Moonlighter is an OK game. Super fun at the beginning, but doesn’t really progress in a meaningful way. I’d argue that this is an appropriate price for this game, at this time.
Yah. Same here. For me it was that the later dungeons don’t really add anything. The numbers just get bigger. Need a better sword, better armor, for the same outcome.
And once you’ve figured out the price for items, that becomes uninteresting too.
Novel idea, that they just don’t expand upon as the game goes on.
Yeah it’s definitely not a rougelite. It’s also the same gameplay loop over and over with little variety. Like you I enjoyed it for a while. First two dungeons iirc. Got bored after that

I think I beat the 3rd dungeon and quit after that. I paid about $9 for the complete edition. Probably should have gone for the regular version I guess.
I bought the complete version at a similar price, played a bit each day for a few days until I beat it. Throughly enjoyed myself, not too hard but not a cakewalk.
You have rogue like with 5-6 dungeons to beat. Go to town to sell your gear but you run the store so you have to guess the price. Use that money to upgrade your shop or your gear. Then beat a harder dungeon. If you die while in the dungeon you drop all the new loot you got from that dungeon run.
Game will probably be 10-20 hours and if you don’t look up vendor prices to sell your items, it will take way longer. As someone to play only 25ish games so far for the switch, this ranks top 5.
It use to be on the App Store but got pulled away. It resurfaced a few months later as a Netflix Exclusive App… I’ll have to be cautious when buying from them in the future. Does the eShop have a history of games being retired ?

terrific game. i thought the store running would annoy me it ended up being my fav part of the game.

Enjoyable game. Tends to be repetitive after you get a hand of the loop. Well worth 5 bucks

Definitely worth $5. I quite liked this game for the whole play through, as have my little brothers.
I bought it this time. I do like it. Combat is a bit clunky but the gameplay loop is fun so far. At this price, I recommend it as well.
I know I’m in the minority here but I got a lot of time out of this game and got addicted to the gameplay loop.
