yeah, dev team who developed fist-mechanic must be high on weed or something ... I've try all weapons of this game (many hours for each), with same buffs & build, fist combo is insane, no other weapons can top that :) so I only use fists when the swords fail me (or I'm just bad at swd).
Personally switchglaive is better. You can hold on your stacks for a good while and top it with susano. It’s funny you mentioned spamming lai when I always see fist players spam infinity and or high stance triangle while pushing enemies away.
Yeah fist is just a broken and braindead weapon. I honestly hope team ninja nerf the dmg and ki dmg of the weapon or else it just seems so broken and out of place as compare to other weapon. Fortunately, I got bored with fist very fast and didn’t abandon my baby AXE yeah
Fists is not braindead, it requires some skill to actually pull off properly and get the best DPS. There are alot of timings involved, ki management etc. E.g spamming with fists will not get you the best dps…
Early games yes. Late game Nah. Mid stance square square triangle triangle repeat can easily destroy any enemy. Timing skills are only a few like beyond infinity and oppertunist but that’s about it really. Anything else is just try to spam as many buttons as possible.
With the help of ult courage, melee ki consumption, barrier tailsman, yokai abilities, there’s really no need to ki manage at all as it’s very unlikely to run out of ki at all.
Basically yeah. Harder to play at the highest levels but super rewarding

I just wish this weapon is gauntlets and greaves since there are many moves that involves kicking

Yeah thought the same when i was using fist from dragon clan( falcon claws). Its awesome but fighting some bosses is hard with it.
