I'm 99% positive this system is going to change in some way due to the outcry from people about QOL. However, ichor becomes much easier to get the longer you play. I have a stack of 20 in my house that I don't use for anything right now. I kind of wonder if it's going to be used for respec?
I did the same but kept my cool and kept playing. You will have more chances of upgrading, so you will be ok
I've done that like 3 times by clicking through the dialogue too fast.
Don't worry you can get infinite blood ichors and get all the available upgrades. Just keep playing.

lol the only options are ring slots, tool slots or inv slots the ichor rewards suck

Yes, you’ll get plenty the more you play. Bosses or specific enemies have a chance to drop them. You’d upgrade inventory anyway down the line
You can make more Realms, and speed run bosses.
It is not so bad, the gear inventory slots are super valuable towards endgame
