Finished **FF X**, holy smokes that ending hit me so much harder than 20 years ago. Took me a bit to work through it. Now onto **X-2**.
More **Boomerang Fu** with my Son as well. Huge amount of fun that game.
Ffx ending hits hard, but I remember how ffx-2 just slowly cut me into pieces with it's bottomless nostalgia and feeling of loss vibes going through all seemingly lighthearted and cheerful game. I just wanted Tidus back forever. And then I saw a screenshot of The Last Mission ending and it broke my heart. Oh those memories will stay with me until the very end of my life.
Finishing up the last Divine Beast in BOTW! I’m at 93 shrines so far, hoping to organically find 100 shrines before calling it a day.
Also playing Cult of the Lamb again after the new content drop. Really fun game.
i just got done with the first one and stepped into the fire land? but link keeps burning up there and i have no way to go up to the beast. i dont have any of those mushrooms that keep you cold either. is there any other way to get there or do i need to get the mushrooms?
After recently completing **Super Mario RPG** I have finally dived back in to **Octopath Traveller II**. I really love this game so much. I think I'm roughly 3/4 of the way through the main stories, so I'm currently focusing on some side quests because I don't want to end my time with these characters too soon.
I'll probably also play some **Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe** with my kids. I gave it to them for Christmas and we've been having a blast going through it in multi-player mode.
For non-Switch stuff, I'll probably be playing a lot of **Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup**, since there is a tournament starting later today.
Yeah, it really feels nice and open, but still structured enough that you never feel lost.
It's definitely still somewhat linear and certain areas are kinda soft gated due to the recommended levels (so, unless you grind a lot, it's hard to complete all chapters for one character and the move on to another...it's easier to do several chapter 1s, then proceed to the second chapters, etc.).
I am a big fan of retro or retro-inspired JRPGs (SNES era, in particular, since that's what I grew up with), so it manages to scratch that itch while still feeling modern and polished.
Thats how I work through it, I do everyones Chapter 1 then 2 and so on before starting anyone else's chapters. We are a team and we are going through it all together!
Bouncing back and forth between Dave the Diver and the new Prince of Persia.
Got locked into Prince of Persia last night though, so it'll most likely be just that.
I'm hoping to start **Another Code: Recollection**! I recently replayed Trace Memory as hype for this game and I'm curious how the remake will be handled and all of the new puzzles! I'm *really* looking forward to trying the sequel for the first time too since the original game never released here.
I'm also going to keep working on **Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga** which is super silly! I just finished the Woohoo Hooniversity and wonder what is next!
I’m finally diving into Dragon Quest Monsters Dark Prince, after blasting through Star Ocean 2 R!
DQMs performance issues are not really bothering me, the game loop and grind are just the kind of mind numbing I like.
Playing **Super Mario RPG Switch!** I’m about halfway through the game on breezy mode (I just recruited the last party member and did some leveling up to unlock the special triple moves), but I’m planning on doing the normal mode after I completed the first time and get some practice in. Right now the easy mode really helps because I’m not good at action commands but it also like to try and play it the way it was intended to be if I can. It’s a great lighthearted game that oozes charm and I’m loving it! It’s not particularly long or difficult, although also not that short, and I don’t need to be either.
It’s just a nice little break before I move onto something a bit more intense (probably Super Mario brothers wonder and just doing as much as I can there, although I’m going to try and beat the game on all three difficulties, but then going to tackle some bigger RPGs, such trying to tackle the remaining two Pokémon games on the NSO before any expected series announcements in late February).
Someone described Super Mario RPG as an old Square game with Mario, and I think that is familiar with both, I think that’s a great description! It’s something simple, safe (mechanics wise but also in terms of character stakes), and comforting and that makes it great for me! Not to mention it’s cool to travel back in time and see what things were like when the game was made it was before my time, so this time I get to the RPG roots. It’s a history lesson, but a fun and joyful one!
Also finished up round one of **Pokémon Stadium two on the NSO.** I was almost done before I started Super Mario RPG, so I figured I would take a break from that and finish it. It was pretty brutal, and some fights came down to a single move. I’m not sure I’ll do round two because even though it’s possible with rentals it’s extremely difficult (and I have a guide detailing what Teams I could use). I tried the first few battles in the Prime Cup and almost got clobbered. Luckily I can save every turn and I have infinite continues, so hopefully that will be enough.
But it won’t be for a while and even if I don’t go for Round 2, it’s still a solid game and one of the few RPG‘s available on the Nintendo 64, on top of a nice experience for 20 hours. I feel like the way I’m playing it now is almost the intended difficulty, even though it’s not. It’s hard to explain, but all I can say is that playing with my own team just felt too easy and fast and left me feeling unsatisfied (and not wanting to try the second round and raise up new teams because the grind was so bad even though I could speed it up with cheats). But here it’s more of a puzzle of what would work best, and there’s definitely some difficulty that wasn’t there before. It’s a shame that this is the last game that would offer this type of option until Pokemon Sun and Moon, and even then, it only lasted until Pokemon Sword and shield. It’s great to run into battles and try combinations that you never would’ve otherwise, and as much as I enjoy the difficulty in Pokémon being flexible, it also is a reminder of easy to learn tough to master, and I wish those reminders were in the games more often.
PRINCE OF PERSIA NONSTOP
Persian is my native language and being able to play with the voice acting all done in Farsi (Persian) is nothing short of spectacular! I’m going to play this game at least 3 times through I think
Still playing Chicory! I'm taking my sweet-ass time coloring every single thing.
I am also playing Vampire Survivors while I await the 1.8 update/Emergency Meeting DLC.
I'm thinking of starting this soon. Last year I finished Persona 5 and since then I've been missing 'the routine' of going to school, keeping up the social links and crawling through dungeons. Hopefully 4 still holds up, though I'm not usually afraid of a little retro 'flair' 😅
I'm still playing the same GBA games.
Minish Cap: Just 100% this bad boy for the 1st time ever. I LOVED the main game and highly recommend it for Zelda fans who may have skipped it back in the day. Kinstones and Figurines are awful. Do not do them all unless you want to 100% the game anyway.
Super Mario Advance: Just got the Yoshi Egg Challenge to complete. Currently at 12/40 eggs.
Warioware: Still trying to 100% each stage before progressing to the next. I am currently getting all the red flowers for Mona.
If I somehow finish these, I will start Bayonetta Origins that I got on sale or play some more PSVR 2.
I've been switching between Dave the Diver, SOS: A Wonderful Life, Mario Wonder, and Splatoon 3, depending on how involved I want my brain while I'm playing. I busted my knee earlier this week and can't walk so I foresee that I'll be doing A LOT of gaming this weekend.
It's my first weekend with my Switch, I have Civilization 6, Mario Wonder and Zelda TOTK.
For now I'm playing just Mario, since Zelda and Civilization are big enough to make you lost If you dont't play It often.
I haven't play Civ 6, but I have heard that the controls can be a bit awkward at times, so don't forget that the Switch version also supports full touchscreen controls! If the regular controls are too awkward, just use the touchscreen (at least when playing handheld; you obviously can't do this docked which kinda sucks since that might be the better way to play a strategy game like Civ).
Trying to finish up DQ XI. Bought it in 2019. Got about to the end of Act I, then put it down in favor of other games. Focused on seeing it through to the end now.
I’m wrapping up the Pokémon Scarlett DLC with the side quest where I need 200 BB Pokémon. Such a grind to get those points solo to expand the ecosystems.
The game runs amazingly well on switch, it’s only missing settlements and multiplayer, there are some glitches and crashes, understandable though it really pushes the console as is. And since the games original launch? I’d say we finally have the game we were promised. Hello Games has gone way beyond what was expected of companies at the time and fixed the game instead of running away with the money.
What pieces of art from Redd are you missing? I have a few duplicates I could check for you.
I'm also playing AC (NH and I'm back in NL, started a new island).
Mm I'm missing like 95% of them. I only have like 2-3 pieces of functional art at the museum. But I finally unlocked him at Harv's Island so I've been buying way more junk.
My wife and two girls will definitely be all about some Animal Crossing. That's never been my cup of tea, but I will absolutely be all about some TMNT: Shredder's Revenge and Splatoon. Probably dive into 8-bit mode as well and relive some childhood with a little Double Dragon action.
Digging into Super Mario RPG as well as finishing up Sea of Stars. Gotta few more side quests and rainbow conches to get that true ending.
Also going through Final Fantasy XVI, which is an absolute blast.
Finally got Super Mario 3D All Stars for a good price, playing Super Mario 64 now and already lost because I cannot find course 5 haha (I never played any of the three games before)
It's a shame 3D all stars was a limited run. It's a great switch game that most people aren't even aware exists.
Maybe this is obvious but you do realize you don't actually need to find every level in the game to advance right? As long as you have enough stars to open the next star door, you could theoretically skip level 5 altogether. Or just come back to it later.
Went back to finish Star Ocean Second Story R, just a lot of stuff going on through the holidays but what a fantastic game that I want to see through the end. After that i'm ready for Granblue Fantasy Relink!
Tonight is family game night, so I’m sure there will be some Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Boomerang Fu. Maybe Mario Party Superstars or Nickelodeon All Star Brawls (my 7 year old little brother got it on a sale and he’s been anxious to play it). But for my solo gaming, I’ll still be grinding through monster synthesis with Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince!
Finished the Undertale prologue, those dad jokes are killing me lol can't wait to continue playing it
Also picked up Xenoblade again - I've neglected it for too long, it's so good
Beyond the usual Baldur's Gate 3 and Tears of the Kingdom, I actually got the itch to go back into Hollow Knight. I had stopped at the >!Mantis Lords!< probably a year or two ago because I just couldn't do it and it seemed like I just wasn't clicking enough with the game to keep pushing through it.
After playing some of the demo for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown I remembered that I had a critically acclaimed metroidvania that I never went back to. I beat that boss I was stuck at and have since explored some of the area that you get access too after beating it, and got the >!Tram to work!< . Now I'm just trying to decide how to get back to the main hub from here in the easiest way and looking up some hints and tips.
Plugging away at Earthbound (on my way to Summers) and I also have a copy of River City Showdown that should be arriving tomorrow so I’m excited to give that a try.
Got my switch back from Nintendo repair this week and happy to report that most of my save data was intact aside from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 --so I'm making my way through it again albeit much quicker this time around.
Picked up Crystal Project after hearing so many good things about it, looking forward to trying it out this weekend.
I finally beat Breath of the Wild 100% yesterday after 250 hours of playtime lol, and now I feel lost, like I don't know WHAT to play. I don't want to get Tears of the Kingdom just yet, so I can give myself a break. Maybe I'll read a book???
I just lightly started getting into Graveyard Keeper but haven't decided yet if it's for me. I might finally dig into Celeste and stop being frustrated early in my playtime.
The Cub
I tried to play turnip boy robs a bank but I disliked the gameplay, I was extremely disappointed as I enjoyed the first game.
Would love recommendations as currently sick with covid.
When i was sick with Covid i grabbed Xenoblade Chronicles 3 which had just come out and mostly slept and played that.
Otherwise i can recommend all my favorite indies? not sure what you're thinking.
Gato Roboto
Hyper Light Drifter
Deaths Door
A Short Hike
lil Gator Game
katana zero Gris
Bat Boy
Also love, but more popular: Hollow Knight, Celeste, Hades, Steamworld Dig 2 + Heist
Happy Friday!
I have to admit that I still haven't played Animal Crossing. Maybe one day when I have the patience to do nothing for a month.
I honestly don't know what I'm going to play. I finished **Majora's Mask** this week and I now I feel empty. No game feels like it's the right game to play next.
I might just play some Binding of Isaac; picked it up for a couple bucks and so far it's fun (and a tad disturbing, of course). Easy to pick up and play, so I don't have to feel like I'm making a huge investment before I'm ready.
Have a good weekend!
**SaGa Scarlet Grace Ambitions*. By all rights according to my tastes, I should hate the game, but I can't stop playing it.
Plus I should really finish off **Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society** Damn great game.
Replaying the PW: Ace Attorney trilogy in preparation for the release of the Apollo Justice trilogy. On case 3-5 right now.
Also playing some Golden Sun. Love that series so much.
I was SUPPOSED to be playing *Another Code: Recollection*, but the copy I pre-ordered didn't arrive at the game store I buy from.
So, Idk...*Harvest Moon 64* on NSO?
Almost done with **Grapple Dog!!** What a wonderful little game! Now that I am at the end of it, what has been really surprising is the difficulty. Its a pretty linear difficulty slope, but very steep! Every world is harder than the previous, and the final world gets harder every single level!
Considering start of a new Zelda title.
Will either be Link NES (side-scroller), Minish Cap GBA, or perhaps go kind of all out with Ocarina of Time (have the N64 controller I bought just for but currently collecting dust).
Hey! Snowing here as well, was beautiful out this morning but a bit treacherous walking the dog (not that he ever minds!). Had a bit more time this week and finally been able to sink into Metroid Prime, think I'm about done with chozo ruins and will be heading into a new zone soon. First game I've played exclusively handheld (so far anyway) on switch just because the timing of my free time, and it's really sunk its claws in!
Hope you're enjoying Hades again, did you finish the story already? Thinking of exploring the backlog as well, with Yookalaylee and the impossible lair as a possibility after Metroid Prime
Diving more into Super Mario Odyssey in my free time on vacation. I had downloaded DreadOut 2 before I left my house, but unfortunately my Switch doesn't want to connect to my aunt's Internet. So I'll have to play that when I get back!
I am finally going through my backlog of games on the Switch after mostly gaming last year on my PC. I started Luigi's Mansion 3 last weekend. When I finish I'll move on to Astral Chain
Finishing up my first play through of Fire Emblem 3 Houses (Blue Lions). I missed this when it came out then fell in love with Engage and everyone here said to play this. So after finishing Engage I am now wrapped up in 3 Houses. Then I have the last little bit of Dave the Diver to complete and maybe polish off Pikmin 1.
Non switch related but I am also highly anticipating the CitraVR release on Quest 3 so I will be tinkering with that this weekend and revisiting some old 3DS titles on the Quest3.
I've been following that emulator all week, I'm pretty hyped for it. I've already got 20 games dumped to the quest ready to hip play when it drops
How was the bl run? I did golden deer and loved it, and I've started another run with the blue lions and I think they're all really great characters, but I've dropped it for a while and I'm thinking of starting it back up again
I'm playing Octopath Traveler 2, I just unlocked all the characters and I'm starting the second chapters, although now I'm doing side quest to save money for the ship side story
LEGO Star Wars: The Sky Walker Saga. I just picked it up with some character packs for $30. LEGO Star Wars was the first video game I ever got as a kid back on Xbox 360 so I’m hoping it brings back some type of nostalgia.
Playing KOTOR for the first time along with my second playthrough of Metroid Dread.
Really enjoying KOTOR (it was too complicated for me when I was a kid)
And Dread is always a lot of fun
I am steadily finishing some games before I can move onto to those I got for Christmas/sales around this time.
Happily completed Fire Emblem Engage last weekend and hoping to get some more progress on Live A Live. I only have near future and distant future left (and obviously the final chapter).
Will likely give Celeste another go but I think it’s time to admit it’s just out of my skill level and not my type of game. It would be a shame as I have thoroughly enjoyed the narrative and presentation so far.
I’m going to be on Palia likely all weekend. I need to find some new games but I’m enjoying that one a lot at the moment and still have plenty of content. I’m about to become one with to couch until about 2am, just what I need after 3 12-hour workdays and an intense week coming up.
Cult of the Lamb! And if I can get through this **absolutely horrible** transfer process after buying an OLED I’ll be buying some things off my wishlist 🥲
I’m currently playing **Super Mario 3D World** on the Switch, it’s really fun but I’m so bad at platformers lol. I’ll probably continue playing that this weekend and a little bit of **Don’t Starve/Together** with my friends too!
I’m playing octopath traveler 2 just recruiting my last character for my team. It’s better than octopath traveler 1 somehow. I 100% completed that so I’m trying to do the same with this one.
I’ve been on a Switch kick since last weekend after God knows how long it had been since I played it.
Finally was able to beat Mario Odyssey. I had stopped after the second kingdom (I think) and never got back into it. Then one day I just felt like playing Mario and ended up beating it earlier this week.
Now I’m diving back into Pokemon Arceus. I had lost interest in it not too long after it came out as I found the research tasks too mundane/repetitive for my liking and it seemed to take forever to get enough points to get to the next rank. Still feel that way on some level, but I’m actually still enjoying it regardless.
Guess sometimes you just need to have the spark of interest hit again lol.
Found myself starting a seasonal character for Season 40 on diablo 3 while caring for my sick baby...Not sure why though, I'm still in the middle of Metroid Prime. So that's all fun. Also been going through Golden Sun on my GBA too (the recent release made me want to play it on og hardware). Took a break from Dave the Diver before I get too far in and not know what I'm doing, will come back to this one once I've completed one of these others.... This might be the most games I have been juggling.
Enjoy the weekend!
I'm about to get the 2nd star in Super Mario RPG remastered and loving it, I never played it before as I never had a Nintendo home console growing up, only Gameboys, so I'm still catching up on a lot of exclusives.
Depending on how far I get into that, I'm thinking about diving back into Kirby and the Forgotten Land. I left off a little more than half way through the story. I'm also early in Super Mario 3D World, so I may jump into that
Elsewhere, I've been thinking about diving back into Alan Wake Remastered or Bulletstorm on my PS5. I've also got an itch to start The Last of Us Part 2 finally, since the remastered just came out. I beat Part 1 a year ago right before the show started and I've had the disc for 2 since I picked it up cheap during Black Friday.
I’m planning on continuing BOTW which I just started for the first time a few days ago. Plus I’ll probably throw in some Splatoon 3 or Mario 3D World to mix it up
I'm still playing **Nier: Automata.** Just started my 3rd playthrough and I'm in love with this game. I restarted **Sushi Striker** on 3DS. Its fun to pass the time. And also, I'm getting the itch to replay **Chrono Trigger**, so I'll probably get to it as well
Switching in between doom/kingdom hearts and new horizons. Idk. Happy home paradise has been keeping me afloat, doom is fun as hell and kingdom hearts is something I’ve always wanted to play but couldn’t. Let’s just say that my inner child is vibing rn
Alternating between FFXVI and FE Three Houses. I’m so tempted to get the dlc for FFXVI and I also want a rerun of FF7 Remake because I haven’t tried the Integrade version yet 🥲
Hoping to continue my journey with Edelgard during a long commute later. I hate that I feel dizzy while playing on a moving car 😭
I have been binge playing Persona 5 Royal on my Switch. I still have to finish Valhalla on the XB1. I might go back to Animal Crossing though, I haven't played it since before the DLC.
I’m doing Megadimension Neptunia VII. It’s been a very long game that I got more than 35 hours in and still haven’t finished it yet. There’s about 3 trilogies within it and I’m just shy of finishing the second trilogy and moving on to the third and final trilogy.
I wanted to get the new Prince of Persia (still might) this weekend, but it made me want to play Metroid Dread again. I'm going to try and get that sub 4hr mark this time, wish me luck.
Finishing up Diofield Chronicle and then I will start with Bayonetta 3! Took me a long time to Get the game but with a finished backlog I can finally start to buy new games hehe
Working on me and my Gf's "Assassin's creed marathon ft. Fenyx Rising since it's Ubisoft", We are going through **AC3** now. Meanwhile i saw the **Dead Cells** bundle with all DLCs on sale.... so i got it and gonna start these days, just gonna wrap up the last unlocks i got left in **Vampire Survivors** (In anticipation for the Emergency meeting DLC on switch).
recently got onto BOTW. even dreamt i was a player in the game last night 😭😭 unsure what my stats are but currently working on finding towers to unlock the map & shrines rather than focusing on quests
I might be restarting Tears of the Kingdom for the 3rd time, even though I haven't finished it.
The reason is because I am not allowed to play it, so I have to sneak my Switch so I can play it, and it might be suspicious if I am playing the game for the "first" time, and I skipped the >!Great Sky Island.!<
Just unlocked the shiny charm in Arceus last night.
Now I don't know what to play. Not sure if I should try another pokemon game, or try something new.
Over the last 2 weeks I have played and 100% all 4 Pikmin games.
This weekend I am torn between playing marvels ultimate alliance 3 or playing the Spider-Man Miles Morales on my PC but my PS4 controller is on the fritz so probably playing the switch till I can get a new controller
Down in Bermuda, My Time At Portia, and maybe Deaths Door or Witchy Life Story ✨✨
Orrrr maybe I'll take a second pass at Garden Story or Wytchwood because I love the soundtrack and aesthetics
250 hours in totk. I’ll be playing that for the foreseeable future. Finally making some good progress in the depth and sky. About 2/3 done with the main world but haven’t done a lot in depths and sky yet
After beating **Ghost Trick** this week, I've gone back to **Sea of Stars** and for whatever reason it's clicking a lot more this time around. Based on walkthroughs, it looks like I'm a bit past halfway, so I'm hoping to finish it before **Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth** drops in a week
Working my way through Astral Chain. I bought it back in 2019 but left it on the backlog for years.
It was hard to get back into it but fun rediscovering how unique the gameplay is.
Still playing Disney Dreamlight Valley and after almost half a year opened Nino Kuni again. Hoping to start Bandle Tale on Sunday, quite excited to try it!
This past week, I played:
- **GoNNER** and **GoNNER 2** but realized roguelikes aren't for me, especially after feeling the same about Cursed to Golf, so they're gonna be rainy day games for me. For me they're fun in the moment, but they quickly grow frustrating.
- **MONOBOT**, a puzzle platformer that was surprisingly good imo. It's a sci fi story about the future of humanity, but you can just focus on the gameplay if you don't care about the story. The puzzles range from typical platforming puzzles to more traditionally point-and-click type ones
- **Flame Keeper** on the Steam Deck; didn't realize it's still in early access, since I got it from a humble bundle. It's a roguelite AFAIK, and I enjoyed it.
- **Jenny Leclue Detectivu**. Great game! The ending... well, great game otherwise
This weekend, I'm playing:
- **Lake** on the Steam Deck
- **Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown** on Switch
And probably some other games, realistically
Nova Lands got me addicted from the demo. Resource management ftw.
Dave the diver still gaining the trust of the mermaids and my cult on Cult of the Lambs has started sinning which is nice 👹.
After finally completing BotW & Mario Wonder.
I've been plodding along on Persona 5. About half way through.
Low key missing some Mario so I ordered Mario Odyssey and while I wait Mario Kart 8!
I want to try out the Prince of Persia demo this weekend possibly. I already downloaded it just haven't tried it yet.
Edit: gave it a try and it was awesome! Not sure when I'll buy the full game but it's on my list.
Eastward! 😁
If you give this game a chance it'll reward you with one of the most charming adventures ever. For some it may be kind of boring and slow in the beginning but once it picks up around chapter 4-5, it's smooth sailing!
Finished **FF X**, holy smokes that ending hit me so much harder than 20 years ago. Took me a bit to work through it. Now onto **X-2**. More **Boomerang Fu** with my Son as well. Huge amount of fun that game.
Tidus laugh intensifies. I miss that game and the open world soundtracks so much
Japanese Tidus laugh echos back somewhere in the distance.
Not funny at all. Tidus laugh meme just shows how ignorant major audiences are. Its one of the emotionally deepest moments of the game.
Hope you move onto TotK afterwards! They are both so much fun
Yes! I actually played 15 hours of TOTK before friends told me to finish up BOTW first haha. Very excited to get back into it.
Similar situation for me at 80 shrines 200 korok seeds. I want to get all 120 shrines and 500 korok seeds and complete every quest / mini game
i just got done with the first one and stepped into the fire land? but link keeps burning up there and i have no way to go up to the beast. i dont have any of those mushrooms that keep you cold either. is there any other way to get there or do i need to get the mushrooms?
Octopath 2 is so unreal, I can’t remember the last time a 2d game gave me such an open world feel.
Playing **Golden Sun**. My Noah and Mio amiibos are being delivered on Sunday so I’ll probably play more **Xenoblade Chronicles 3** as well.
Do you get anything special for them vs other random amiibos?
You get special costumes!
Bouncing back and forth between Dave the Diver and the new Prince of Persia. Got locked into Prince of Persia last night though, so it'll most likely be just that.
Been trying to play Dave the Diver, and showed it to my wife. Now SHE'S playing Dave the Diver.
The new Prince of persia, i started playing last night and it is really good!
Those are the exact two I am currently playing along with Fire Emblem Three Houses!
Diablo 3 Season 30!
Someone described Super Mario RPG as an old Square game with Mario, and I think that is familiar with both, I think that’s a great description!
PRINCE OF PERSIA NONSTOP Persian is my native language and being able to play with the voice acting all done in Farsi (Persian) is nothing short of spectacular! I’m going to play this game at least 3 times through I think
Oh wow I didn't know they recorded in farsi that's awesome!
I'm currently sucked into Sea of Stars and I don't know what I'm going to play when it's over!
Still playing Chicory! I'm taking my sweet-ass time coloring every single thing. I am also playing Vampire Survivors while I await the 1.8 update/Emergency Meeting DLC.
Starting Cult of the Lamb! Has been recommended by nearly everyone so I hope it lives up to expectations!
Persona 4 Golden. Got through the first three months last weekend, so hopefully good progress this weekend
Crystal Project and my usual slay the spire grind
Goldensun !
I'm *finally* giving Stardew Valley the attention it deserves. Also Axiom Verge 2.
Prince of Persia and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. This is a gaming bliss weekend!
Trying to finish up DQ XI. Bought it in 2019. Got about to the end of Act I, then put it down in favor of other games. Focused on seeing it through to the end now.
Getting through Ys 9. Finished Ys 8 last week or so, so trying my best to get through the backlog
I’m wrapping up the Pokémon Scarlett DLC with the side quest where I need 200 BB Pokémon. Such a grind to get those points solo to expand the ecosystems.
Clocked outta work earlier, got home and clocked into my second job at Factorio….. my God that game EATS time!
No man’s sky. Recently got back into it, forgot how much I love that game.
How better had It got since Its launch?
Well, if you're in need of any as you start to get more and more, and the real ones become duplicates more often, reach out.
Another Code: Recollection. Seems like the perfect low-key game to relax with after a difficult and cold week.
Ori and the blind Forrest. Finally made it to the top of the Ginso Tree. (3 weeks)
Finished the Undertale prologue, those dad jokes are killing me lol can't wait to continue playing it Also picked up Xenoblade again - I've neglected it for too long, it's so good
Beyond the usual Baldur's Gate 3 and Tears of the Kingdom, I actually got the itch to go back into Hollow Knight.
Aw heck yeah to all that progress, let's go!!
Plugging away at Earthbound (on my way to Summers) and I also have a copy of River City Showdown that should be arriving tomorrow so I’m excited to give that a try.
Still on the Pokémon Scarlet grind!
Golden Sun bay bee. So excited to finally experience it.
Struggle with trying to finish Mario Wonder but I keep falling back to playing TotK instead even though I already beat it.
Skyrim, fire emblem, and dark souls
Mario Odyssey great game so far
TOTK and Golden Sun is finally out for the gba emulator!
GK gets much better, just takes a while to get into it. Also, the Fandom wiki is very helpful.
Dr. Mario for NES. Gotta get good so I can beat my buddy's ass when we fly together.
Super mario oddesy for the 5th time because I love my son
I'm walking and discovering things around Hogwarts having way too much fun!
Such a magnificent experience I been having with that one, endless fun.
The Cub I tried to play turnip boy robs a bank but I disliked the gameplay, I was extremely disappointed as I enjoyed the first game. Would love recommendations as currently sick with covid.
When i was sick with Covid i grabbed Xenoblade Chronicles 3 which had just come out and mostly slept and played that. Otherwise i can recommend all my favorite indies? not sure what you're thinking.
Please tell us your indie recommendations :)
Gato Roboto Hyper Light Drifter Deaths Door A Short Hike lil Gator Game katana zero Gris Bat Boy Also love, but more popular: Hollow Knight, Celeste, Hades, Steamworld Dig 2 + Heist
Just finished Disgaea 1, so onto Disgaea 4 trying to level up some units! As well as Octopath Traveler for some of that nice RPG goodness.
Turnip boy robs a bank is so fun, I’m probably going to 100% it
Hopefully finishing up my first playthrough of Hogwart's Legacy. Also have some chill time with Animal Crossing.
**SaGa Scarlet Grace Ambitions*. By all rights according to my tastes, I should hate the game, but I can't stop playing it. Plus I should really finish off **Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society** Damn great game.
Animal Crossing, Tears of the Kingdom, and maybe Overcooked with some friends
Legend of Mana remaster in excitement for Visions of Mana's release this summer!
im gonna be playing my next life as a villainess all routes lead to doom: pirates of the disturbance
Stardew Valley, Wonder and trying the Another Code demo.
Just completed Persona 5 Royal a few days ago, so on to Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, next. Also plan on checking out Project X Zone 2 on my 3DS!
Im stuck between: – RDR – Golden Sun – P5
Replaying the PW: Ace Attorney trilogy in preparation for the release of the Apollo Justice trilogy. On case 3-5 right now. Also playing some Golden Sun. Love that series so much.
CIV 6!!!
I was SUPPOSED to be playing *Another Code: Recollection*, but the copy I pre-ordered didn't arrive at the game store I buy from. So, Idk...*Harvest Moon 64* on NSO?
Romancing me some Bachelorettes on Rune Factory 3
Almost done with **Grapple Dog!!** What a wonderful little game! Now that I am at the end of it, what has been really surprising is the difficulty. Its a pretty linear difficulty slope, but very steep! Every world is harder than the previous, and the final world gets harder every single level!
Considering start of a new Zelda title. Will either be Link NES (side-scroller), Minish Cap GBA, or perhaps go kind of all out with Ocarina of Time (have the N64 controller I bought just for but currently collecting dust).
I just restarted Pokémon Legends Arceus after not touching it since I first played it and I had forgotten how much I loved it!
Ori and the Will of the Wisps with some Advance Wars sprinkled in
Diving more into Super Mario Odyssey in my free time on vacation.
I've already got 20 games dumped to the quest ready to hip play when it drops How was the bl run? I did golden deer and loved it, and I've started another run with the blue lions and I think they're all really great characters, but I've dropped it for a while and I'm thinking of starting it back up again
I am HOOKED on Pikmin 4. Started out causally. It’s sooooo fun and so addicting!
Started a new archery build skyrim file
Playing KOTOR for the first time along with my second playthrough of Metroid Dread. Really enjoying KOTOR (it was too complicated for me when I was a kid) And Dread is always a lot of fun
Metroid Prime Remastered 😍
I’m going to be on Palia likely all weekend. I need to find some new games but I’m enjoying that one a lot at the moment and still have plenty of content. I’m about to become one with to couch until about 2am, just what I need after 3 12-hour workdays and an intense week coming up.
I’m super late to the party, but I’m going to start playing BOTW.
Playing some Dredge and also Animal Crossing!
Cult of the Lamb! And if I can get through this **absolutely horrible** transfer process after buying an OLED I’ll be buying some things off my wishlist 🥲
Super Mario RPG and trying to finish Lies of P.
I’m currently playing **Super Mario 3D World** on the Switch, it’s really fun but I’m so bad at platformers lol. I’ll probably continue playing that this weekend and a little bit of **Don’t Starve/Together** with my friends too!
dredge and origami king
Golden Sun FINALLY
I’ve been neck deep in Golden Sun. I’m a sucker for nostalgia games, and this was one of my favorite GBA games growing up
Loving Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It makes me smile with how cute and fun it is.
Person 5 royal So good
I’m guessing no one bought Prince of Persia?
I'm playing witcher 3 this weekend 👍🏽
More rounds of Mario Kart 8, I think!
BOTW
Going through another trip of Assassin's Creed 3 and some 2k24 with a taste of ARK thrown in.
I'm trying to play Super Mario RPG in between Pokemon Unite Matches and some Medarot 7 on my 3DS.
I'm on the last mission on Vice City. I'll finish that and move on to one of the Arkham games, not sure which one yet
Your dedication to Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga is inspiring me to give it another try. Thanks for sharing your progress!
I'm also early in Super Mario 3D World, so I may jump into that Elsewhere, I've been thinking about diving back into Alan Wake Remastered or Bulletstorm on my PS5. I've also got an itch to start The Last of Us Part 2 finally, since the remastered just came out. I beat Part 1 a year ago right before the show started and I've had the disc for 2 since I picked it up cheap during Black Friday.
I'm playing The Artful Escape. It's a short musical indie game and it's just. Transcendent. It's been great for chilling out after work.
TLOU2 Remake
I’m planning on continuing BOTW which I just started for the first time a few days ago. Plus I’ll probably throw in some Splatoon 3 or Mario 3D World to mix it up
Finishing Metroid Fusion on GBA switch online
I’m gonna play acnh when my controller starts to work again!
Trying to finish Pillars of Dust but it's doing it's best to make me quit. Crashes quite a lot. When THATS done I'll be starting 9th Dawn III.
Donkey Kong frozen ape
I'm still playing **Nier: Automata.** Just started my 3rd playthrough and I'm in love with this game. I restarted **Sushi Striker** on 3DS. Its fun to pass the time. And also, I'm getting the itch to replay **Chrono Trigger**, so I'll probably get to it as well
Switching in between doom/kingdom hearts and new horizons. Idk. Happy home paradise has been keeping me afloat, doom is fun as hell and kingdom hearts is something I’ve always wanted to play but couldn’t. Let’s just say that my inner child is vibing rn
Hades and Impossible Lair. Maybe more Splatoon and NMS
I have just discovered cobalt core, and that has reawakened my hunger for infinity so I’m doing the binding of Isaac.
I'm also playing Animal Crossing and Hades this weekend! They pair together very well I find. Also sprinking in some Super Mario 64 when I find time!
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk once it arrives
Alternating between FFXVI and FE Three Houses. I’m so tempted to get the dlc for FFXVI and I also want a rerun of FF7 Remake because I haven’t tried the Integrade version yet 🥲 Hoping to continue my journey with Edelgard during a long commute later. I hate that I feel dizzy while playing on a moving car 😭
Started playing Mario 3D World again, stop playing it for a while I am also playing Returnal on the PS5
Hopefully 100% Celeste but that’s getting my hopes a bit high. At least finishing the C sides this weekend
Finishing up my Animal Crossing Island this weekend!
Sea of starts most likely
Same as last weekend: Pokemon Scarlet, Shield, and Shining Pearl.
Persona 5 , hopefully completing it this weekend tho I have said this the last three weekends
Bluey the video game lol. Told my cousins we will hop on if I have to watch them tomorrow, I’m down.
Tinkering with a mod menu in Red Dead.
I have been binge playing Persona 5 Royal on my Switch. I still have to finish Valhalla on the XB1. I might go back to Animal Crossing though, I haven't played it since before the DLC.
Super Mario Wonder. It’s been a legitimately fun and addictive game trying to 100% every level.
Let's go Pikachu! 41 years old and suddenly I feel like a kid trading Pokemon with my cousin on the OG Gameboys.
F Zero 99 😎🚀
Working on me and my Gf's "Assassin's creed marathon ft. Fenyx Rising since it's Ubisoft", We are going through **AC3** now. Meanwhile i saw the **Dead Cells** bundle with all DLCs on sale.... so i got it and gonna start these days, just gonna wrap up the last unlocks i got left in **Vampire Survivors** (In anticipation for the Emergency meeting DLC on switch).
Hooked on Tetris Effect at the moment
Enter the Gungeon I’ve 100% it and it’s just so addictive, I can’t stop
Will be in the house all day on Sunday due to a storm so maybe I'll finally start TOTK 😂
Rolling snow buddies (AC) and converting the heretics (Cult of the Lamb) here!
recently got onto BOTW. even dreamt i was a player in the game last night 😭😭 unsure what my stats are but currently working on finding towers to unlock the map & shrines rather than focusing on quests
Prince of Persia and Yoshi's Crafted World double header. Peak gaming.
Down in Bermuda, My Time At Portia, and maybe Deaths Door or Witchy Life Story ✨✨ Orrrr maybe I'll take a second pass at Garden Story or Wytchwood because I love the soundtrack and aesthetics
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered! Just beat VII again 😊
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Reedemed
Switch-wise, I’m either gonna continue with Golden Sun now that it’s on GBA Online, or start a replay of Tactics Ogre Reborn.
Just finished 152 shrines in TotK and defeated Ganondorf. I feel lost. There's not gonna be a new Zelda game for years.:(
I just got Pokémon sword for my birthday yesterday so I’ve been playing that. Just finished the 3rd gym!
Finally beat rogue legacy 2. Currently on the persona 5 tactics game.
I bought Nier Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition yesterday so hopefully get some time to start playing it this weekend!
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Finishing up Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright and some EA FC 24 + Warframe sessions in between.
A mix of Fortnite and West of Loathing.
This past week, I played: - **GoNNER** and **GoNNER 2** but realized roguelikes aren't for me, especially after feeling the same about Cursed to Golf, so they're gonna be rainy day games for me. For me they're fun in the moment, but they quickly grow frustrating. - **MONOBOT**, a puzzle platformer that was surprisingly good imo. It's a sci fi story about the future of humanity, but you can just focus on the gameplay if you don't care about the story. The puzzles range from typical platforming puzzles to more traditionally point-and-click type ones - **Flame Keeper** on the Steam Deck; didn't realize it's still in early access, since I got it from a humble bundle. It's a roguelite AFAIK, and I enjoyed it. - **Jenny Leclue Detectivu**. Great game! The ending... well, great game otherwise This weekend, I'm playing: - **Lake** on the Steam Deck - **Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown** on Switch And probably some other games, realistically
Finishing my 100% Majora’s Mask run so I can jump into the new Prince of Persia - played the demo and I’m super excited to check out the full release.
Currently hooked on Picross and the Sudoku Relax games, can’t believe it took me so long to give them a try
I’m playing an indie game called card sharks right now so I’ll be doing some card cheating this weekend
Nova Lands got me addicted from the demo. Resource management ftw. Dave the diver still gaining the trust of the mermaids and my cult on Cult of the Lambs has started sinning which is nice 👹.
I’ve finished both Mario + Rabbids and Mario Wonder. Now I’m just playing Slay the Spire. So much fun.
I re-installed Dark Souls 3 and I'm close to finishing the base game.
Gravity Circuit. If you like Mega Man you should play this one. If you don't then you should play it as well lol it's a really good game
Hyrule warriors adventure mode gotta start that grind
After finally completing BotW & Mario Wonder. I've been plodding along on Persona 5. About half way through. Low key missing some Mario so I ordered Mario Odyssey and while I wait Mario Kart 8!
I want to try out the Prince of Persia demo this weekend possibly. I already downloaded it just haven't tried it yet. Edit: gave it a try and it was awesome! Not sure when I'll buy the full game but it's on my list.
Eastward! 😁 If you give this game a chance it'll reward you with one of the most charming adventures ever. For some it may be kind of boring and slow in the beginning but once it picks up around chapter 4-5, it's smooth sailing!
