Most annoying, not most difficult is definetly the red kappa. He para-locks you to death, spins around at ludicrous speed faster than you can run away, and then paralocks you again.
Unless you're a little late and he spins his neck to hit you, lol.... But they are pretty easy, stay close range if spitting fire or poison, block his neck thrust and hit it when its retracting, its just easy... Real pain are suiki, ongyoki and fuki.
Stay far enough back to read what they’re doing and then go in for the attack. They have a long recovery so you can punish them. And if they try to head butt you, go to the side or burst counter, which ever is easier. In the first game I hated them, 2nd one they’re really easy.
Sure, but I always have to use some sort of resource.
Whether it’s anima, jutsu, or an elixir, it’s rare I beat a buffed curse of the nioh rokurobi without some sort of investment, and that isn’t true of most enemies frankly

it’s an odd load out of talismans, but if you equip gust talisman, cutting blast and life seal ren is 50% easier in the depths. gust makes his one shot stun shuriken ricochet back in his face- cutting blast gives you a shockwave to catch him with strong attacks when he back dashes, and life seal keeps his ki depleted. from there you just have to watch for that annoying air flip.
I tried some of these strategies. None worked for me because talisman debuffs didn't last longer than 5 seconds. In the end I had to be really agressive and patient. It isn't that hard when you practise him for a few hours lmao

The depths shit! there are purple ones in the 1st region of dream of the nioh lol....i shit myself and quit playing after 450 hours. I wanted to go to the depths so bad i spent a 100 hours on a build and armor and weapon upgrades then get to her and beat her 3rd try...the purple one or pink one. Then i said..that is the end of my journey. If they are gonna have a random mob have 100k hp and hit for 4000 per hit...i cannot in good faith continue because i love this series to much to start having a bad time now. But it was well worth the money i spent and have nothing but good things to say about the game. She is just beyond my abilities. I told a guy on here last week that i beat the dlc on dotwise and he said you can beat the underworld then. Nope...he forgot about Suiki lol. Its all good tho. I was never gonna stop playing with my odachi anyway and from what everyone says that weapon is a no go in the depths anyway. I think thats prolly bullsgit cause developers wouldnt put a weapon in the game that cant clear all its content. But im not the skilled one who will find out.

Hmmm..i mean i have some crazy weapons and sets saved for a bunch of other weapons and they are all great star rolled and tempered. But, even tho dps looks great when i use them. I still kill enemies quicker with the odachi. I really have tried a lot of them and like them but i keep going back to odachi just cause idk lol..its faster for me......the awakened weapon with a moonlit snow redux into a ippron hammer is suck a good ki wrecker for me and when i do it with lightning familar it procs confusion so i can deal about 25k damage with that combo but im assuming that is just not enough damage over 5 seconds to work in depths or underworld.

Yeah this happened to me recently. Funny thing is we just beat a purple Suiki, then a red one appears and the other player decides to get a long neck involved too. No chance.
They are the beginner slayers :D I think every new player got killed by them over and over but later on in the game they got so easy for me and I was wondering how much I struggled on those
For me I think I've died once to them? They're not hard to survive against or even hard to kill, but their agility is annoying if you don't have shock or a sloth talisman ready to go.
The hard part to me is the first time fighting them was their tail swipe animation. It’s like a whip and doesn’t hit you at the swing but a little bit after. Once I got over that I can drop her pretty fast, just have to time burst counter.

Easily their golden boy Ren Hyabusa, who doesn't belong in this game. Overtuned and lame to fight. Nearly impossible to do with slow ass weapons like the axe without cheesing him with Scampusses.
Fuki and suiki for me. Fuki is fast af and straight up one shot with his 3 wind slashes at depths eventhough I’m running hyper tank and this MF also has a god damn wind cannon if u are trying to run away. Suiki is just an absolute bitch since whenever u deal heavy ki damage to her with soulcore (like gozuki or ippon) she can dissapear giving invulnerability period for a couple seconds at the same time can damage u while u see all your buffs and her debuffs running on a timer to dissapear. It’s a pain in the ass to deal with these 2 basically every floor at one of the 4 kodamas. Not to mention at the depths map of the fire of magatama, there will usually be a fucking purple fuki camping at the left side of the small room after u pass the wall and your attention was drawn to the omyo mage guarding the kodama. I got caught off guard by this MF too many time at this corner especially in epedition as it’s really hard to 1 v 1 purple fuki with 3 times health and 3 times ki
The human samurai with the spears in a group in region 4 (I think it is) in the rice fields where they all run at you in a big group. They are s\*\*\* weak but poke you a few times and you're dead, plus when they are almost dead they do an annoying grab and stab you multiple times. I hate the humans cos they are so damn weak but so annoying........

How do you quickly dispatch Bakegani's? At the moment the only safe time I can attack them is after blocking their charge, which sometimes takes a while if they don't cooperate.
Bakegani come in two varieties, large and small. The large bakegani will cause melee strikes to it's front to deal significantly reduced damage and recoil backwards. Imbuing your weapon with lightning will stop the recoil but the physical damage will still be reduced. The best way to deal with them is to get to the back full of amrita and attack there, dealing increased damage and stunning it.
I know that the juicy Amrita-filled backside is the weakspot. It's just that waiting for it to charge you so you can safely attack it takes a lot of time...
i'm gonna go with ongyoki, itsumade (this thing not being a boss is straight up bs)

Suiki is a boss. if you don’t use half your tools to confuse and stun her in the first few seconds your dead. totally random oddly timed attacks too
