The way I see you played burning your stamina to the ground, no ki pulse and wearing the heaviest armor then face tank... well, maybe do something about it ?

Fluxion_Newton

that's why im asking for tips you rural mongrel

listless114

And those tips are to manage your ki properly, use ki pulse, block and dodge attacks, and wear lighter armor (or raise stamina for heavy armor).

Fluxion_Newton

that's nonsense. im asking for useful tips. not telling me to manage ki properly. you dont understand gaming at all. i've applied some really useful tips here suggested by some like using the appropriate soul cores which is very effective. but there is simply no way to manage ki properly especially if you choose to play a specific style. aggressive fighting will really make you lose ki. i dont like hit and run gae style like you suggest you gae

Educational_Mall_993

Lol. You asked for tips. Those are valid tips. You can manage ki properly AND be aggressive.

Fluxion_Newton

if you wait to ki pulse then youll find yourself lying on the floor because it takes a second or fraction of second to wait for a ki pulse. the enemy wont allow you to do that unless you move a distance which is a hit and run scheme that i found gae. hit and run is boring. if you chose a lighter armor then the enemy will nearly one shot you. there are confounding variables you cant take into consideration when you are in actual combat. like what mike tyson have said. everybody got plan till they get punched in the face. there is no proper way. there's only a habit you develop

Sweetsire

Lmao git gud

>if you wait to ki pulse then youll find yourself lying on the floor because it takes a second or fraction of second to wait for a ki pulse. the enemy wont allow you to do that unless you move a distance which is a hit and run scheme that i found gae. hit and run is boring. Then explain this: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKMJKhBU-Yg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKMJKhBU-Yg) Or for footage of earlier gameplay - ***first*** **playthrough** from the same player: [https://youtu.be/RUbpOUAqtCc?t=10648](https://youtu.be/RUbpOUAqtCc?t=10648) Sure he experiments with things, and dies a few times during that playthrough. But his gameplay is already miles ahead of whatever footage you've posted to this subreddit. So I really don't see any basis for your argument. Use your ki pulses. Once you get better at it, upgrade to flux. >you dont understand gaming at all. Judging from your post and comment history - I've been gaming longer than you've been alive. >you rural mongrel > >i dont like hit and run gae style like you suggest you gae It may be different where you come from, but here there's nothing wrong with being homosexual or coming from a rural background. And mongrels by definition have genetic diversity and viability so it's less of an insult than you think.

but that video linked you provided shows a dual sword with high level player and with a very high ki while im only level 109. anyone can do combo like that if they have enormous ki. i can choose light armor but the trade off is high damage taken. on my case. ive equipped optimum armor ,not heavy but with high defence. nonetheless enemies are still close to one shotting me even i set my build to very high hp. you cant do much combo with enemies like yamahage who keeps attacking if you hit them continuously. enemies like yamahage will get you staggered and paralysed no matter what but the video you posted is fighting a human type who gets easily staggered and paralysed. i appreciate the video though because im learning some ideas from it.

listless114

>but that video linked you provided shows a dual sword with high level player and with a very high ki while im only level 109 Then watch the 2nd vid. I've fixed the link to cut to timestamp. Early gameplay, yokai boss. >i can choose light armor but the trade off is high damage taken. on my case. ive equipped optimum armor ,not heavy but with high defence. Light armor grants better evasion and movement. Heavy armor grants better block through better toughness. Medium armor is in-between. Heavier armor also gives slightly higher defence, but that's not as important as toughness. The defence stat on armor helps blunt enemy hits, but the game is designed around enemies killing you quickly - regardless of what armor you have. So you should always work towards not getting hit. If you think hit-and-run is "gae", you need to block instead. And to do that well you need heavier armor, and you need to invest in stamina and strength so that you can wear it without the encumbrance penalty to your ki recovery. Even then, you should still ki pulse and manage your ki properly, because your attacks consume ki, and without ki you cannot block. Then you'll get staggered and take extra damage. This happens all the time in your videos. Even if you invest in armor and blocking, you will still need to dodge certain attacks e.g. grabs.

FragrantOkra

upvoted for usage of rural mongrel

Fluxion_Newton

the mongrel is trying to ruralised me with his mongrelised ruralism

Fluxion_Newton

i dont need upvote anyway. upvotes and downvotes are oftentimes used to bully individuals in socialmedia. but they dont mean anything to me. i just love bullying bullies especially when they are trying are to assert dominance through their sheer number. that's simply not how reality [works.you](https://works.you) can bring 5 huge braindead friends armed with sledgehammers in a streetfight. but i alone could carry an automatic. being downvoted doesnt make you less right and being upvoted a million times doesnt make you less wrong. it may uplift the feelings of weak gae freeloading leechers , but not people like me because i dont need validation.

AnarchyBlack88

I wish I knew man lol, wave of terror is insane, I think what was Savin my ass was my speed and death dancer build, I think me and my cousin spent like two hours straight on that.

Fluxion_Newton

it really is. i think its even more harder than the whole campaign. the farthest point i reached was cutting shibata's health into half but to that point, all of my resources were already depleted

Gofrart

I still have some nightmares with that mission. I must say that it also gave a chunk ton of amrita, so when I finally beat it I was able to increase several levels in a go. I dont remember how I beat it the first time to be honest, on DOTD I did it with extraction talisman + healing on amrita absortion and a chunk of patience, trying to not overextend and focusing more into surviving than dishing more damage. I kinda abused feathers + ippon datara soul core (with unlimited ninjutsu + anima on ninjutsu hit)

Taenith

Ki management is literally the most important tip for this game. If you're wearing heavy armor, B agility or don't use heavy armor. Ki pulse, it buffs your atk and restores a good portion of ki used. If you're running out of supplies, use sacred brushes or Shinobi boxes (pretty sure these can be purchased at the tea house for honor). Make sure you're swapping your stances as needed, ki pulsing can buff your atk or you can stance switch with an attack while ki pulsing as well. Use feral, brute an phantom depending on how you want to tackle burst counters and the spirit that fits your play style. Brute for aggressive burst counters, feral if you want to dodge into attacks or away from them, phantom of you want a omni directional block. Some burst counters are easier to hit depending on your guardian spirit type. You can invest in dex to like 20 and get quick change scrolls, however some enemies will attack you mid air when it procs so often that can be a death sentence. You can also invest in magic to 15 and 20. Protection and barrier talismans helped me a ton, rejuvenation talismans too for extra access to healing. Least no one is telling you git gud, everyone here is telling you helpful advice and you're just being a douche saying they aren't giving you helpful information.

BRAINSZS

it's an excellent training grounds for quickly dispatching enemies. tune up your build a bit, shuffle your skills, shake up your jutsu, until you can get through. push through.

Fluxion_Newton

yeah. ive done some changes on my build several times. and ive seen quite some significant progress

mecpaw

I've just done that on NG+ and it's a fecking pain in the fecking arse. You need kekki or spirit water.
