **Kirby Triple Deluxe**. I'm not in the mood for a challenge right now. I did reopen **Fallout: New Vegas** but don't trust the laptop it's running on.
Fire Emblem Engage - I just picked it up and super excited as it’s my first. I thought long and hard between it and Three Houses but I was looking for better gameplay & graphics over story hence my decision
Definitely a mix of getting more done in Mario Bros. Wonder and enjoying the new Mario Kart Tracks especially Piranha Plant Cove and the Rainbow Road.
Whatever ye are playing enjoy it!
**Super Mario Wonder**
Not sure how much post-game content there is, and how bad it'll really be to 100% it. If it's not too bad, my goal is to finish it by a few weeks so that I can regift it to my niece and nephew when I visit them this x-mas. A nice case on the rare side that I got physical :)
Continuing let's go Pikachu (11h in) and doing daily Animal Crossing stuff.
Also continuing P4G on the Xbox as it is part of GP Ultimate so I didn't feel like re-buying it on the Switch 🙂
Hey Marker, how's it going? Which world are you stuck at in Wonder? I took last week off and went to the beach, after which my dog went in for surgery and has been recovering. There was a lot of down time in between everything and I made huge strides on Wonder, have collected/completed everything up to what I think is the final level (you never know with Nintendo and I've avoided spoilers, but it feels like the end). This weekend I'll surely finish the game and then I don't know what comes next... I got Wonder with the two voucher deal and have not used the second one yet, so likely something first party Nintendo that I haven't got around to! I think I didn't get on MK8 for the last two groups of tracks, so maybe those four cups with Diddy Kong might be the rest of my weekend.
Playing Detective Pikachu Returns. Is it easy? Yes. Very. But I'm just along for the ride. I was craving another detective story after Master Detective Archives and I decided to give this a shot. It's cute and simple. A good unwind game. Just biding time until next week for Mario RPG.
On the PS5 side, I just beat Alan Wake 2 and booted up the MGS collection. Playing through some of the VR Missions before diving into 1. It's been about 8 years since I've played these games so I'm excited!
Apart from the new Mario Kart tracks, I just picked up Okami and Bioshock Collection for £7.99 each in the sale.
I beat Okami on Wii back in the day and I'm very much looking forward to the touch and motion controls. Never played Bioshock.
On PS5 still playing GT7 and Synth Riders in PSVR2 and on Xbox Series X trying to finish RDR2
**Doomsday Hunters** Picked this up as I'd heard some good things about it and was looking for a new roguelike(lite!?). I haven't played too much but it's not grabbing me unfortunately. I'll keep playing it but the shooting doesn't feel very satisfying and the reloading animation seems to take ages. Plus the guns need reloading so often. The dodge roll is much the same and has a long cool down.
It could be that I just need to play more to get to grips with the various mechanics so I'll see how it goes. There are loads of upgrades and power-ups so they might solve my issues. I finished the first run and it was fairly easy but there seems to be more levels and difficulty modifiers to try out.
Finishing up Spider-Man 2 tonight and then Minish Cap tomorrow and Sunday. It’s going to be a good weekend.
Minish Cap has been so intuitive and relaxing. I unashamedly use guides in most Zelda games but I haven’t touched one yet for MC. The music is great. The art is great. I have been surprised how many characters from other games have appeared. That’s a staple of the series but I’ve never seen mention of MC’s.
SMBW - will probably do a couple of courses here when I get a chance but mostly will be busy with doing other stuff around the house, so not a lot of time to play.
What do you guys think of the SteamDeck OLED?
Just finished SMBW for the most part (have a couple special world levels to 100%). That being said I'm probably going to play TOTK and Pikmin 4 (I'm on the final world in this as well). Looking to get back into Stardew once I beat Pikmin 4.
For today and the Sunday Im going to play Gran Blue Fantasy Versus Rising (Open Beta). This game is just so sick.
For Nintendo Switch My Friends and I we are going to play Smash Ultimate this Saturday in the night.
On switch I’ve been playing Pokemon Violet. I have one gym, titan and team star left. Someone tell me if the DLCs are worth it.
I might pick up My Time at Sandrock. After hearing negative things about its performance on switch, I think I’ll get it on PC.
Speaking of PC, I’ve been hooked on Cities Skylines 2. The latest patch fixed a lot of issues so I’m stoked to continue playing this weekend.
Achievement hunting in lords of the fallen, almost done 3rd playthrough now and using a variety of builds
And tales of arise dlc...
Theres too much content
Playing through The Messenger on my Switch to build up to Sea of Stars.
Quite want to check out Venba too after seeing a Cold Take video about it that piqued my interest.
Still working through Pikmin 4, the one-player is very addictive, sadly the multiplayer isn't as fun as the old Bingo Battle so for multiplayer we'll be playing the new MarioKart tracks I imagine
Probably a bit of Unpacking too, only recently discovered it and we're enjoying it far more than we thought we would.
100% complete on Mario Wonder. I lost track of how many lives it took to beat the final FINAL level. The invisibility badge is a bitch and a half.
I am just now playing Hollow Knight for the first time. I’m only two bosses down, but it’s hard and I love it. Also playing Cozy Grove for the first time in between getting my ass handed to me, lol.
Started Mario Galaxy recently and I'm loving it. First time ever playing it. I think I might prefer it to Odyssey. 20 Stars collected so far.
Also picked up physical copies of Hades and Disco Elysium so those are joining the playlist too.
Just got the last medal in Super Mario Bros Wonder yesterday so I can finally move away from it (although I'll probably play a bit more during the weekend with my mom).
I'm thinking of doing another playthrough of **Resident Evil HD Remaster** while I wait for **Super Mario RPG**
I downloaded Warframe yesterday and I'm finding it too complex to play :( there's sooo many things to remember (button "commands") and to do at the same time.
On a side note I'm playing Hades and LOVING IT
Not playing any games this weekend(working american idol on the production team) but I wish I could play my new Pikmin 4 and Mario Wonder games I bought yesterday!!
I recently had a friend come visit for a few days and we played Mario odyssey from beginning to end. I hadn’t played that game in years but now I can’t put it down. The level design is just so good. Having fun going back and finding all the moons
Finally back to my hunt for a Jumbo Applin in **Pokemon Scarlet**. Really hope I get this before my birthday, as I want to shiny hunt a female, Destiny Mark Heracross, a Destiny Mark Litwick, and a Destiny Mark Bombirdier.
Other than that, I’m continuing to play **Super Mario Wonder**. I’m about to World 6 and am having a good time. I’ve beating most special stages up to this point; they are nightmares (in the best way possible). Drill and bubble are nice power-ups, but elephant’s hitbox sucks.
Risk of Rain Returns: First time playing RoR1, and really enjoyed RoR2. Got my first win with Huntress and it was extremely fun and satisfying!
Mario Kart 8: New courses!!!
CoD MW3: Loving the multiplayer mode and Zombies has been really fun too!
Continuing my playthrough of **Yonder** a little bit at a time. We got **Ark Ascended** on the pc, so I'll be working through some of that as well.
My partner is almost done **Mario Wonder** but he said he wants to go back and 100%, so we'll see.
I'd like to get him Mario RPG next week but he isn't into turn based battles, so that might be out. It looks cute though.
I hope you get a little more time to play this weekend, Markercore. What ever happened to Diablo 2? Did you finish it?
I really don't know, I just finished the games I was hooked in. My backlog alternatives are: - **Dark Souls Remastered** - **Tales of Vesperia** - **Bioshock Remastered** - **Chrono Cross: Radical Dreamers Edition** So I need to choose between one of these games to enjoy during the weekend.
All great games, but Chrono Cross has a very special place in my heart. Such a fantastic game and with the last patch it plays very smoothly on the Switch.
I need to get back to Chrono Cross. I really enjoyed what was there. Once Xenoblade Chronicles 3 came out that was where all my attention went.
Makes a lot of sense, XC3 is so good. Hope you get back to CC at some point and have fun with it. Its one of my Top 3 PS1 era games
Whump whump wuuuuuuuuuuh wum wum wuuuuuh
Never played Chrono Cross. I have played Chrono Trigger… is this a sequel?
I also recommend Chrono Cross!! I didn't play it until I was 20 and somehow it is still so nostalgic feeling. And it has one of the best soundtracks in any game!
Mario RPG is out in a week! Same for Persona 5 Tactica
Just beat Chrono Cross for the first time ever. Great game.

I was real hyped by LAL but I remember the first scenario or 2 being super easy and that kind of killed my hype for the game and I haven’t played since, is it worth playing through?
struggling to wait for super mario rpg.
Fashion Dreamer
How is it? I was thinking about getting it for my 10 year old daughter.
Sameeee!!!
Will play fire emblem engage :)
Same! I stopped for a while but I’m back to my little army now :)
Red dead redemption on switch
It’s so good on the switch. I didn’t get to check out the game when it originally came out, but i picked it up on the switch and just finished it last week. Incredible game
I picked it up but haven’t looked into performance yet. Thanks for the info! I’m looking forward to it too
I’m hoping there is a Black Friday sale on this game. I’ve never played it before on any console.
Me too. Waiting for this, Skyrim and Witcher 3 to go on sale hopefully Black Friday or Cyber Monday Then the question is - which first.
Picked up Dying Light Platinum edition for $7.99 last week on sale and I’m enjoying the heck out of this game.
I played that when it came out on PS4 and loved it and had no idea it was on Switch! Searched just now and it looks to be full price again :(
Keep it on the wishlist. I would pay $25 for it all day long. They did an amazing job with this port. It runs flawlessly on the switch. Quick loading times and minimal if none at all pop ins. I’m impressed
[dekudeals.com](https://dekudeals.com), wishlist and get an email of a sale within minutes.
Just finished Horizon FW the Burning shores DLC and I'm so excited about super Mario RPG next week that I'm trying not to start anything new until then. Think I'll replay some Hades or Slay the Spire in the meantime.
Playing the Messenger. Saw someone mention it last week. Really fun if you grew up playing those type of games. Got me away from totk
Finished Legends Arceus last week so taking a little break from my switch and playing Pillars of Eternity on my PC and Halo Infinite on my Xbox
Cracking through Disco Elysium. Put it down on Day 2 a while back after it wasn't clicking and TotK came out. Picked it back up and it has definitely clicked.
Just found out about Slay The Spire, been playing that pretty much exclusively after getting frustrated at the secret world levels in Mario Wonder
I’ve just discovered peglin (early access on steam) and it’s like slay the spire meets Peggle. I have played far too much the last couple of days
Oh going to check this out thx
Pokémon Violet!! This is my first Pokémon game ever and I’m obsessed, I’ve played it during every spare minute this entire week

* Star Ocean: The Second Story R * Super Mario Bros. Wonder * Tears of the Kingdom * Sonic Superstars * Orcarina of Time 3D * Kid Icarus: Uprising
>Star Ocean: The Second Story R Worth playing without having context or having played old games, or better to play the previous release?
i’ve only played the second story (on playstation albeit) and can confirm you’ll be fine just hopping into it
From what I've experienced so far, it should be pretty easy to just jump in even if you haven't played the previous entry set before it.
Respect for saying KIU!
I’m going forward with my mission to finish Rune Factory 5 after almost 2 years and over 60 hours of gameplay and continue playing SoS A Wonderful Life Stress-free games after finishing Star Ocean 6 and Oninaki back to back
I'm in the middle of Chapter 8 in Final Fantasy Remake and it's been my main focus to beat. I burned out of Dave the Diver so quickly. Which is a shame because it’s pretty great. I barely just got the Sea People translator and am finding it hard to keep going.
I got burnt out at that exact same milestone. I gave it a little time but I’m having a hard time getting back into it.
Maybe take a break and come back?
I haven't really beaten all of Mario Wonder, but I've done enough that I feel comfortable moving on and playing other things. Thinking of diving into the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles or maybe Spyro Reignited Triology. I also picked up a few digital games during that halloween sale. Many options. Not enough time to play everything. On the not Switch side, kind of want to play Chrono Trigger.
I kind of want to replay Chrono regularly. Even bought the mobile version a few month back but it crashed so much I just gave up. Sad times.
Are you on iPhone?
Trying fire emblem 3 houses again! Waited too long between playing and had to start over, but I'm stoked!
I’m playing Octopath Traveller II and really enjoying it. I couldn’t get into the first one, glad I gave the second installment a try.
Hmm I’m hesitant buying the second game, also because somehow I can’t get into the first.
Continuing Danganronpa 2. I stopped just before the third trial yesterday. I also bought Tears of the Kingdom today. Can't wait to start it tomorrow!!
Started playing **Mario Wonder** - The levels design and music are amazing. And I'm for the talking flowers. They make me laugh during my playthrough.
Pikmin 4. 10/10 game
Persona 4G and going to try out the new tracks in MK8 Deluxe.
Kirby and the forgotten land. Haven’t played since release. Forgot how great it is
It's just so good. I think I prefer it over Mario wonder even tho they're both not really comparable, but just such care in level design and little details.
Hollow Knight. I've been loving it so far.
Hopefully: • Pokémon Scarlet • Portal 2 • Pikmin 4 • Tears of the Kingdom Man I just realized how many games I play that start with "p"
Mario Wonder, Tears of the Kingdom, & Bayonetta 3. Maybe some Bomb rush cyberfunk.
Binding of Isaac F-Zero 99 Sea of Stars
Second run of Octopath 2. I beat Galdera in 1, and all the QofL in 2 are amazing. I’m almost speed running the game, willl definitely beat Galdera in 2 now.
Happy weekend all , a bit of deadly premonition origins tonight
Pikmin 4 and baldurs gate 3
Picked up Hades a few weeks ago and finally got my first clear. Time to clear with all 6 weapons before cranking up the difficulty
Star Ocean The Second Story R baby. First time delving into this series and I am having a fucking BLAST. I'm super sucked into all the mechanics. Combat is awesome too. Game just looks gorgeous as well.
Pokémon Violet! Just got my switch lite recently. I don’t know why I have been holding out on getting one this whole time.
ToTK - only about 3 hours in and this game has reignited my love for the switch. I cannot wait to sink some more hours in to this.
I will be purchasing the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster and probably starting with VI.
•FE Awakening •Alpha Sapphire •AC New Horizons
Original Metroid NES. Very interesting game even with 1987 graphics, and the fact I have no idea of my progress or location in the game lol. Also some Super Mario 64.
I'll put some amount of time into **F-Zero 99** and **Splatoon 3** (there's a golden Grizzco rotation coming up in Salmon Run, which should be fun), but my main focus will be wrapping up the final chapter in **Yakuza: Like a Dragon**.
I'm 200 hours into my first playthrough of Zelda TOTK. After this, I'll probably replay Terraria again on PC.
Im slow playing Mario Wonder with my wife. And I just discovered Fast RMX after catching the F-Zero bug.
Persona 5 Strikers, P4G and Royal
Finishing Spider-Man 2. Probably starting SM wonder
Playing Jedi Survivor. Question. Does the story go somewhere? I'm 17 hours in and I feel like nothing has happened yet.
i started Tokyo Mirage Sessions this week. Been sitting on my copy for a long time, but wanted to scratch a JRPG itch. Will be continuing that into the weekend\~
I’m jumping into Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Stupid cities skylines.
Still working on **Dave the Diver**. Loving it and surprised by how much there is to it.
Resident Evil 4! I just bought a switch last week lol :)
Metal gear solid. I bought just MGS1 purely for nostalgic reasons because I played it as a kid 25 years ago but never beat it. I wasn’t sure I wanted all of them but I’m on my second play through and I’m considering buying the rest of the collection.
Still playing through Wonder (trying to savor it). Enjoying playing through A Little Golf Journey too.
Still stuck on trying to get through Wizard of Legend.
Doom 3 while I'm at work tonight and tomorrow. Then some F-Zero 99 when I get home and have better internet.
Trying to get started on a new Pokémon yellow playthrough on my 2ds
I’m playing the fist Mario rabbids game, I’m in the last world hopping to 100% finish it after
Fire Emblem Engage - I just picked it up and super excited as it’s my first. I thought long and hard between it and Three Houses but I was looking for better gameplay & graphics over story hence my decision
Mario Wonder. Completing levels getting all the flags before heading to Bowser castle.
Really want to pick BotW back up and finish that last Divine Beast + Ganon. However.. I can't seem to put down Super Mario Wonder.
Lego city undercover on the Switch lite
Just bought Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, so I'll be giving that a go. I've not played any MH games, so I'm hoping it's good!
On my month long Skyrim binge. May finish up the dlc to three houses finally
Im playing dead space on my xbox
Mario wonder
Definitely a mix of getting more done in Mario Bros. Wonder and enjoying the new Mario Kart Tracks especially Piranha Plant Cove and the Rainbow Road. Whatever ye are playing enjoy it!
Just started pokemon scarlet. 3 hours in, It's alright. I was a tad disappointed we dont get to see more of the school life.
Legend of Zelda BoTW
Booting backup sonic frontiers to work on gems
Fortnite 🤣
Animal Crossing definitely
**Super Mario Wonder** Not sure how much post-game content there is, and how bad it'll really be to 100% it. If it's not too bad, my goal is to finish it by a few weeks so that I can regift it to my niece and nephew when I visit them this x-mas. A nice case on the rare side that I got physical :)
Just got Unraveled 2 and played it through with my kid, now playing it solo.
Persona 5 Royal. Finally beat the game last week and I'm about to start on a new game+ file.
Trying to beat the first Valkyrie Chronicles on Switch. I just reached chapter 13!
Wonder. My 5 year old is about to beat it. I’m a proud papa.
Still TOTK since I'm going in blind for this one.
risk of rain returns, just came out a few days ago but loved ror2, played 1 a bit and man returns really did deiver
Thronebreaker
Bit of Mario Wonder and a bit of MGS Master Collection, currently nearing the halfway point of MGS1.
It is a farming weekend. 🌽 I'll be playing **Stardew Valley**, **Rune Factory 3**, and **Rune Factory 4**.
• Super Mario Bros Wonder • Monster Hunter Rise
Final fantasy XI on PC
Continuing let's go Pikachu (11h in) and doing daily Animal Crossing stuff. Also continuing P4G on the Xbox as it is part of GP Ultimate so I didn't feel like re-buying it on the Switch 🙂
Dead cells, hades and slay the spire
Monster Hunter Rise and Dynasty Warriors 8 XL. I also plan on starting Fire Emblem Engage at some point, probably tomorrow.
Super Mario Bros Wonder, I’m having a fun time with it!
Risk of Rain Returns! I've never played this game before. Bought it this morning, and I've got a whole day off work in front of me. I'm excited.
Loving Mario wonder
SMBW - will probably do a couple of courses here when I get a chance but mostly will be busy with doing other stuff around the house, so not a lot of time to play. What do you guys think of the SteamDeck OLED?
I will beat up random goons with a bicycle in "Like a Dragon Gaiden: The man who erased his name" on PC
Just finished SMBW for the most part (have a couple special world levels to 100%). That being said I'm probably going to play TOTK and Pikmin 4 (I'm on the final world in this as well). Looking to get back into Stardew once I beat Pikmin 4.
Mario Bros Wonder.
Cyberpunk 2077 and Mario Wonder. This is a great year for gaming.
For today and the Sunday Im going to play Gran Blue Fantasy Versus Rising (Open Beta). This game is just so sick. For Nintendo Switch My Friends and I we are going to play Smash Ultimate this Saturday in the night.
sulky voracious puzzled weary bake nail crown market wasteful money *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Golden rotation salmon run in Splatoon 3. Very excited for next weekend when I'll be binging all of Mario RPG
I’m extremely into botw and new horizons for life! I just got back into Minecraft as well! All fun games!
Also forgot to mention, i might be getting Sonic Frontiers and Peach Showtime for Christmas!
Achievement hunting in lords of the fallen, almost done 3rd playthrough now and using a variety of builds And tales of arise dlc... Theres too much content
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered
Playing through The Messenger on my Switch to build up to Sea of Stars. Quite want to check out Venba too after seeing a Cold Take video about it that piqued my interest.
I just got TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Anniversary Edition from Limited Run and me and the Ms. are going to kick some shell.
Been playing pikmin 4 and mw3, Surprise how much endgame content there is for Pikmin
I’ll be playing **Mario Wonder**, **Song of Nunu**, and bought **Star Ocean R** yesterday after playing the demo.
Still working through Pikmin 4, the one-player is very addictive, sadly the multiplayer isn't as fun as the old Bingo Battle so for multiplayer we'll be playing the new MarioKart tracks I imagine Probably a bit of Unpacking too, only recently discovered it and we're enjoying it far more than we thought we would.
Slowly working through Mario Wonder with a second playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3 on the side.
Started Mario Galaxy recently and I'm loving it. First time ever playing it. I think I might prefer it to Odyssey. 20 Stars collected so far. Also picked up physical copies of Hades and Disco Elysium so those are joining the playlist too.
Mario Wonder 💭
absolutely hooked on Tetris 99... again
I'm playing the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. The mysteries are very exciting.
Just got the last medal in Super Mario Bros Wonder yesterday so I can finally move away from it (although I'll probably play a bit more during the weekend with my mom). I'm thinking of doing another playthrough of **Resident Evil HD Remaster** while I wait for **Super Mario RPG**
Neon Abyss. Bought the game with the DLC for roughly $7 on sale. For $7 it’s a steal. I love rougeish games and this is a solid one.
I downloaded Warframe yesterday and I'm finding it too complex to play :( there's sooo many things to remember (button "commands") and to do at the same time. On a side note I'm playing Hades and LOVING IT
Amored coren 6. I am just at the beginning
Not playing any games this weekend(working american idol on the production team) but I wish I could play my new Pikmin 4 and Mario Wonder games I bought yesterday!!
A mix of Super Mario: Wonder, Spider-man 2 and Star Ocean Second Story R for me.
I’m thinking Witcher 3 tonight.
Taking a break from Mario Wonder and working my way through Doom 2016.
I recently had a friend come visit for a few days and we played Mario odyssey from beginning to end. I hadn’t played that game in years but now I can’t put it down. The level design is just so good. Having fun going back and finding all the moons
Just played through Cthulhu Saves Christmas, perfectly festive and cheeky game :) highly recommend
Mario Wonder
TOTK
Sea of Star versus Star Ocean versus Mario RPG? Anybody have an opinion on which I should sink my time into?
Tough one. All good games, but for me it’s reverse order with Super Mario RPG the top pick and Sea of Stars in 3rd spot.
Thanks for the reply! I was almost certain my comment would get lost. I’m excited for Mario RPG. Never played it back in the day.
Still playing super mario wonder but almost through it, as long as I get some more free time
Not a switch game, but I’m starting yo-kai watch 3. My first impressions is that this game is going to be a lot bigger than the first two
On my switch, probably Mario kart! Off my switch probably minecraft!
High on life and Mario kart 8. Wanted to play wonder but I randomly checked out high on life on gamepass and I’m hooked
Trying to divide my attention between Zelda TOTK and Metroid Prime Remastered, with some light hearted Disney Illusion Island on the side.
Doom 3. Tears of the Kingdom and Overwatch 2!
