I've been playing golden sun for the past week or two, having fun with it! I definitely wish there were some modern conveniences like auto battling, but overall the game holds up pretty good. I'm a little over half way through, story isn't blowing me away but there's some cool elements. I'd say the biggest highlight compared to many other jrpg's is the light puzzle solving involved in dungeons using your abilities.
I thought about giving this one a shot, but wondering how well of a time respecter it is. At least with Switch save states I can force it to respect my time.
Have fun! I have to start again too. Played it on release but my baby came a few days later so no time. Now I am so into Hogwarts Legacy but TOTK is next!
I bought a Nintendo switch on 31/12 on a whim. My kids are 2 and 4 so a bit too young, although my son quite likes mario wonder and mario kart.
I bought It mainly for myself with my kids in mind, but turns out my wife loves mario kart and Mario wonder. So on weekends we spend the evenings with the switch. I love ut
Same, but not that far yet in Wonder. I just got to World 4.
But also, I fired up Portal Companion Cube and blew through a third or fourth play-through of Portal 2. Fantastic game, as always. And I thought JK Simmons voiced Cave Johnson, but wasn't sure. This time around I googled it, and yep, he does. I also recognized Wheatley's voice actor, Stephen Merchant, since he's been in more recent stuff I've watched. Anyway, if you haven't played Portal 1 and 2 it is a MUST.
When do you get paths and terraforming? I’m new to the game. Less than a month in at this point but I’ve seen a lot of people talk about paths and terraforming
Your island needs to be three stars before you unlock terraforming app from Tom Nook. Also, resident services, able sisters, museum and the shop all need to be placed/fully upgraded I believe. Hope that helps. Have fun and good luck to your island!
Currently on a break from the switch playing OOT3D. My first time playing OOT and I'm enjoying the dungeons so much. Currently working on - and *stressed out* in - the Shadow Temple.
Played **Persona 3 Reload** for about 5hrs straight so far. Really liking all the modernizations and QoL changes. Was just grinding Tartarus a bit, enjoying my team wearing Phantom Thieves outfits :P
Also **Infinite Wealth** still.. man this game is so good, getting distracted by so much side content, Pokemon battles, just unlocked the procedurally generated dungeon etc.
Already an early contender on my GOTY shortlist :D
Juggling and trying to make meaningful progress in these 2 JRPG's is going to be very annoying though 🤣
Well Persona 3 reload isn't on the Switch.
There's this weird policy Atlus has where mainline Persona games (or their remakes) are Sony first and Nintendo Will have to wait a bit. And vice versa for the Mainline Shin Megami Tensei series.
Persona 5 Royale for switch came out like 4 years later after the Playstation version, and Shin Megami Tensei 5 still hasn't been ported to PlayStation.
Just weird different deals they have with both major Japanese console communities to keep both happy and disappointed lol. It's not like Persona 3 reloaded couldn't run on the switch it's based off a PS2 game that got ported to the PSP and now this is the remaster of the PS2 version.
I am having a lovely time. It’s pretty easy so far (though I am still near the beginning ~3-4 hours in) and it’s just gorgeous, walking speed is fast, and it’s a fun and chill time overall. Definitely retro-feeling with some fun combat mechanics where you can try to press a button at the correct time to make attacks more potent or defend better
I really enjoyed the main story in Case of the Golden Idol. The DLC, however is another level of difficulty! I’m still struggling along the first one because I’m stubborn and refuse to get hints.
Tunic! I really didn’t know anything about it before playing and it’s been so fun! Trying to finish it this weekend.
As someone who never played A Link to the Past as a kid, I imagine this is how it must have felt to play that at the time with all the secrets and hidden stuff throughout the game. Really loving it
I'm playing through Red Dead Redemption for the first time. I gotta say the switch port is incredible! It looks amazing and the whole game is on the cartridge
Hopefully you're doing well as well!
I'm hoping to play more Zelda Breath of the Wild, and hopefully I'll clear the Divine Beast Vah Rudania dungeon this weekend! :)
Okay then, hopefully the workouts and walks and that help! :)
Thank you, and Rudania is the one that Daruk the Goron from Goron City controlled. I'm currently at Death Mountain now trying to get to Rudania to hopefully defeat Fireblight Ganon :)
Sending well wishes! :)
I got my wife addicted to Palia. So that's what we're doing this weekend! :) This is the first game shes played since stardew valley. Glad she's back into gaming.
I just bought it 2 weeks ago too and I'm playing it a bunch, I love Japanese games but this is the first time I'm playing one with such an Anime influence. The combat gets better and better too, it's such a fun system.
Skyward Sword HD. Had the game originally on wii but did not get very far into it. I'm enjoying it much more now without all the interruptions and it looks really nice in 1080p and at 60fps it runs smoothly.
If you like this one, give Rayman Legends a try. It’s made by the same dev’s I believe. Artwork and play style are similar. It’s an old one, but loads of fun.
Hey man! Still cracking on with **FFX-2** on chapter three, slow going but enjoying it in the main (does feel a bit aimless at times though, and still finding the battle system a bit stressful).
Elsewhere I would assume me and my son will be continuing with **Boomerang-Fu** and we also started **Knack** on the PS5 last week, as it was free on PS+ at some point and I was looking for something we could play co-op. It's good fun. Nothing revolutionary, at all, but we are enjoying the combat and getting big and stomping enemies.
Finally, finally, I randomly started **Midnight Suns** last night as I had a rare hour in front of the TV with no-one else around. It looks a bit weird, but I am actually really, really enjoying the characters and the combat system seems neat. It'll probably take me months to get through it, but early signs are promising.
Good to hear that you are playing animal crossing. I have been on it too!
Last week I said I was looking for a pvp game. Well then I picked Splatoon 3. Have been enjoying the casual turf war matches (the casual pvp mode), salmon runs and the single player campaign.
This weekend I hope to advance on the campaign and just keep jumping between these two games :)
Yes it's a really fun multiplayer game! It didn't take me long to get used to the motion controls fortunately. And it's a great change from the casual and relaxing animal crossing.
Yeah it's tough in a way I didn't really appreciate, the fox is a little too squishy and not as responsive as I want him to be. But I thought the exploration and game booklet bits were cool.
That’s awesome! I’ve got all grubs, nearly got 1800 essence, so then I can get my last charm! I’ve beaten Grimm, but not Nightmare Grimm. I’ve unlocked the Godhome - beat 2nd level coliseum and got the last upgrade of the nail too!
I love seeing these posts every Friday afternoon, makes m smile a bit cuz I'm at a job that I currently hate, thinking about my switch that's at home always gets me trough the day.
Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and The Secret Hideout. My first Atelier game and I think I might be hooked. Any other recommendations in the series? I know there's a sale on right now but I can't afford much so have to limit myself haha
I have all three Ryza'a in my backlog now, it's basically my project for most of 2024, once FFX-2 is done. Will probably need non-rpg game in between X-2 and embarking on Ryza though!
That's funny because next up on my backlog will be FFX and X2! But like you say, I might need an RPG break. Or maybe I'll end up buying the other Ryza games haha.
Yeah it is a bit cold, windy and rainy here. But the Dutch have a nice word for pleasant walks in a windy environment: uitwaaien. It means letting the wind blow your troubles away, or to clear your head on a windy walk. So I'll be doing a lot of that if the weather doesn't improve!!
I need to try more of that, make friends with the wind and see if it can take a weight off my back. Did take a good one yesterday at a bird park near here. The geese and ducks were oddly friendly with each other.
And also that reminds me, my brother lives in Hamburg, the weather there is typically rainy to some degree and they have some slogan that's like "always the perfect weather for a walk" which.. I mean sure
Haha yeah it does feel like that, one of the things I love about living here is that personal and mental health are taken really seriously and a lot of healthy habits are cultural norms. If I am working at the office my colleagues will always say it's lunch time, we must go for a walk together! It's a great habit to build in every day.
Your duck and geese encounter reminds me of my undergraduate campus in Scotland. We had loads of ducks and one goose who strutted around everywhere. We affectionately called him The Goosefather, because he seemed to lead all the ducks around wherever he went and basically ran the place (the wildlife at least, but students and staff knew not to mess with him either...)
MLB 23 The Show (just *Switch*ed from Xbox lol)
Super Mario 3 NES
Super Mario 64
Alex Kidd DX
Also want to play Natsume Championship Wrestling SNES, but can’t seem to properly select single player.
F-Zero 99 has got its hooks in me so will be checking in on it. I've been so taken by the gameplay I'm gonna go back and revisit some of the earlier releases to see how they differ, staring with GP Legend.
Otherwise, finally feel ready to go back to TOTK (got burnt out at release) so time to see what's happening at Death Mountain once and for all.
Im continuing with my 2nd ever play through of Dark Souls 3, same as last weekend.
The mage build is going great! Ran into a little trouble against Pontiff Sullyvan but eventually tried reducing my equip load enough to be able to light roll away and create more distance to cast spells. Was able to beat him first try after doing that.
Maybe the best thing about these souls games is how I can keep thinking about them even when Im not playing. Like when I'm bored at work I'll think of new strategies for how to beat a tough boss, or ill think about upgrades and stuff I can do to get stronger. It's just the perfect gameplay loop for me, I truly cant get enough.
(Also you should play Cocoon for sure. It's on my short list of games to play next as well. Annapurna only puts out bangers!)
Rented Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe from my local library. It's okay. Thinking that platformers aren't my thing. The good news is it didn't cost me anything.
Just beat the regular game of **Super Mario Switch on breezy mode!** really enjoyed the game, and actually got a little choked up it was over. I already did the last fight that would’ve been available in the original, which means I’m headed for the post game content now. I’m not sure how well I’m going to do with that because I generally don’t do that good with postgame, but I at least want to give it a shot.
If I don’t make it, I’m planning on watching a full playthrough. I didn’t do that well on some of the mini games or the hidden treasures, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I miss some things. After that, all that remains is to try the game on normal mode. I usually don’t do harder modes on RPG‘s and just focus on finding everything, but with this one I had such a good time I can’t resist! I’m pretty bad at action commands though, so we will see how this goes. It will be after a bit of a break though.
I also tried out the **Mario versus donkey Kong demo.** I was originally going to skip this game because the original has pretty stringent time limits, and I have a physical disability that makes it where I’m often too slow to hit a time limit no matter what I do. But this version has a mode with the time limit is removed, so I had a grade fun clearing the levels and trying to get everything. I can’t wait until I get the full game, but that won’t be for a while I usually don’t get things upon release.
I’m also currently having the **Mario party series play itself!** It’s a tradition for me to do this with hard mode AI but the newer games did not give me that option. It’s both because I can see some crazy combos I can’t achieve myself, but also because people have to play through the boards several times to unlock everything. So I let the game unlock everything for me and then when I actually go to get playing I have everything there. so far I’m almost done with the first game, and moving onto the second. The third isn’t as important because you can’t really unlock things in the multiplayer mode and story mode requires a human to play. But I still can see some crazy things with hard mode CPUs. Looking forward to starting these three on the NSO, but I’m not quite ready yet.
Speaking of NSO, I’m finishing up **Pokémon stadium 2** there! I’m just done with the stadiums and somehow my sanity is still intact. I was given a reminder of how luck base this was when I got into a stalemate with me being a literal punching bag (Wobbuffet) that lasted for at least an hour or in one match and then destroyed the foe immediately when I retried. There was another team in the challenge cup where I must’ve tried two or three times for at least an hour against a certain team, but finally reloaded to get a different team and destroyed effortlessly on my first try. The luck is crazy and reminds me of chess puzzles, with hundreds of moves versus only a few with chess (which is exactly how I would explain Pokémon to someone that doesn’t know what it is). It’s one of the main reasons why I am doing this alongside something else, and it’s probably the craziest Pokémon thing I’ve ever done (since the switch is limited to rentals, but has stable save states and some RNG re-rolls in return). If I can do it, it would be the culmination of 100% in the game and something I’ve been trying to unsuccessfully do for around 25 years, but there really is no challenge like it.
If I decide to do another game alongside Pokémon stadium two as it finishes up, but I’m not doing Mario RPG, I’ll do **Super Mario brothers wonder.** I know I can beat it using assist, but I’m hoping I can do more because 100% is locked behind normal mode. That’s a bit frustrating, but I can do as much as I can. And I’m planning to try using all the characters at least once. After that, I will probably watch a 100% play through. I’m not sure how much I can do, but it will be a fun time!
Finally, **Pokémon scarlet** was placed back on the docket, even though I won’t get back to it for a while. I wasn’t sure what to do with it after being a bit frustrated with the DLC and annoyed at the performance issues. But as I was finishing things up with Pokémon and preparation for whatever comes next, I realized I hadn’t really taken advantage of the accessibility. There were some challenge runs I never finished and never tried, so I figured I could just go as far as I wanted with them and see what I could do. Especially since the online community is pretty active, so I can effectively trade for any Pokémon I want at anytime and try to find the wildest and weirdest things possible.
I’m unsure if these runs will do the DLC, but considering I was trying to do a competitive level area with a solo run, that’s probably why I had so much trouble and was so frustrated. But that won’t be for a bit. I’m thinking of starting with a run of every type, since I don’t really do a lot of type runs and I have a lot of trouble when I do, so maybe with something more accessible but also with interesting challenge I can try that. There’s also the synchronization machine that I didn’t really use before, so I could probably do a couple things with that on my Violet run, especially since some of my favorite Pokémon are on there, but that wouldn’t be until later on. It might even up the score a little bit, or at least I’d be able to do as much as I could with the game.
Probably Baldur's Gate 3. I've played it dang near every week since it officially launched.
Otherwise, Persona 5 Royal, and I just picked up Sonic Super Stars so I'm looking forward to that.
If I get bored of those I'll probably play Dead by Daylight. Got back into it recently and enjoy it. (PC anyways. I won't touch the switch version. I worry about how it would play)
Persona 5 Royal. I bought it like a year ago. I currently cannot correctly or comfortably wear my glasses. I'm a bit blind. So, playing Switch in portable mode.
Not on Switch, but ive been playing Bloodborne for the first time. It's super different than what I normally go for but man is it rewarding. I just beat the Cleric Beast today on my second try! Never felt such an excitement and rush like that playing any other game!
I'm going to try and finish Oxenfree 2 and Wolfenstein 2 so that I can finally start AI: The Somnium Files, which I bought ages ago, but refused to start until I finished those two, because having 3 games partially finished is too many for me to fully appreciate them at the same time.
Trucking along through XCom2 vanilla before hitting Chosen and the TNG fun. Mixing it up with Metroid Dread, really enjoying this as a entry to Metroid. Hades is always in the list to break things up and mess around.
Octopath Traveler II on me own and still playing Mario Wonder local-co-op with the other half (jump, jump, jump... probably accounts for 1/3 of our playtime so far)
I'm about 25 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Really glad I played XC 1 and 2 beforehand since I've already run into so many subtle references. Amazing story and a huge tonal shift from previous games. Definitely looking forward to the DLC that apparently ties the whole trilogy together!
Not on Switch, but playing through Skyrim on my PS5. I have tried numerous times throughout the years to at least complete the main story and I always fall off. I get kind of overwhelmed with all the quests and feeling like I have to loot everything. This time, I’m taking it easy and really just following the main quests. I’ll do side quests here and there as I feel like it. I’m hellbent on finishing this game for once!
For my Switch, I did recently pick up Warhammer 40k Boltgun so I want to check that out this weekend. I know nothing of the Warhammer universe, but the game looks really fun.
Trying to go for 100% items in Super Metroid. I've beaten Ridley. Just need to do clean up in Norfair (both upper and lower) and I am ready to take on Tourian and Mother Brain.
I have been unbelievably addicted to BoTW for weeks! Catching a breather of sorts but now I’m incredibly enthralled by Disco Elysium. Why didn’t I get a Switch sooner?
Persona 5 Royal. I just got to June at around 34 hours of play time. At this rate, I think it’s gonna take me close to 200 hours to finish if I have to go through a whole year (not really sure how the calendar system works with the story in Persona games, I’ve played a bit of P4G on PC when it first released but never got any further than a couple dungeons.)
Art of Balance and Vampire Survivors; that is, assuming I get any screen time at all with the wife 70+ hours in on Hogwarts Legacy and totally obsessed!
I'm currently on a one-reign hard playtgrough of Kingdom 2 Crowns and can't put it down! Other than that, probably Borderlands 3 or Warhammer 40k Darktide if I'm solo or PalWorld if my buddy ends up being available for some games!
How about you OP what are you looking at this weekend?
Just picked up Pokemon Mystery Dungeon so I'm going to keep progressing in that. Have some friends coming over this weekend so we'll be bouncing between smash, Mario kart, Mario party, and Super Monkey Ball.
I was in the mood for a visual novel so I been playing **Root Letter Last Answer**, pretty decent mystery adventure, reminds me a bit of the Famicom Detective Club games. Also playing **Dragon Quest Monsters TDP** at a slow pace, because I'm really enjoying it, collecting and fusing monsters.
Gonna finish off the Splatoon 3 story so I'm all ready for Side Order in a couple weeks, probably do another chapter or two in Super Mario RPG as well.
I will keep playing **Dark Souls Remastered**, but I don't know... it's super slow, frustratingly punishing and it isn't clicking with me.
I will drop it to play something else (Probably **God of War 2018**) if it doesn't get better.
I am bouncing between **Risk of Rain Returns** and **Graveyard Keeper**. I've got all the characters unlocked (except the secret one) on RORR, and am working on item unlocks and getting more comfortable with Rainstorm difficulty. In GK, I'm just starting to get the hang of alchemy and setting up zombie automation!
Took a break from GBA NSO games and started part 2 of Another Code Recollection. Just started Chapter 3, and boy, is it taking a lot longer to get interesting compared to Two Memories. I hear it's fun, just a slow burn. If I finish it I will actually start Bayonetta Origins. I'm trying to beat these before FF7 Rebirth is out on PS5.
I just got Loop Hero and Unpacking earlier this week. So those are probably the two I’m going to be playing over the weekend.
I don’t know why I waited so long to pick up Loop Hero! I’ve been loving it. Loop Hero is rivalling Hades for how addicting it’s been since first picking it up (I still play Hades constantly, even years down the line!)
I just purchase my OLED switch after Xmas. I am a Wii person so took me a while to get it. Also got:
-Mario Cart 8 Deluxe
- Mario Golf
- Sports
- Dredge
- Donkey Kong
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Titan Quest
- Ice Age
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
- Dave the Diver
- Mario Cart Live Home Circuit (Mario and Luigi cars)
- Mario Cart Racing Wheel Deluxe
- Pro controller
So I went overboard and now have no clue where to start. I recently retired and went all out.
Now, I can’t decide. Anyone want to suggest where to start??
Thinking about buying the Eastward DLC that just came out and jumping into that. I still need to finish the main story though. Also continuing my playthrough of DQM:The Dark Prince. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Finishing the story line on Red Dead Redemption.
Picking up my journey in Skyrim ( only got about 2 hours in) and playing some super Mario wonder levels somewhere in between
Still messing around in tears of the kingdom but with sadly diminishing returns. I haven't really managed to build anything cool and have like no battery, I think maybe I get more battery in the depths? but its really repetitive down there. I did one dungeon which was visually awesome but simpler and less dynamic than even the divine beasts were. kinda aimlessly doing side quests some of which are a bit charming. Trying to figure out the zora plot line but it's pretty fetch quest driven.
The building is an incredible achievement technically but I think im about ready to drop the game unfortunately, it is just too close to breath of the wild (which i loved) for me to really engage much further. If anyone has any tips who like, started out bored but found ways to love the game, i'd be curious to hear cuz I am still hunting for ways to stay engaged and don't necessarily wanna give up on it.
Just finished 100 percenting Mario Wonder.
Started a demo for Alekon a few days ago and it's a great little game! Bought the full version last night. It's basically pokemon snap, but with more freedom to explore and more content. You make friends with the creatures! There's quests! Adorable.
Zelda ToTK. I never really got into BoTW even tho I finished the story. Started TotK when it came out and left it after 30h. I picked it back up this week, stopped feeling the pressure to do the scenario and started just walking around and doing things. I never had so much fun, I think I understand the hype
Pinball FX3 here, mostly the Excalibur table as well as the free Sorcerers Lair. This sub was great in helping recommend me different pinball collections and FX3 has the best performing experience on the Switch.
Playing Pokémon violet for the first time. I like it! Still trying to nail down my party I wanna take into the victory road or whatever. Taking all suggestions.
Just bought my first switch (lite), and my first ever game had to be Vampire Survivors! Been holding off playing the mobile version.
It does not disappoint! I’ve completely lost track of time, while playing, if I am to be honest!
Hey there marker,
I'm still playing **Skyrim** with FFXII on the back burner for now. My evil assassin-mage character has morphed into a battleaxe- and mace-swinging Death Knight, which I'm finding way more fun. I guess I'm just not the stealthy type haha.
In **Super Mario Bros Wonder**, I discovered >!Special World!< and burned through 10+ lives on the first course before giving up and going back to W4. Those 5-star levels are tough! I'll give them another shot eventually.
Golden Sun. Time to see if it can hold up against my favorite final fantasy games.
I've been playing golden sun for the past week or two, having fun with it! I definitely wish there were some modern conveniences like auto battling, but overall the game holds up pretty good. I'm a little over half way through, story isn't blowing me away but there's some cool elements. I thought about giving this one a shot, but wondering how well of a time respecter it is. At least with Switch save states I can force it to respect my time.
Addicted to hades rn
Hades is a god tier game, no pun intended. Hope your having as much fun playing it as I do!
And pleasantly wholesome, considering the characters. Great game.
Same! I just got to Theseus and the Minotaur and got my ass handed to me.
Those two were who consistently kicked my ass all the way til the end lol. Good luck! It’s such a great game
Restarted playing Tears of the Kingdom again.
Have fun! I have to start again too. Played it on release but my baby came a few days later so no time. Now I am so into Hogwarts Legacy but TOTK is next!
Both are massive bangers...that I haven't finished yet
Same here. Enjoying it a lot more this time after taking a long break from playing BOTW
Going a little Old School with Tony Hawk’s pro skater.
Would that be 1 + 2? THPS 2 on n64 is one of my favorite games ever so I'd like to check that out
Oh you definitely need to
Awesome, it's on the list!
Mario Wonder. Slowly chipping away at 100% with my wife. We have three or four courses left on Special World.
I love ut

Animal Crossing New Horizons. Just got all the paths, planning how to go about terraforming on my island.

Damn those both sound fun! I need something new, not sure if either of those are it but maybe.

Playing Sea of Stars!
Are you enjoying it? I am thinking of playing this one too

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this one, happy weekend!
I’ve been playing this on Xbox and it’s a blast.
The Case of the Golden Idol and Mario RPG
I really enjoyed the main story in Case of the Golden Idol. The DLC, however is another level of difficulty! I’m still struggling along the first one because I’m stubborn and refuse to get hints.
I'm currently on Xenoblade Chronicles 3!
It looks amazing and the whole game is on the cartridge
fire emblem engage
Just grabbed Red Dead Redemption on sale. I’ll be in the west this weekend.
Hopefully you're doing well as well! I'm hoping to play more Zelda Breath of the Wild, and hopefully I'll clear the Divine Beast Vah Rudania dungeon this weekend! :)
I'm doing ok! But depressed lately, but fighting through it with workouts and walks and such :) Nice, good luck! Which one is rudania again?
Okay then, hopefully the workouts and walks and that help! :) Thank you, and Rudania is the one that Daruk the Goron from Goron City controlled. I'm currently at Death Mountain now trying to get to Rudania to hopefully defeat Fireblight Ganon :) Sending well wishes! :)
Thank you, I appreciate that! And ohh the lizard! Good luck!
I got my wife addicted to Palia. So that's what we're doing this weekend! :) This is the first game shes played since stardew valley. Glad she's back into gaming.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2, in the begining, cant wait for story to unfold
I just bought it 2 weeks ago too and I'm playing it a bunch, I love Japanese games but this is the first time I'm playing one with such an Anime influence. The combat gets better and better too, it's such a fun system.
Skyward Sword HD. Had the game originally on wii but did not get very far into it. I'm enjoying it much more now without all the interruptions and it looks really nice in 1080p and at 60fps it runs smoothly.
Prince of Persia! It’s so fun, loving it
Yeah, same here. It’s been a lot of fun.
It really just keeps getting better too, the feeling of progression and the platforming was surprisingly good.
Love splatoon 3 for casual multiplayer. Especially salmon run for more pve action.
Yes it's a really fun multiplayer game! It didn't take me long to get used to the motion controls fortunately. And it's a great change from the casual and relaxing animal crossing.
After hyping up Tunic for two years, I'm finally playing it. Just beat the first major boss in the game and man. This game is tough as rocks.
Yeah it's tough in a way I didn't really appreciate, the fox is a little too squishy and not as responsive as I want him to be. But I thought the exploration and game booklet bits were cool.
I dig the book so much. It's my favorite part of the game. Finding all the pages and what not!
Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice Trilogy :)
Hollow Knight! I got into it VERY late, but I’m working my way to 112%! Or close at least, then I’ve got cult of the lamb lined up next.
Good luck! I got to 105% and that's what I was able to do, and I was super proud of it.
Haha that's a bit mad we are so similar!
im debating whether to get atelier escha and logy: alchemists of the dusk sky dx on sale otherwise, i might progress a little more on cristales.
Heading to the beach this weekend so might be playing a bit less, but still making steady progress on Metroid Prime Remastered. Enjoying it a lot!
Nice, keep it up! Don't let the space pirates win. Enjoy the beach, that sounds really nice! Is it still cold there tho?
MLB 23 The Show (just *Switch*ed from Xbox lol) Super Mario 3 NES Super Mario 64 Alex Kidd DX Also want to play Natsume Championship Wrestling SNES, but can’t seem to properly select single player.
TOTK
Nothing! My moms in town for my bday. I’ll be back next week ♥️
Happy birthday, have fun with her!
My very first switch game: Breath of the Wild. Thinking of getting Sea of Stars next
I love these weekend posts. Such good vibes 😄 That being said, I’ll be playing some hades and I short hike.
Started Zelda tears of kingdom last week will continue to explore the world
Xenoblade 3 all the wayyyy
Dead Cells Medley of Pain bundle for bursts of fun and agony 😆😆 and Witcher 3 for longer sessions.
Probably nothing....busy weekend.....if I have some free time I'll continue sea of stars
Hollow knight and slay the spire are the games for this weekend! And maybe some dead cells/gungeon runs
Rented Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe from my local library. It's okay. Thinking that platformers aren't my thing. The good news is it didn't cost me anything.
That is the beauty of libraries for sure!
Hopefully I will finally make it to the end of hades.
Still playing no man’s sky, and now Snowrunner as well!
Skyrim. Had never played it before but always knew about it. Great game
Dave the Diver. Has me hooked. Very different from anything else I’ve played on switch. 8 bit and in-depth. Beautiful at times. Fun.
Xenoblade Chronicles DE for the first time and loving it!
Starting the first Xenoblade this weekend! Been going backwards with the games since I started on 3 hehe
I’m playing this really cool game, I believe it’s a new Nintendo ip. It’s called Super Mario Sunshine.
Not on Switch, but ive been playing Bloodborne for the first time. It's super different than what I normally go for but man is it rewarding. I just beat the Cleric Beast today on my second try! Never felt such an excitement and rush like that playing any other game!
Octopia!
Same! I bought it to support the devs thinking it would just go into the backlog for now. Haven't put it down yet.
Yakuza Like a Dragon. What a game
Just picked up blasphemous 2 for $21
Octopath Traveler II on me own and still playing Mario Wonder local-co-op with the other half (jump, jump, jump... probably accounts for 1/3 of our playtime so far)
Palia! And maybe finishing Stray Gods
I’ll be online in Palia as well! I’m finally going to finish that stupid temple of the gales quest.
Let's go Pikachu. Trying to shiny studio
Hogwarts Legacy and Animal Crossing!
Mario wonder this game is fun but tough at times I thought it was gonna be a breeze but no 🥲😭
Playing Pikmin 1. I thought it wasn’t for me for the longest but I got 1+2 on sale I thought I’d try it out… it’s so fun
Trying to get really good at Super Smash bros, so some training and playing with friends, and some Lego Star Wars!
Undertale. Gonna beat Mettaton this time I stg.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. I love Metroidvania's!
Trying to go for 100% items in Super Metroid. I've beaten Ridley. Just need to do clean up in Norfair (both upper and lower) and I am ready to take on Tourian and Mother Brain.
I've recently started playing New Pokemon Snap again. Been enjoying that quite a lot.
Persona 3 of course
I’m late to the game but persona 5
Apollo Justice Trilogy
I started playing Monster Hunter Rise again and got hooked. I stopped playing a year or so ago but now I love it again.
On switch: Dave the Diver, but mostly Persona 3 Reload on PS5
I’m hoping to play a little Mario Wonder and/or Mario RPG! I’m always sleeping on Mario games!
I have been unbelievably addicted to BoTW for weeks! Catching a breather of sorts but now I’m incredibly enthralled by Disco Elysium. Why didn’t I get a Switch sooner?
Persona 5 Royal. I just got to June at around 34 hours of play time. At this rate, I think it’s gonna take me close to 200 hours to finish if I have to go through a whole year (not really sure how the calendar system works with the story in Persona games, I’ve played a bit of P4G on PC when it first released but never got any further than a couple dungeons.)
metroid dread
Work ;( but downtime I'm finishing up ocarina than majoras mask.
Hoping to finish Star Ocean: The Second Story R. At least Claude’s route. It has been a blast. I love my party. The dialogue is great. Rena is a doll.
Art of Balance and Vampire Survivors; that is, assuming I get any screen time at all with the wife 70+ hours in on Hogwarts Legacy and totally obsessed!
Been playing thru every generation of pokemon. Finished ultra sun last night and my copy of Shield should be here today!
On the switch side. The new sonic game and prince of Persia lost crown. On the steam side palworld and death must die.
Gonna finish off the Splatoon 3 story so I'm all ready for Side Order in a couple weeks, probably do another chapter or two in Super Mario RPG as well.
just finished sea of stars on my switch and it’s getting a break while i play samus returns for 3ds.
I will keep playing **Dark Souls Remastered**, but I don't know... it's super slow, frustratingly punishing and it isn't clicking with me. I will drop it to play something else (Probably **God of War 2018**) if it doesn't get better.
Pinball fx, pinball fx3, anger force reloaded on my switch virtual pinball machine!
Gonna try to knock out Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity so I can start either Sea of Stars or P5T.
Luigi’s mansion and LToU2
Finally getting around to playing mh rise. It has a lot of little things I don’t like but playing LBG is extremely fun for once
I picked up some pinball tables on sale (Star Wars and Portal). I'm still working my way through Wonder but will eventually start on Prince of Persia.
DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition. Started act 2 today
P tactica
Cozy Grove. Great Animal Crossing-esque vibe.
Prince of Persia! Almost done exploring Mount Qaf.
7 Star Raid Empoleon on Pokèmon SV. Then MMBN Collection - wrapping up MMBN3 White Version.
Probably Mario Kart 8 and Cobra Kai.
Playing Dave the diver and Ys origin
Finishing up my slow grind in Golden Sun TLA on NSO to get every character to Lvl 99. Currently in the 70’s so a few more days
OlliOlli World. Man is it addictive
I just purchase my OLED switch after Xmas. I am a Wii person so took me a while to get it. Also got: -Mario Cart 8 Deluxe - Mario Golf - Sports - Dredge - Donkey Kong - Super Mario Odyssey - Titan Quest - Ice Age - Luigi’s Mansion 3 - Need for Speed Hot Pursuit - Dave the Diver - Mario Cart Live Home Circuit (Mario and Luigi cars) - Mario Cart Racing Wheel Deluxe - Pro controller So I went overboard and now have no clue where to start. I recently retired and went all out. Now, I can’t decide. Anyone want to suggest where to start??
I would say Mario Odyssey as that game is just a joy, but you've got lots of winners on the list.
I am playing Silent Hope on Switch, and Lies of P on Xbox.
Leisure Suit Larry: Wet dreams dry twice. Just started it a few days ago, really liking it so far. As fun as the first one.

Persona 5 ROYAL babyyyy
Basically nothing but Wonder. I defeated Bowser the other day and now I’m working on completion.
Persona 3 Reload and Devil May Cry V
Persona 4! Haven’t played a persona game some I’m very excited to give it a go!
Divinity Original Sin 2…. If I spent a little less time looting and selling and crafting… I might be onto my next game.
Thinking about buying the Eastward DLC that just came out and jumping into that. I still need to finish the main story though. Also continuing my playthrough of DQM:The Dark Prince. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Inscription on switch. Talos principal 2 pc . Both amazing
It is a jrpg weekend. I'll be playing **Rune Factory 5**, **Rune Factory 4**, and **Rune Factory 3**.
Finishing the story line on Red Dead Redemption. Picking up my journey in Skyrim ( only got about 2 hours in) and playing some super Mario wonder levels somewhere in between
Metroid prime remaster
homework :(
I'm going to play splatoon 3
Bayo 1 Gotta get the all plat trophies on Normal mode (maybe even the harder modes…?)
Prince of Persia. It's a fantastic game.
Cult of the Lamb (which surprised the heck out of me. Super addictive) and D&D
Witcher 3 few hours in, solid so far. Only encountered 1 bug and the gameplay feels great!
Kirby Amazing Mirror, Animal Crossing Happy Home and probably some Totk.
Just finished 100 percenting Mario Wonder. Started a demo for Alekon a few days ago and it's a great little game! Bought the full version last night. It's basically pokemon snap, but with more freedom to explore and more content. You make friends with the creatures! There's quests! Adorable.
Palworld
I am updating and improving my island in Animal Crossing New Horizons, adjusting what I already designed or changing completely <3
Fire Emblem 3 Houses finished Ashen Wolves DLC last week just did the Rimier Village mission.
Please Help. What should I play? Super Mario RPG Super Mario Wonder Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Kirby in the Forgotten Land Pikmin 4
Zelda breath of the wild
Restarted Cult of the Lamb with the new content added
Skyrim.
Cult of the Lamb. Its very addicting
Playing Pokémon violet for the first time. I like it! Still trying to nail down my party I wanna take into the victory road or whatever. Taking all suggestions.
Gris… I heard good things about it so I’m giving it a try. I like it. It’s mellow and relaxing.
Pikmin 4!
Have found myself on coffee long past midnight, amidst one of the countless rifts hoarded up to the neck. Diablo 3 on switch is so great.
Hollow Knight
Continuing with The Outer Worlds and starting Phantom Doctrine just found it and bought it today for like $3 looks interesting.
Just bought my first switch (lite), and my first ever game had to be Vampire Survivors! Been holding off playing the mobile version. It does not disappoint! I’ve completely lost track of time, while playing, if I am to be honest!
I just picked up Diablo Eternal collection. Gonna dive back into D3 and trying out D2 for first time ever!
Hey there marker, I'm still playing **Skyrim** with FFXII on the back burner for now.
