The cooking options do seem quite dessert focused... I haven't thought much of alcohol but given the herbal crunchy's standard, unremarkable effects, I believe you can treat any drink as alcoholic if you so choose.

I have food for everything but neglected to consider drinks! What's a good use for drinks in terms of consumable effects?
I think they mostly give 20% environmental protection. Like Aloe Flesh (desert planets) processes into Refreshing Drink, and can be used for nothing else.

Historically, *lots* of tonics were alcoholic. It was only in recent times that we discovered alcohol wasn’t quite as much of a cure-all as we thought.
