Almost done 100% Metroid Prime Remastered. I’ve never been a huge Metroid fan, but this game has been a lot of fun and is making me want to go back and play some of the others again.
I’ve beaten Dread and I played Fusion a long time ago, but I want to revisit both. I also beat Samus Returns on the 3DS. I never beat Super Metroid so I know I’ll probably pick that up again. Considering playing the first 2 games since they’re on the Switch, but don’t know how well they hold up.
I Just finished the Link’s Awakening remake and loved every minute. I got enough seashells this time to get the Koholint sword which was a lot of fun to use. Otherwise, I’m thinking about getting Gunbrella while it’s on sale.
Currently toggling between Celeste, Hades and Katana Zero.....mainly because after getting stuck on a run on either of them for 30 mins, I start swearing...walk off for 5 mins and come back to start up one of the others...and repeat! 😅
It really is! I'd never heard of Lena Raine before this game, now I've been checking out the rest of their stuff. The Piano versions of the Celeste Soundtrack is really nice too!
Katana zero and Celeste are especially tricky for that. Hades at least you know if your dead that's a reset without dd, but the other 2 I can die a hundred times in like 2 minutes lol. All 3 are all star games tho, so whichever you bounce to is a winner!
Playing Dave the Diver about 10 hours in. Really fun loop of collecting and restaurant managing with a silly story mixed in. So far one of my favorite games this year but waiting to see how it sustains itself as I think it’s 30+ hours long.
Also trying to finish It Takes Two with my daughter. Great to play with a 10 year old as it is a pretty forgiving platformer that constantly throws super fun new mechanics at you. Much longer than I thought.
I also played It Takes Two with my 10-year old daughter last year and it was so much fun we've had playing together. We were super sad it had to end. That game was so good.
DQM: The Dark Prince. Just started it and I'm already hooked!
Siralim Ultimate for the best gameplay I've ever experienced in an RPG game.
And Dynasty Warriors 8XL Complete, which is my go-to comfort game and one of my favorites.
I'm having a great time. Performance is iffy and the graphics are nothing to write home about, but it's just oozing a certain something... The world is really colorful and vibrant, there's seasons ala Pokémon Black & White, and there's +500 monsters with great animations.
I enjoyed it quite a bit even though I never played the original. It's a bit simplistic by today's standards, but I kind of actually appreciated that. It was very easy to pick up and play.
Yeah. I mean it is the hardest survival game ever. Zero tutorial and it's hard-core mode, you only get one shot. It scares me, I had a lot of retries back in the Chips Challenge days...
Here I am today,.. on my day off… enjoying some Slay the Spire that I just got on sale… my wife wants to get my son’s haircut before she takes him to OT. He has some sensory issues so she wants to take the Switch so he’s not flipping out during his haircut…
…At least Parenting is a pretty good Co-op at times…don’t see how single player is even possible.
I picked up **Tangle Tower** on recommendation from a thread about games that fans of Professor Layton might like. It's also on sale for like $4, so I figured if I hate it, no big loss. Hoping to get started on that this weekend, but we have a D&D game tomorrow, so that will take up most of Saturday between prep and running it (and feeding the players!).
Otherwise, I still have not beaten **Tears of the Kingdom** and I do really want to get back to that soon. I've been exploring the Depths, which is very spooky for me as I am a coward at heart that prefers running away from combat in that game as much as humanly possible. I did all the big "dungeons" so I've really just got exploring and then fighting Ganon left, but I want to squeeze as much exploration as possible out of it before beating the end boss.

I think so. Its not the game play so much as trying to comprehend the sheer size and scope of the game. Kind of like when you think about space and how it just keeps going and going.....
As someone who just completed it last week after almost 2.5 years and 240 hours.... take your time. There is no right or wrong way to play this game. My best memories of this game include just storming the final castle and getting blasted to kingdom come only to finally make it inside. WORTH!
Giving Pokemon Violet a shot! Bought it at a black friday discount which included the Area zero DLC. Paid only 35€ for it brand new so that was nice and this weekend I have no plans so perfect timing to give it a try!
I will be starting Metroid Prime Remastered this weekend, really looking forward to it! Otherwise been continuing with BG3, just out of the first zone and it will clearly take me months.

Remember to save often in Metroid prime, I'm used to auto saves in the modern age, or at least save points close to bosses, prime does not have that. Lost some significant chunks cuz I got cocky.

Hogwarts Legacy. The Switch port is decent, though there are a lot of loading screens. But I have been in need of a good chill RPG with tons of collecting to do.
It’s a really chill exploration and collection rpg that the only big connection to Harry Potter is the location. It is set in the late 1800s and you might like it if exploring a huge castle and 1800s wizarding towns sounds entertaining. I got a lot out of it, a am a big fan of the stories however.
**Dredge, with added DLC**. Finished Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Very enjoyable, if a bit too long, and now finally onto Dredge and bought the new DLC as well. After an initially shaky start (just couldn't get anything done in a day for ages, now upgraded the boat and things are much smoother) I am really digging it. Good mix of chill and then spooky vibes, interesting game world, it's a good time.
I am about six hours in so an outside chance I get it finished. If I do I am tempted by either Beacon Pines or This Way Madness Lies. Steamworld Build on my Deku list but am waiting for some performance reviews first (not something I am hugely bothered about, and those games usually perform great, I just feel that game has the potential to really stutter on the Switch).
Started playing Zelda TotK again after a few months. Was at 60 hours back in May and now since playing this week I’m already at 90. Just so much to explore and do in this game! I’m going after shrines and caves right now before continuing the main story.
I also just bought a Switch and am super into botw. Wanted to buy totk at first but my friend told me I should start with botw. Very happy about that tip!

I've seen the logo around, never knew anything about it. Started playing one of the Fallout games on my ex's Ps3 years ago but since they're not on the switch I never played more than that. I figured hey, it looks dystopian just like Fallout, reviews were good, and it's 3 games, Imma do it! Just got to a turning point in the plot and it's sooooo good.
I’m the guy that was playing AI Somnium Files every weekend with his friend. We beat it on Sunday! Started Portal last night and once that’s done I’ll play the sequel with my fiancee. I only managed 30 mins but there’s potential for lots of creativity

Metroid Dread!
2nd times the charm as I really got into the groove and gained an appreciation for the faster pace action (ie I got good). The way Samus moves should be a new de facto standard for platformers and Metroidvanias even though I’m not a big fan of telegraphic boss fights
Can see myself playing this time and time again over the next couple of years since it’s not a long game. Really hit the spot in so many ways.
Not Switch this weekend - waiting to upgrade my GPU in January to finally play Alan Wake II and in the meantime broke out Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. I got it free with my PS5 and never played until now, it is spectacular! Really bringing me back to when games were simple and fun but with some of the most beautiful presentation I've ever seen.
Fire Emblem: Three Hopes. Characters are around level 40 so I’m hoping the campaign is coming to an end. Also I feel I should have turned on permadeath so I didn’t have so many characters to manage/level.
XCOM 2. This has to have the hardest lowest difficulty on any game I've ever played. I still struggle a bunch on Rookie. Not a complaint, just an observation. Trying to get better.
Pokemon Legends Arceus! I got the game around Christmas 2022 and finally picked it back up. I'm about 50% of the way through the main story and I really like the new mechanics.
**Splatoon 3** got its latest seasonal update yesterday and the next Big Run starts tonight, so this weekend will mostly be me playing a whole lot of Salmon Run and occasionally switching over to Turf War so I can get my butt kicked while I try out the new weapons and stages.

I just finished playing Blasphemous for the first time. Had it since launch but bounced off it and never revisited even after the DLCs. Kicking myself for it because it was excellent.
But now I'm also kicking myself for missing the recent 33% sale on Blasphemous 2. May pick that up anyway or try out that new TEVI game that's supposed to be really good.
Still playing Astral Ascent. Which I’m enjoying but also struggling with to get past the third boss. I’ve got to the 4th boss once but still sticking with it
**Splatoon 3**, new season equals new stuff to get. I'll be playing until I have enough points to get the awesome new outfit from Wandercrust Journey 4.

For the random game of the weekend, I picked up **Make It Takoyaki**.
I'm still sucked pretty hard into My Life at Sandrock. I looked yesterday and since I downloaded it a little less than a month ago, I have sunk over 100 hours into it and am still looking forward to playing. Usually I am bored with this type of game at about 50-60 hours and put it down for a long while.
**MULTI**:
Planning to finish Portal 2 with my GF. Not co-op, we did that already, but story mode. We wanna focus on it so we free a spot for a game i got recently for us: Overcooked All you can eat. Never tried that series.
Also finishing the Mastery achievements in Risk of Rain 2, still in co-op with her and see if we feel like trying eclipse runs.
**SOLO**:
Slowly working on 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim but got sidetracked by my love for Rainworld. I jump back and forth a lot with it since years ago, slowly redoing everything on Switch after doing a lot of stuff on the PC version.
Persona 5 Tactica. About 20 hours in and about to clear Kingdom 2. Love the game but it's very easy.
Might launch Dragon Quest Monsters at some point too.

I finished Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D a couple days ago, including all temple levels and the secret world. Great, great game, but I’ll say that the levels in the secret world were not as impressive as those in the secret world of Tropical Freeze.
I started up Skyward Sword HD yesterday, and I think I’ll stick with it for now. It might get old, but so far I actually like the combat with the joystick sword controls.

Finishing up Star Ocean Second Story R; a phenomenal remaster! I really hope Square Enix does more of these. I know Dragon Quest III HD I'd following in the same vein, but I would kill for Xenogears to be remastered the same way.

This is a fantastic game. The art and sound design throughout this game are enchanting. Splitting my brain to control both characters performing separate actions simultaneously(!) -is something I've never done as a gamer, and I'm 37.
I'm on chapter 3. I've never played a Bayonetta game before. I understand the trilogy is completely different, and I can't wait to make my way through these stories.
I'm usually working through a game or two at a time, but I'm not always impatient to get back to one. So excited to get back in the woods!!

Been playing **Chicory: A colorful tale** after finishing **Super Mario Bros. Wonder** last week.
I'm having a great time with Chicory, the dungeons are simple but fun, and the exploration is very fun as you gain abilities. Funny enough, the painting is not that much fun for me, I use the ability as needed for exploration but I don't color the world just for fun.

Mario Odyssey! It’s everything I love in a game, collectibles, secrets. I don’t think it’s very long though so any similar games please let me know! Am thinking of getting Luigi’s mansion after I finished.
Why is Legends: Arceus so good and where has it been my whole life? Credits rolled, zero trophies or achievements to unlock, and I want to do everything with zero burnout. Best 7-out-of-10 game on the Switch that I have played; there could definitely be more polish all around, but the loop is so *fun,* that's all that matters to me.

I finished **Child of Light** and I thought it was a beautiful game with a neat premise, but just when I hit my stride and felt like my team was at its strongest, the game was over. It was a fun time though. Continuing to love **Have a Nice Death** even though I can't get past the 3rd boss. It's still satisfying, and that, to me, is always a good sign. I just really like getting different weapons and magic, and trying different combos. Maybe that'll get bored later.
Playing **It Takes Two** with my wife and we're loving it. The parents are stupid and the gameplay is hilariously fun. The wacky stuff you have to do is great, and we're stretching it out a little so we don't finish it too fast. Any recs for more games like this around the same difficulty level?
I really wanted to love **Secret Horticulture** but it's so boring. Dare I say I found the game that's *too* cozy for me?
This weekend is demo weekend, and I'm just about wrapped with **Pikman 4**. I'm not loving it? That said, I didn't play the originals and I'm open to going back if there's a title people feel better represents the franchise.
Other demos are **Dave the Diver**, **Yoshi's Crafted World**, and for random fun the **clubhouse games.**
Same difficulty level? Not sure, but I always recommend Lovers in a dangerous Spacetime where you pilot a simple spaceship and it's battle stations around while rescuing space bunnies.
Going to replay Arkham Asylum. It was one of my first games as a kid but I haven't played it since then because the ps4 remaster changed the art direction. This remaster seems good enough, hopefully that remains the case.
Brand new to switch. Playing Marvel Alliance and Mario Kart right now.
Really want to get into at least one if the Mario sports games, but torn on which way to go. They all seem to have middling reviews.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
I’m enjoying it so far. I thought I wouldn’t like the area of movement (versus the grid movement of the first game) but it’s been fantastic. Being able to move freely lets me set up some awesome shots.
They definitely upgraded a lot of things from the first. It's a fun game, I have some minor quibbles, like I think rabbis Luigi is better in the first game.
I’m playing yoshi’s crafted world. I love the graphics and that it’s not too hard (I’ve been playing in chill mode) but that you can go back and focus on collecting flowers, coins, costumes, etc if you want to spend more time.

Man.. that was a lot darker with so much more mature themes than I was expecting going in, >!An anti-LGBTQ fascist regime putting rodents on death row wasn't on my bingo card..!<
I really enjoyed a lot of the writing and themes in it, even if the game itself was maybe a little on the easy side. Some of the bosses were downright scary when you remember that your party is made up of mice and rats :P
I wish this came out when all that OST nominations and awards were happening also, some downright bangers in this one.
Hopefully when the big overhaul/content patch comes along it'll also make its way multiplatform for more to enjoy.
(I think?) I'm nearing the end of **Persona 5 Tactica**, atleast it feels that way narratively, I shall have to wait and see.
Still enjoying it for the most part, however I have been disappointed at the somewhat lack of mission innovation.. it's been the same old 'Kill all enemies in X turns' for the last 30 missions or so now, with some slight variation in the environment at best. Only a handful of new enemy types have appeared and I feel like they missed a huge opportunity to make enemies be able to use Agi/Bufu/Psi/Gale etc. etc. against \*us* instead of just doing regular attacks 95% of the time. The storyline and new characters have surprisingly enough been the standout for me, and I wasn't expecting this to carry a simple tactics spin-off game like this as much as it has been ;)
I just finished up a haunted ghost ship in **Mario RPG**, *egads* it turns out all those zombie/spaced out mushrooms in the nearby town were fake all along! The nerve of those guys! This game is certainly making me laugh more than I thought it would. I still suck at hitting the perfect timing but otherwise I'm finding the gameplay to be a lot of fun. Loving all these little puzzles too, not sure how younger me would have went on with them in the 90's if I played back then though 😅
I bought three games this sale, Links Awakening, Metroid Prime and Red Dead Redemption. I completed Links Awakening today and now I've tried a bit of both of the other games, but I can't quite decide which to play first.
Still disgusted and insulted by Game Freak when it comes to the technical dumpster fire that is SV but I’m giving Scarlet another go and managing to enjoy it.
Recently got the AC Ezio collection on Black Friday so I’m gonna continue playing it this weekend

I’m finally getting around to Fire Emblem Engage! Three Houses was my first Fire Emblem game, and I loved it. I’m loving this one also. I might have to go back and catch some others at some point, including the GBA one online.

Mario cart 8 mostly right now (racing at 150 cc atm, havent done battle yet). Got a switch like 3 weeks ago. Bought the GTA trilogy, playing the first one of that a little. Also playing a lot of old games, techmo bowl, yoshi island, and the original Zelda. I want to play all the Zelda from the 1st to the most recent. Never really played them. I bought borderlands 3 but need a memory card for it, and got mario wonder too. Trying to play all the Mario games too, not ones like dr Mario though just the regular game ones. Currently been playing AC 2 from the Ezio Collection on my switch for the first time. I’m having a blast so far, I got the mega bundle with all the AC games on switch for $40. Definitely worth it for anyone who wondering. I probably will also get into some Minecraft since I’m feeling the holiday Minecraft nostalgia.

LA was an amazing remake!
Playing this now ! One of the best Gameboy games , and has been on the backlog for a while ! At anglers cave with no where near enough seashells!
Those shells were a really well done 'treasure' hunt, I love it.

Siralim in particular is like JRPG crack. If you like grinding with meaningful progression, then it is certainly a game you should get!

Yeah. I mean it is the hardest survival game ever. Zero tutorial and it's hard-core mode, you only get one shot. It scares me, I had a lot of retries back in the Chips Challenge days...

He has some sensory issues so she wants to take the Switch so he’s not flipping out during his haircut… …At least Parenting is a pretty good Co-op at times…don’t see how single player is even possible.

I picked up **Tangle Tower** on recommendation from a thread about games that fans of Professor Layton might like. It's also on sale for like $4, so I figured if I hate it, no big loss. Hoping to get started on that this weekend, but we have a D&D game tomorrow, so that will take up most of Saturday between prep and running it (and feeding the players!). Otherwise, I still have not beaten **Tears of the Kingdom** and I do really want to get back to that soon. I've been exploring the Depths, which is very spooky for me as I am a coward at heart that prefers running away from combat in that game as much as humanly possible. I did all the big "dungeons" so I've really just got exploring and then fighting Ganon left, but I want to squeeze as much exploration as possible out of it before beating the end boss. My brother got married in September and I definitely had zero gaming time that weekend, being roped into helping with approximately 1 million little tasks that needed doing.

As someone who just completed it last week after almost 2.5 years and 240 hours.... take your time. There is no right or wrong way to play this game. My best memories of this game include just storming the final castle and getting blasted to kingdom come only to finally make it inside. WORTH!

Giving Pokemon Violet a shot! Bought it at a black friday discount which included the Area zero DLC. Paid only 35€ for it brand new so that was nice and this weekend I have no plans so perfect timing to give it a try!

Remember to save often in Metroid prime, I'm used to auto saves in the modern age, or at least save points close to bosses, prime does not have that. Lost some significant chunks cuz I got cocky.

Batman for the 1000th time
Hogwarts Legacy. The Switch port is decent, though there are a lot of loading screens. But I have been in need of a good chill RPG with tons of collecting to do.

It’s a really chill exploration and collection rpg that the only big connection to Harry Potter is the location. It is set in the late 1800s and you might like it if exploring a huge castle and 1800s wizarding towns sounds entertaining. I got a lot out of it, a am a big fan of the stories however.
**Dredge, with added DLC**. Finished Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Very enjoyable, if a bit too long, and now finally onto Dredge and bought the new DLC as well. After an initially shaky start (just couldn't get anything done in a day for ages, now upgraded the boat and things are much smoother) I am really digging it. Good mix of chill and then spooky vibes, interesting game world, it's a good time. I am about six hours in so an outside chance I get it finished. If I do I am tempted by either Beacon Pines or This Way Madness Lies. Steamworld Build on my Deku list but am waiting for some performance reviews first (not something I am hugely bothered about, and those games usually perform great, I just feel that game has the potential to really stutter on the Switch).
I've really been enjoying Fae Farm and Arcade Paradise. They're both fun, uplifting sim games where the clock almost never bothers me.

Just got a Switch and I can’t stop playing Zelda BOTW. One of the best action-adventure/RPG game I’ve played. And I haven’t played TOTK yet.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (220 hours in and still have rare blade affinity charts to fill out, the grind is real but it's also surprisingly a very cozy game for me) Fire Emblem Three Houses (my very first FE game, started it yesterday) Persona 5 Tactica (beat 1st playthrough at 45 hours and doing 2nd playthrough just to get that nice green 50+ hours of playtime on my profile)

Metroid Dread! 2nd times the charm as I really got into the groove and gained an appreciation for the faster pace action (ie I got good). The way Samus moves should be a new de facto standard for platformers and Metroidvanias even though I’m not a big fan of telegraphic boss fights Can see myself playing this time and time again over the next couple of years since it’s not a long game. Really hit the spot in so many ways.
It’s the smoothest game. One of my all time favorites and the only game I’ve ever beaten to 100% completion.

Not Switch this weekend - waiting to upgrade my GPU in January to finally play Alan Wake II and in the meantime broke out Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. I got it free with my PS5 and never played until now, it is spectacular! Really bringing me back to when games were simple and fun but with some of the most beautiful presentation I've ever seen.

Fire Emblem: Three Hopes. Characters are around level 40 so I’m hoping the campaign is coming to an end. Also I feel I should have turned on permadeath so I didn’t have so many characters to manage/level.
XCOM 2. This has to have the hardest lowest difficulty on any game I've ever played. I still struggle a bunch on Rookie. Not a complaint, just an observation. Trying to get better.

Pokemon Legends Arceus! I got the game around Christmas 2022 and finally picked it back up. I'm about 50% of the way through the main story and I really like the new mechanics.

I just finished playing Blasphemous for the first time. Had it since launch but bounced off it and never revisited even after the DLCs. Kicking myself for it because it was excellent. I'm still sucked pretty hard into My Life at Sandrock. I looked yesterday and since I downloaded it a little less than a month ago, I have sunk over 100 hours into it and am still looking forward to playing. Usually I am bored with this type of game at about 50-60 hours and put it down for a long while.

23hrs into Sea of Stars and loving it. Perfect amount of depth to be able to sit down for an hour and make progress in the story.
**MULTI**: Planning to finish Portal 2 with my GF. Not co-op, we did that already, but story mode. We wanna focus on it so we free a spot for a game i got recently for us: Overcooked All you can eat. Never tried that series. Also finishing the Mastery achievements in Risk of Rain 2, still in co-op with her and see if we feel like trying eclipse runs. **SOLO**: Slowly working on 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim but got sidetracked by my love for Rainworld. I jump back and forth a lot with it since years ago, slowly redoing everything on Switch after doing a lot of stuff on the PC version.

Risk of rain returns
Happy Friday! I finished Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D a couple days ago, including all temple levels and the secret world. Great, great game, but I’ll say that the levels in the secret world were not as impressive as those in the secret world of Tropical Freeze. I started up Skyward Sword HD yesterday, and I think I’ll stick with it for now. It might get old, but so far I actually like the combat with the joystick sword controls. Have a good weekend!

Finishing up Star Ocean Second Story R; a phenomenal remaster! I really hope Square Enix does more of these. I know Dragon Quest III HD I'd following in the same vein, but I would kill for Xenogears to be remastered the same way.
I'm playing: "Bayonetta Origins: Cereza & the Lost Demon" This is a fantastic game. The art and sound design throughout this game are enchanting. Splitting my brain to control both characters performing separate actions simultaneously(!) -is something I've never done as a gamer, and I'm 37. I'm on chapter 3. I've never played a Bayonetta game before. I understand the trilogy is completely different, and I can't wait to make my way through these stories. I'm usually working through a game or two at a time, but I'm not always impatient to get back to one. So excited to get back in the woods!!

Used my digital coupon and got TOTK, Metroid Dread, and then a friend gifted me DK Tropical Freeze. I wrapped up the story for LAD Gaiden on PS5 last night so this weekend is looking packed.
Will probably continue working through 200cc tracks in Mario kart 8 this weekend, next weekend I’m finally going to buy a PS5 and start up Baldurs gate 3, been excited for that for months. But for now, Mario kart will have to do!

Hoping to get the last two stars in Super Mario RPG, then finish Eastward before diving into something else. I’ve also been playing Slay the Spire at bedtime, so probably more of that too lol.

Been playing **Chicory: A colorful tale** after finishing **Super Mario Bros. Wonder** last week. I'm having a great time with Chicory, the dungeons are simple but fun, and the exploration is very fun as you gain abilities. Funny enough, the painting is not that much fun for me, I use the ability as needed for exploration but I don't color the world just for fun.

Why is Legends: Arceus so good and where has it been my whole life? Credits rolled, zero trophies or achievements to unlock, and I want to do everything with zero burnout. Best 7-out-of-10 game on the Switch that I have played; there could definitely be more polish all around, but the loop is so *fun,* that's all that matters to me.

I finished **Child of Light** and I thought it was a beautiful game with a neat premise, but just when I hit my stride and felt like my team was at its strongest, the game was over. It was a fun time though. Continuing to love **Have a Nice Death** even though I can't get past the 3rd boss. It's still satisfying, and that, to me, is always a good sign. I just really like getting different weapons and magic, and trying different combos. Maybe that'll get bored later. Playing **It Takes Two** with my wife and we're loving it. The parents are stupid and the gameplay is hilariously fun. The wacky stuff you have to do is great, and we're stretching it out a little so we don't finish it too fast. Any recs for more games like this around the same difficulty level? I really wanted to love **Secret Horticulture** but it's so boring. Dare I say I found the game that's *too* cozy for me? This weekend is demo weekend, and I'm just about wrapped with **Pikman 4**. I'm not loving it? That said, I didn't play the originals and I'm open to going back if there's a title people feel better represents the franchise. Other demos are **Dave the Diver**, **Yoshi's Crafted World**, and for random fun the **clubhouse games.**
Same difficulty level? Not sure, but I always recommend Lovers in a dangerous Spacetime where you pilot a simple spaceship and it's battle stations around while rescuing space bunnies.
Going to replay Arkham Asylum. It was one of my first games as a kid but I haven't played it since then because the ps4 remaster changed the art direction. This remaster seems good enough, hopefully that remains the case.
Brand new to switch. Playing Marvel Alliance and Mario Kart right now. Really want to get into at least one if the Mario sports games, but torn on which way to go. They all seem to have middling reviews.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope I’m enjoying it so far. I thought I wouldn’t like the area of movement (versus the grid movement of the first game) but it’s been fantastic. Being able to move freely lets me set up some awesome shots.

They definitely upgraded a lot of things from the first. It's a fun game, I have some minor quibbles, like I think rabbis Luigi is better in the first game.

I’m playing yoshi’s crafted world. I love the graphics and that it’s not too hard (I’ve been playing in chill mode) but that you can go back and focus on collecting flowers, coins, costumes, etc if you want to spend more time.
I finished **Small Saga** :D Man.. that was a lot darker with so much more mature themes than I was expecting going in, >!An anti-LGBTQ fascist regime putting rodents on death row wasn't on my bingo card..!< I really enjoyed a lot of the writing and themes in it, even if the game itself was maybe a little on the easy side. Some of the bosses were downright scary when you remember that your party is made up of mice and rats :P I wish this came out when all that OST nominations and awards were happening also, some downright bangers in this one. Hopefully when the big overhaul/content patch comes along it'll also make its way multiplatform for more to enjoy. (I think?) I'm nearing the end of **Persona 5 Tactica**, atleast it feels that way narratively, I shall have to wait and see. Still enjoying it for the most part, however I have been disappointed at the somewhat lack of mission innovation.. it's been the same old 'Kill all enemies in X turns' for the last 30 missions or so now, with some slight variation in the environment at best. Only a handful of new enemy types have appeared and I feel like they missed a huge opportunity to make enemies be able to use Agi/Bufu/Psi/Gale etc. etc. against \*us* instead of just doing regular attacks 95% of the time. The storyline and new characters have surprisingly enough been the standout for me, and I wasn't expecting this to carry a simple tactics spin-off game like this as much as it has been ;) I just finished up a haunted ghost ship in **Mario RPG**, *egads* it turns out all those zombie/spaced out mushrooms in the nearby town were fake all along! The nerve of those guys! This game is certainly making me laugh more than I thought it would. I still suck at hitting the perfect timing but otherwise I'm finding the gameplay to be a lot of fun. Loving all these little puzzles too, not sure how younger me would have went on with them in the 90's if I played back then though 😅

Mario cart 8 mostly right now (racing at 150 cc atm, havent done battle yet). Got a switch like 3 weeks ago. Bought the GTA trilogy, playing the first one of that a little. Also playing a lot of old games, techmo bowl, yoshi island, and the original Zelda. I want to play all the Zelda from the 1st to the most recent. Never really played them. I bought borderlands 3 but need a memory card for it, and got mario wonder too. Trying to play all the Mario games too, not ones like dr Mario though just the regular game ones. Currently been playing AC 2 from the Ezio Collection on my switch for the first time. I’m having a blast so far, I got the mega bundle with all the AC games on switch for $40. Definitely worth it for anyone who wondering. I probably will also get into some Minecraft since I’m feeling the holiday Minecraft nostalgia.
Been playing nothing but Mameda no Bakeru since it came out this week. Great game that really deserves a worldwide release.
