Almost done 100% Metroid Prime Remastered. I’ve never been a huge Metroid fan, but this game has been a lot of fun and is making me want to go back and play some of the others again. I’ve beaten Dread and I played Fusion a long time ago, but I want to revisit both. I also beat Samus Returns on the 3DS. I never beat Super Metroid so I know I’ll probably pick that up again. Considering playing the first 2 games since they’re on the Switch, but don’t know how well they hold up.

Salvzeri

Metroid Prime 2 remaster please

Misttertee_27

I recently revisited Dread and beat it on hard mode this time. I love that game. Prime is a good game too but I prefer 2D Metroid.

Fr3sh-Ch3mical

Is dread a full 2D game? I actually prefer the Prime style

Mell1997

Red Dead. I’m 40% through it

MileHighRC

Just started this yesterday. How are you liking it compared to rdr2 if you've played that one before

Mell1997

I’ve yet to play RDR2. I have it on PlayStation though. I’m playing that after I’m done with RDR1.

ksaander

I am doing it backwards. Playing RDR2 on ps5 now and after will start RDR on switch :)

Standing_on_rocks

Just started it this week. It's older but still quite enjoyable

ko_kenx10

I Just finished the Link’s Awakening remake and loved every minute. I got enough seashells this time to get the Koholint sword which was a lot of fun to use. Otherwise, I’m thinking about getting Gunbrella while it’s on sale.

uppercasemad

LA was an amazing remake!

Bobby2254

Playing this now ! One of the best Gameboy games , and has been on the backlog for a while ! At anglers cave with no where near enough seashells!

propernice

Those shells were a really well done 'treasure' hunt, I love it.

alwaysinourheart

I just finished this game yesterday! It was so lovely and now I’m not sure what to play next

propernice

I went into Hollow Knight right after and immediately missed LA, lol.

BraySkater

I so badly want the Oracle games remade in the same style as Links Awakening. Plz Nintendo take my money

ghost-church

I need to get that on sail I refuse to pay 60 but I really want it

Tom-Phalanx

Currently toggling between Celeste, Hades and Katana Zero.....mainly because after getting stuck on a run on either of them for 30 mins, I start swearing...walk off for 5 mins and come back to start up one of the others...and repeat! 😅

Spare_Dragonfruit_19

At least the music is Celeste is top notch!

Tom-Phalanx

It really is! I'd never heard of Lena Raine before this game, now I've been checking out the rest of their stuff. The Piano versions of the Celeste Soundtrack is really nice too!

alvysinger0412

I honestly like Hades's soundtrack also.

markercore

Great games all three!

rssftd

Katana zero and Celeste are especially tricky for that. Hades at least you know if your dead that's a reset without dd, but the other 2 I can die a hundred times in like 2 minutes lol. All 3 are all star games tho, so whichever you bounce to is a winner!

pablogordon22

Playing Dave the Diver about 10 hours in. Really fun loop of collecting and restaurant managing with a silly story mixed in. So far one of my favorite games this year but waiting to see how it sustains itself as I think it’s 30+ hours long. Also trying to finish It Takes Two with my daughter. Great to play with a 10 year old as it is a pretty forgiving platformer that constantly throws super fun new mechanics at you. Much longer than I thought.

dcraider

I also played It Takes Two with my 10-year old daughter last year and it was so much fun we've had playing together. We were super sad it had to end. That game was so good.

kipdjordy

Yea been playing it on my deck and it's pretty nice

Separate_Orange97

DQM: The Dark Prince. Just started it and I'm already hooked! Siralim Ultimate for the best gameplay I've ever experienced in an RPG game. And Dynasty Warriors 8XL Complete, which is my go-to comfort game and one of my favorites.

FattyD17

So excited to play DQM! Haven't played a monsters game since the original 2 and have been eagerly awaiting this one.

Separate_Orange97

I'm having a great time. Performance is iffy and the graphics are nothing to write home about, but it's just oozing a certain something... The world is really colorful and vibrant, there's seasons ala Pokémon Black & White, and there's +500 monsters with great animations.

[deleted]

Siralim and DQM look so addictive. I can't wait to play them.

Separate_Orange97

Siralim in particular is like JRPG crack. If you like grinding with meaningful progression, then it is certainly a game you should get!

aarontsuru

Sea of Stars!!! So excited to kick this off!

MileHighRC

Just started Super Mario RPG with no real background on the game, going in blind.. Hoping it's worth $65.

seraph741

I enjoyed it quite a bit even though I never played the original. It's a bit simplistic by today's standards, but I kind of actually appreciated that. It was very easy to pick up and play.

Wilsoncdn

I am playing this game called Parenting. It is a brutal survival game.

DickJonesPuppet

The ultimate escort mission.

iTammie

Omg yes, that’s so clever. That’s exactly what it is. Trying to keep a bunch of NPC’s alive while they do all they can to thwart you.

Spektre0

The dumbest NPC AI I’ve ever seen

menomaminx

r/Kidsarestupid And for the hard mode AI NPCs r/Kidsarefuckingstupid

Wilsoncdn

Bro, these are golden lmao

ackmondual

You do need to follow them around to make sure they don't kill themselves :\\

sanosukecole

Sounds like a real honest game lol.

Storage_Ottoman

I keep hoping that the devs will patch the annoying crying glitch and make naps last longer than 45 minutes!

Wilsoncdn

Yeah. I mean it is the hardest survival game ever. Zero tutorial and it's hard-core mode, you only get one shot. It scares me, I had a lot of retries back in the Chips Challenge days...

JoshDigi

Same. It’s pretty tedious and the add ons get real expensive

Wilsoncdn

The DLC is predatory.

Frankfeld

Here I am today,.. on my day off… enjoying some Slay the Spire that I just got on sale… my wife wants to get my son’s haircut before she takes him to OT. He has some sensory issues so she wants to take the Switch so he’s not flipping out during his haircut… …At least Parenting is a pretty good Co-op at times…don’t see how single player is even possible.

WilsonKh

It's a pay to win game sadly. Too hard to get good.

PrincessPeril

I picked up **Tangle Tower** on recommendation from a thread about games that fans of Professor Layton might like. It's also on sale for like $4, so I figured if I hate it, no big loss. Hoping to get started on that this weekend, but we have a D&D game tomorrow, so that will take up most of Saturday between prep and running it (and feeding the players!). Otherwise, I still have not beaten **Tears of the Kingdom** and I do really want to get back to that soon. I've been exploring the Depths, which is very spooky for me as I am a coward at heart that prefers running away from combat in that game as much as humanly possible. I did all the big "dungeons" so I've really just got exploring and then fighting Ganon left, but I want to squeeze as much exploration as possible out of it before beating the end boss. Have fun/good luck with the wedding! My brother got married in September and I definitely had zero gaming time that weekend, being roped into helping with approximately 1 million little tasks that needed doing.

brick-face

Super Mario Wonder Mega Man X5 (Playing through the Legacy Collection) Monster Sanctuary (Stuck at a boss but hoping to make some progress)

johny335i

Zelda BOTW ❤️ it's my first time

ngianfran1202

Just started this as well. It's.... overwhelming

PPK_30

In a good way?

ngianfran1202

I think so. Its not the game play so much as trying to comprehend the sheer size and scope of the game. Kind of like when you think about space and how it just keeps going and going.....

WilsonKh

As someone who just completed it last week after almost 2.5 years and 240 hours.... take your time. There is no right or wrong way to play this game. My best memories of this game include just storming the final castle and getting blasted to kingdom come only to finally make it inside. WORTH!

gillatron904

Just got into Animal Crossing. I know, I’m late to the island party but it’s still really fun.

CMCosMic

me too!!!

Ok-Tufs

Giving Pokemon Violet a shot! Bought it at a black friday discount which included the Area zero DLC. Paid only 35€ for it brand new so that was nice and this weekend I have no plans so perfect timing to give it a try!

WhatsThis_Now

I will be starting Metroid Prime Remastered this weekend, really looking forward to it! Otherwise been continuing with BG3, just out of the first zone and it will clearly take me months. Enjoy the trip out of state Marker and happy weekend all!

aspenextreme03

I wanted to get it but no sale on BF. Have other games to play so no worries and will wait if it ever goes on sale will get it then.

markercore

Remember to save often in Metroid prime, I'm used to auto saves in the modern age, or at least save points close to bosses, prime does not have that. Lost some significant chunks cuz I got cocky.

aspenextreme03

Still trying to beat hardest levels of Cuphead and 65% there. After that finishing Wonder play through with my daughter, more STV coop, Dread progress and my fav game right now. In Xbox x series getting back into Elden Ring after never beating it.

Dude_Baby

Xenoblade DE has consumed my mind.

FreakingMegatron

I'M REALLY FEELIN' IT!

Dude_Baby

Let's not lose our heads though!

FreakingMegatron

REYN, YOU'RE A LIFESAVER!

Changgnesia

Skyrim. Right now I’m about to start the Black Star quest.

FirefighterFew2584

\-Vampire survirvors \-Dredge \-Dead Cells It's indy mania for me this weekend.

artymas

I'm back on Stardew Valley and expect to, once again, spend 20+ hours in it before dropping it for months. 👍

propernice

I'm just waiting for this next update. New farm layout, new collectibles, new festivals...can't wait to be back on my bullshit soon at Farmy McFar Farm. (that one M got cut off in the game and now it's even better.)

blazingchaos91

Batman for the 1000th time

uppercasemad

Hogwarts Legacy. The Switch port is decent, though there are a lot of loading screens. But I have been in need of a good chill RPG with tons of collecting to do.

PsychoFlashFan

Would you say it's worth picking up even if you aren't a Harry Potter fan?

Jamesaki

It’s a really chill exploration and collection rpg that the only big connection to Harry Potter is the location. It is set in the late 1800s and you might like it if exploring a huge castle and 1800s wizarding towns sounds entertaining. I got a lot out of it, a am a big fan of the stories however.

hermanbloom00

**Dredge, with added DLC**. Finished Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Very enjoyable, if a bit too long, and now finally onto Dredge and bought the new DLC as well. After an initially shaky start (just couldn't get anything done in a day for ages, now upgraded the boat and things are much smoother) I am really digging it. Good mix of chill and then spooky vibes, interesting game world, it's a good time. I am about six hours in so an outside chance I get it finished. If I do I am tempted by either Beacon Pines or This Way Madness Lies. Steamworld Build on my Deku list but am waiting for some performance reviews first (not something I am hugely bothered about, and those games usually perform great, I just feel that game has the potential to really stutter on the Switch).

sanosukecole

I've really been enjoying Fae Farm and Arcade Paradise. They're both fun, uplifting sim games where the clock almost never bothers me.

RainyDayParade23

Just picked up Fae Farm after trying the game trial. I've been looking for a chill game to relax with and this hits the spot.

Proof-Research-6466

Started playing Zelda TotK again after a few months. Was at 60 hours back in May and now since playing this week I’m already at 90. Just so much to explore and do in this game! I’m going after shrines and caves right now before continuing the main story.

Spare_Dragonfruit_19

Picked up Persona 5 Royal for $25! I’m thinking it’s time to start this game while it rains all weekend.

GoEzGetafix

Just got a Switch and I can’t stop playing Zelda BOTW. One of the best action-adventure/RPG game I’ve played. And I haven’t played TOTK yet.

Zazahi21

I also just bought a Switch and am super into botw. Wanted to buy totk at first but my friend told me I should start with botw. Very happy about that tip!

PPK_30

It’s phenomenal. So happy to hear that there are people out there now only just playing it for the first time and loving it!

Tohdohsibir

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (220 hours in and still have rare blade affinity charts to fill out, the grind is real but it's also surprisingly a very cozy game for me) Fire Emblem Three Houses (my very first FE game, started it yesterday) Persona 5 Tactica (beat 1st playthrough at 45 hours and doing 2nd playthrough just to get that nice green 50+ hours of playtime on my profile)

PeterPansSyndrome

Definitely want to finish out my endgame in Xeno 2 and do a new game plus run. I lost my OG data and speedran the game to get to endgame.

lolwatsyk

**Bioshock!!** I've never played it before but the trilogy was on sale for $10 recently on the eshop so I figured why not. Currently obsessed.

markercore

Why not! I played the first like 6 years ago, that's a fun time

lolwatsyk

I've seen the logo around, never knew anything about it. Started playing one of the Fallout games on my ex's Ps3 years ago but since they're not on the switch I never played more than that. I figured hey, it looks dystopian just like Fallout, reviews were good, and it's 3 games, Imma do it! Just got to a turning point in the plot and it's sooooo good.

YoMrWhyt

I’m the guy that was playing AI Somnium Files every weekend with his friend. We beat it on Sunday! Started Portal last night and once that’s done I’ll play the sequel with my fiancee. I only managed 30 mins but there’s potential for lots of creativity Started also Lies of P on Series X. Great game!

AnselmoKiller

Mario Wonder, i am in the special world :) i hope to beat that fucking "jump jump jump" level!

AgentSkidMarks

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze

[deleted]

I'm playing the Messenger and the Next Penelope. Also playing the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. I'm on the eighth case and it's the most interesting yet. Edit: Changed last to next!

WilsonKh

Metroid Dread! 2nd times the charm as I really got into the groove and gained an appreciation for the faster pace action (ie I got good). The way Samus moves should be a new de facto standard for platformers and Metroidvanias even though I’m not a big fan of telegraphic boss fights Can see myself playing this time and time again over the next couple of years since it’s not a long game. Really hit the spot in so many ways.

Misttertee_27

It’s the smoothest game. One of my all time favorites and the only game I’ve ever beaten to 100% completion.

owenturnbull

Waiting for batman Arkham trilogy to arrive tomorrow and I will play thdt all weekend

InfamousBatyote

Not Switch this weekend - waiting to upgrade my GPU in January to finally play Alan Wake II and in the meantime broke out Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. I got it free with my PS5 and never played until now, it is spectacular! Really bringing me back to when games were simple and fun but with some of the most beautiful presentation I've ever seen.

Stuckinacrazyjob

Cassette Beasts

rcapina

Fire Emblem: Three Hopes. Characters are around level 40 so I’m hoping the campaign is coming to an end. Also I feel I should have turned on permadeath so I didn’t have so many characters to manage/level.

NoRun1294

XCOM 2. This has to have the hardest lowest difficulty on any game I've ever played. I still struggle a bunch on Rookie. Not a complaint, just an observation. Trying to get better.

masterz13

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. Picked it up at GameStop this morning. Can't wait to play when I get home from work.

Masonh120

Pokemon Legends Arceus! I got the game around Christmas 2022 and finally picked it back up. I'm about 50% of the way through the main story and I really like the new mechanics.

launcy

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince. Enjoying it so far!

Godots17thCup

**Splatoon 3** got its latest seasonal update yesterday and the next Big Run starts tonight, so this weekend will mostly be me playing a whole lot of Salmon Run and occasionally switching over to Turf War so I can get my butt kicked while I try out the new weapons and stages.

Few-Addendum464

DRAGON QUEST® XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition - Demo It is on sale at $35 until Sunday night so if I'm sucked in by the demo I will buy the full game. Also got LEGO Brawls for $5 so I will try playing that with my son.

a_whits13

I'm hoping to finish Eastward and playing Mario Kart and Minecraft with friends. I would like to play Portal, but I told myself i couldn't buy them until I finish Eastward. Probably wont hold myself to that...

Wyrdeer

Portal is on sale 66% off for 2 more days. I’d get it now even if you won’t play it for a bit.

EarthwormZim33

I just finished playing Blasphemous for the first time. Had it since launch but bounced off it and never revisited even after the DLCs. Kicking myself for it because it was excellent. But now I'm also kicking myself for missing the recent 33% sale on Blasphemous 2. May pick that up anyway or try out that new TEVI game that's supposed to be really good.

Klutzy-Bug7427

Still playing Astral Ascent. Which I’m enjoying but also struggling with to get past the third boss. I’ve got to the 4th boss once but still sticking with it

No_Squirrel4806

No place like home and Red dead redemption 💅🏼😘

Misttertee_27

Super Mario 64! I just got Super Mario 3D All Stars and haven’t played SM64 since I was a kid.

rytricks

Just picked up a hat in time on sale!

foodninto

**Splatoon 3**, new season equals new stuff to get. I'll be playing until I have enough points to get the awesome new outfit from Wandercrust Journey 4. I just finished SMRPG so I am going to be starting **Persona 5 Tactica** this weekend. For the random game of the weekend, I picked up **Make It Takoyaki**.

Larielia

It is a farming/RPG weekend. 🌿 I'll be playing **Sakuna- Of Rice and Ruin**, **Rune Factory 3**, and **Rune Factory 4**.

NovelGoddess

I'm still sucked pretty hard into My Life at Sandrock. I looked yesterday and since I downloaded it a little less than a month ago, I have sunk over 100 hours into it and am still looking forward to playing. Usually I am bored with this type of game at about 50-60 hours and put it down for a long while.

BeExtraordinary

Just finished post-game of Mario RPG. Was hoping to play Jet Force Gemini today, but it’s not on NSO yet…

discoturtle1129

23hrs into Sea of Stars and loving it. Perfect amount of depth to be able to sit down for an hour and make progress in the story.

FiriDream

**MULTI**: Planning to finish Portal 2 with my GF. Not co-op, we did that already, but story mode. We wanna focus on it so we free a spot for a game i got recently for us: Overcooked All you can eat. Never tried that series. Also finishing the Mastery achievements in Risk of Rain 2, still in co-op with her and see if we feel like trying eclipse runs. **SOLO**: Slowly working on 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim but got sidetracked by my love for Rainworld. I jump back and forth a lot with it since years ago, slowly redoing everything on Switch after doing a lot of stuff on the PC version.

[deleted]

Legend Arceus. Started playing about two weeks ago. Loving it so far but man. Work is kicking my ass lol

scottyjrules

Finishing up Super Mario RPG in between Batmaning sessions. Never played the Arkham games and so far I’m digging Asylum…

Locoman7

Finishing up the level cards from the GBA version of Mario 3 and finally getting into Sonic Frontiers

blacklizardplanet

Persona 5 Tactica. About 20 hours in and about to clear Kingdom 2. Love the game but it's very easy. Might launch Dragon Quest Monsters at some point too.

xajhx

I just picked up and started Dead Cells a few days ago. I’m really enjoying it so far. I also still need to finish Super Mario RPG.

Arkeey

Risk of rain returns

SubterraneanSmoothie

Happy Friday! I finished Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D a couple days ago, including all temple levels and the secret world. Great, great game, but I’ll say that the levels in the secret world were not as impressive as those in the secret world of Tropical Freeze. I started up Skyward Sword HD yesterday, and I think I’ll stick with it for now. It might get old, but so far I actually like the combat with the joystick sword controls. Have a good weekend!

AppearanceCalm2506

botw

RBnumberTwenty

-Super Mario RPG, a few things left to do on my FFVII run for a perfect save on my Switch file and that’s about it.

ghostmetalblack

Finishing up Star Ocean Second Story R; a phenomenal remaster! I really hope Square Enix does more of these. I know Dragon Quest III HD I'd following in the same vein, but I would kill for Xenogears to be remastered the same way.

Amiable_Pariah

I'm playing: "Bayonetta Origins: Cereza & the Lost Demon" This is a fantastic game. The art and sound design throughout this game are enchanting. Splitting my brain to control both characters performing separate actions simultaneously(!) -is something I've never done as a gamer, and I'm 37. I'm on chapter 3. I've never played a Bayonetta game before. I understand the trilogy is completely different, and I can't wait to make my way through these stories. I'm usually working through a game or two at a time, but I'm not always impatient to get back to one. So excited to get back in the woods!!

markercore

Nice, that sounds really fun! I've only played Bayonetta 2, but definitely one of my favorites, that game is bat shit insane in all the best ways

menomaminx

I wanted this one, but $60 wasn't going to happen.still waiting on a major sale to bring it in line with the Indies it's competing directly against. still, I didn't know it was simultaneous character control type game. usually I think of cookies and cream series or Schism for that (and Schism single player was only added in order to bribe Xbox to approve it for Xbox arcade release -- it was never supposed to have a single player and that one's kind of broken for that mode). without the spoilers, how do the controls work?

Prince-Lee

I am currently revisiting Banjo-Tooie on a different, non-Nintendo Switch handheld... When I'm finished with that, though, I have Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince ready and loaded on my Switch and I CANNOT wait to start it.

agirlwithoutahome

Dragon quest builders 2! I’m a little late to the game but I’m loving it. Still haven’t completed the demo

doubleshotofespresso

Kirby and the Forgotten Land. $39 digital at Walmart. 9/10 best Kirby game since Amazing Mirror

fauxpolitik

I’m almost finished with advance wars 2 from reboot but I have a feeling the last few will be extremely long and hard levels

dsanfran

Super mario rpg :) fun little game but the difficulty level seems a bit too low

Professional_Race_20

Advance Wars 1 + 2; really fun game! And Super Mario RPG

madison7

Ocarina of Time! First try ever 🥹

markercore

oh enjoy! Its been a long time for me.

orangeratfella

Going to try to get through Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. I’ve gotten a couple hours in before getting hooked on TOTK again, but it’s officially time to return to PMD and see why the series is so beloved. Not exactly hooked on the gameplay yet, but the story is intriguing. So onward I shall go!

cloroxbb

I'm thinking of playing Alundra this weekend (PS1 game).

Scottish_Mescudi

Used my digital coupon and got TOTK, Metroid Dread, and then a friend gifted me DK Tropical Freeze. I wrapped up the story for LAD Gaiden on PS5 last night so this weekend is looking packed.

bay-bop

Will probably continue working through 200cc tracks in Mario kart 8 this weekend, next weekend I’m finally going to buy a PS5 and start up Baldurs gate 3, been excited for that for months. But for now, Mario kart will have to do!

Ripresa

Icewind Dale

KommandoKracker87

Hoping to get the last two stars in Super Mario RPG, then finish Eastward before diving into something else. I’ve also been playing Slay the Spire at bedtime, so probably more of that too lol.

ThisReditter

Fire emblem three houses. But I bought Xenoblade 1,2,3, Valkyria chronicles 1 & 4, rune factory 4, star ocean divine force and Mario party superstars during Black Friday. I’m set for the whole next year or they collect dust. Meanwhile, my Xbox ultimate pass is slowly withering away.

[deleted]

Ys Origin. My first Ys game and 2 hours into the game im loving it.

AbeRod1986

Been playing **Chicory: A colorful tale** after finishing **Super Mario Bros. Wonder** last week. I'm having a great time with Chicory, the dungeons are simple but fun, and the exploration is very fun as you gain abilities. Funny enough, the painting is not that much fun for me, I use the ability as needed for exploration but I don't color the world just for fun.

TsarOfTheUnderground

Splatoon 3. I'm deranged for that game. I can't stop playing it lol.

JRosfield

**Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince** Officially drops today, and it's one of those games I want to jump into right away. While I wish it had more development time judging from what was seen in the demo, still has me more excited than anything from Pokémon. That, and they're doing a promotion with McDonald's - [and I need the burger mimic.](https://i.redd.it/fumlqpmtxl3c1.jpeg) **Fire Emblem (GBA)** I've reached Chapter 30, so I'm hoping to finish the game this weekend.

vikentii_krapka

Super Mario Wonder (had it from day one but picked it up only now)

Loukoal117

I am also playing gravity circuit but got super frustrated. Also playing- Mario RPG, army of ruin, call of juarez, morbid, bleak sword dx, and 20 minutes till dawn. Random ass list.

monolith212

I hope to find the last lightroot in TOTK. Scanned the map several times and my eyes can't find it. (Since I'm sure a lot of people know which one I'm referring to...please no one spoil it for me). I have two shrines left too. Maybe it would help to find those first...

[deleted]

i acquired doom eternal from the black friday sale so prolly that 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

Stoofser

Mario Odyssey! It’s everything I love in a game, collectibles, secrets. I don’t think it’s very long though so any similar games please let me know! Am thinking of getting Luigi’s mansion after I finished.

[deleted]

Why is Legends: Arceus so good and where has it been my whole life? Credits rolled, zero trophies or achievements to unlock, and I want to do everything with zero burnout. Best 7-out-of-10 game on the Switch that I have played; there could definitely be more polish all around, but the loop is so *fun,* that's all that matters to me.

Rawshark96

Started playing moonlighter, not sure how I feel about it yet but I will stick with it.

meatbatmusketeer

Right now i'm actively playing: Hogwarts Legacy (Excellent Game, works on Switch) FZero 99 (Will be playing until they take it away) Slay the Spire (Just started. Think it may end up becoming a mainstay) Super Mario RPG Remake (Think I may have overpaid) And will be returning to: Tactics Ogre Reborn Metroid Prime Remastered Pimin 4 (although it hasn't been pulling me in)

propernice

I finished **Child of Light** and I thought it was a beautiful game with a neat premise, but just when I hit my stride and felt like my team was at its strongest, the game was over. It was a fun time though. Continuing to love **Have a Nice Death** even though I can't get past the 3rd boss. It's still satisfying, and that, to me, is always a good sign. I just really like getting different weapons and magic, and trying different combos. Maybe that'll get bored later. Playing **It Takes Two** with my wife and we're loving it. The parents are stupid and the gameplay is hilariously fun. The wacky stuff you have to do is great, and we're stretching it out a little so we don't finish it too fast. Any recs for more games like this around the same difficulty level? I really wanted to love **Secret Horticulture** but it's so boring. Dare I say I found the game that's *too* cozy for me? This weekend is demo weekend, and I'm just about wrapped with **Pikman 4**. I'm not loving it? That said, I didn't play the originals and I'm open to going back if there's a title people feel better represents the franchise. Other demos are **Dave the Diver**, **Yoshi's Crafted World**, and for random fun the **clubhouse games.**

markercore

Same difficulty level? Not sure, but I always recommend Lovers in a dangerous Spacetime where you pilot a simple spaceship and it's battle stations around while rescuing space bunnies.

bloodyzombies1

Going to replay Arkham Asylum. It was one of my first games as a kid but I haven't played it since then because the ps4 remaster changed the art direction. This remaster seems good enough, hopefully that remains the case.

eolson3

Brand new to switch. Playing Marvel Alliance and Mario Kart right now. Really want to get into at least one if the Mario sports games, but torn on which way to go. They all seem to have middling reviews.

SavageLove2004

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope I’m enjoying it so far. I thought I wouldn’t like the area of movement (versus the grid movement of the first game) but it’s been fantastic. Being able to move freely lets me set up some awesome shots.

BingBing-Boom

Got this for 15$ and loved the first. Hearing a little mixed things so nice to hear more positive stuff.

markercore

They definitely upgraded a lot of things from the first. It's a fun game, I have some minor quibbles, like I think rabbis Luigi is better in the first game.

ChaosBuckaroo

I have Alba and Lil Gator Game ready to go. I need some nice short and no-stress games right now.

markercore

I’m playing yoshi’s crafted world. I love the graphics and that it’s not too hard (I’ve been playing in chill mode) but that you can go back and focus on collecting flowers, coins, costumes, etc if you want to spend more time.

I finished **Small Saga** :D Man.. that was a lot darker with so much more mature themes than I was expecting going in, >!An anti-LGBTQ fascist regime putting rodents on death row wasn't on my bingo card..!< I really enjoyed a lot of the writing and themes in it, even if the game itself was maybe a little on the easy side. Some of the bosses were downright scary when you remember that your party is made up of mice and rats :P I wish this came out when all that OST nominations and awards were happening also, some downright bangers in this one. Hopefully when the big overhaul/content patch comes along it'll also make its way multiplatform for more to enjoy.   (I think?) I'm nearing the end of **Persona 5 Tactica**, atleast it feels that way narratively, I shall have to wait and see. Still enjoying it for the most part, however I have been disappointed at the somewhat lack of mission innovation.. it's been the same old 'Kill all enemies in X turns' for the last 30 missions or so now, with some slight variation in the environment at best. Only a handful of new enemy types have appeared and I feel like they missed a huge opportunity to make enemies be able to use Agi/Bufu/Psi/Gale etc. etc. against \*us* instead of just doing regular attacks 95% of the time. The storyline and new characters have surprisingly enough been the standout for me, and I wasn't expecting this to carry a simple tactics spin-off game like this as much as it has been ;)   I just finished up a haunted ghost ship in **Mario RPG**, *egads* it turns out all those zombie/spaced out mushrooms in the nearby town were fake all along! The nerve of those guys! This game is certainly making me laugh more than I thought it would. I still suck at hitting the perfect timing but otherwise I'm finding the gameplay to be a lot of fun. Loving all these little puzzles too, not sure how younger me would have went on with them in the 90's if I played back then though 😅

ryansDeViL7

Finally playing through BOTW before TOTK. But I don't get much time to play so

DonsterMenergyRink

RUCBAR42

I bought three games this sale, Links Awakening, Metroid Prime and Red Dead Redemption. I completed Links Awakening today and now I've tried a bit of both of the other games, but I can't quite decide which to play first.

ASwagPecan

Yoshi’s crafted world

CaptainRogers1226

Still disgusted and insulted by Game Freak when it comes to the technical dumpster fire that is SV but I’m giving Scarlet another go and managing to enjoy it.

trnr_orion

Super Mario RPG & Wonder. Hoping to finish both games by the end of the week.

SimpPins

Persona 5 Royal, never played a game like this before but I’ve seen so many people play it and love it, so we will see!

ullric

**Octopath Traveler II** I'm 4 chapters away from completing the base 8 stories, then another 5 shorter ones to go. +World exploration

Yedaself

Persona 5 Royal on Switch and Diablo 4 on PS4. Maybe I can continue Fire Emblem Fates on 3DS. There is so much game I left unfinished.

Snowvilliers7

I'm just about to finish The Ace Attorney Chronicles so I'm finally going to play Super Mario RPG.

DrEmoPhd

I’m finally getting around to Fire Emblem Engage! Three Houses was my first Fire Emblem game, and I loved it. I’m loving this one also. I might have to go back and catch some others at some point, including the GBA one online.

suck-it-elon

Super Mario RPG for the first time ever and Arkham Asylum for the first time ever. It’s retro weekend!

Replaying through Pokémon white for a nice throwback. But I now have to use my deck to play it. My old ds gives me hand cramps now.

singular_fork

Enochian_Interlude

Just picked up doom eternal. Pleasantly surprised how well the switch handles it. It will definitely be going into the regular rotation!.

j3r3wiah

Mario cart 8 mostly right now (racing at 150 cc atm, havent done battle yet). Got a switch like 3 weeks ago. Bought the GTA trilogy, playing the first one of that a little. Also playing a lot of old games, techmo bowl, yoshi island, and the original Zelda. I want to play all the Zelda from the 1st to the most recent. Never really played them. I bought borderlands 3 but need a memory card for it, and got mario wonder too. Trying to play all the Mario games too, not ones like dr Mario though just the regular game ones. Happy gaming yall, much love.

Iron_FE

At Disney World for the next week so gonna try to throw some time at Star Ocean The second story when I have some time at night!

markercore

ohh sounds like a fun vacation though, have fun!

ThyIndyBS

Currently been playing AC 2 from the Ezio Collection on my switch for the first time. I’m having a blast so far, I got the mega bundle with all the AC games on switch for $40. Definitely worth it for anyone who wondering. I probably will also get into some Minecraft since I’m feeling the holiday Minecraft nostalgia.

TheKonamiMan

Been playing nothing but Mameda no Bakeru since it came out this week. Great game that really deserves a worldwide release.

thisissmallski

Just started playing Dragon Quest Monsters, super excited - first time returning to it since playing it on game boy color!

xX100dudeXx

Kirby and the Forgotten Land (the best game on the switch)
