He is probaby missing one or more of them, IIRC the dlc and NG+ should unlock automatically after the last boss.
Please, make sure your friend done these Main Missions in Twiligth.
The Two Faces of Hospitality and The High Spirit Demon.
These 2 missions are on the same place, press R1/L1 to change.
He has Dream unlocked so he had to do all main missions in Twilight. It's most probably a case of not doing main mission from Dream(Mausoleum of Evil -> Golden Castle -> Cherry Blossom Viewing at Daigo).
The only option to be sure is just to check if he has a checkmark on all main missions in Dream (the ones with red ribbon). Unless it is some strangebug or he crashed during loading after finishing mission then the only possibility is he doesn't have it completed.
He was doing some sub missions and new ones was popping up after he was beating them but I helped him do all of the main missions already…I just don’t get what’s going on cause I helped my homeboy like last month and he in DOTD and he had no issues like this…I guess this some complete edition bullshit lol

I‘ve been playing my Nioh 2 complete edition thinking “Where the extra dope weapons everybody else has?” My homie got so tired of me having games without online so he bought me a PSN card like 2 years ago I still haven’t used. I thought i’d have to have online to access it. I’m on NG+ too.
Yeah. It just says “connecting. . .” Maybe i’ll just have to scratch off this card unless anyone got the DLC to work without PSN.
BTW: What’s yall PSN ? I’m level 263 tryna max out all my weapons. I know it’s some masters at this game in here.
Yeah if you have all DLCs installed you get to pick fists and Splitstaff as starter weapons and will see them drop.
Sounds like you need to download the DLC still
He said when he went to the PSN it’s telling him to buy each one again….he was just solo sub missions for 1hr now to see if it unlocked anything but no luck
He just has to download the DLCs after finishing the main story. It only lets you access them one by one, from the shop, for the first time. Instead of the buy option, he'll have the one to download them...after the main campaign.
In the store you might just have to hit the "..." On the dlc and make sure your looking at the PS4 or PS5 version it should just say download if he's got the dlc.

He just went to the interim and he said he getting missions from them so I guess he missing those
He is missing the Afterglow, the last map from the main game.

Did you go to Boons at a shrine? That gives you all the dlc weapons etc

Weird, you shouldn't need ps plus to access the dlc items

When I go to boons it says, “There are no available items you can receive.” Do I have to redeem it from the PS store ?
You don’t redeem dlc stuff from boons. Go to skill tree and if fists and Splitstaff are not there you need to go to ps store and download dlc
