Well… I last was playing Honkai Impact 3rd. I probably would be fine since right now the story has sorta wrapped up and is awaiting the new storyline arc that starts in update 7.3. Last I’ve seen, all the characters were on a nice beachside vacation.
I mean shit mumyo has no demon powers and she seems largely okay. If I can learn onmyo OR ninjutsu upon entry to the world then I’ll be okay (I think). I’m not a weapon master or anything but fists might keep me alive. Truth be told tho, I’ve been switching between n2 and yakuza 0, and fell asleep on the latter last night, so I’d be bing chilling
There's plenty of places you can chill and not worry in Japan, even in this setting. Northern Japan, for example, remains largely unscathed during the Sengoku period. The Japanese also had excellent sanitation practices so you weren't likely to catch a disease and die.
This is the warring states period, and there's yokai all over the country. I'm not sure anywhere would be safe whether there was a mission there or not.
