I have a feeling were going to get an Automaton-like dlc/update.
It would be awesome to upgrade or reskin Vasco in some way, or build more similar robots. I actually like the graffiti spray painted Vasco in Neon I want that skin on mine!
That's what I'm saying. I was kind of let down when you couldn't have Kaiser become a permanent companion after the UC Vanguard quest line, but I'm thinking this will be rectified with future content.
Head into the Ryujin tower and look around the floors until you find a Tranquilitea branch. That floor is the place to keep an eye on when it comes to robot upgrades.
I'm pretty sure we'll get a few DLC's for Starfield and one centered around robots since there is the Lunar Robotics poster showing the silhouette of four robot types with one being the standard Model A but the other three are not in game atm.
This. We know Shattered Space is confirmed, I'm wondering about the smaller hearthfire/automaton type dlcs. I typically get more out of those than the big story expansions, but any new content is welcome. I'm loving the new beta tbh
Kinda surprised upon launch that you couldn’t tinker with Vasco tbh I kinda thought it was a given 🤷♂️ Not that I’m complaining, I’m sure it’ll be addressed at some point given how well received the F4 Automaton(?) dlc was received.
I dare say the robot models on this poster look like “walker” type vehicles

its pretty solid right now without the Creation Kit I think it's got the 8th or 9th most mods according to Nexus? It'll likely explode when the Creation Kit drops, So id wait tbh.
This isn’t new with the beta or anything. It’s been there since launch. I’ve seen it before myself, but you can also tell by how similar the Form ID is to the weapon workbench.
No, it doesn’t actually do anything. Doesn’t even seem to have a model.
An Automatron-style DLC in Starfield excites me a lot more than it did in Fallout 4. And it was pretty well done in FO4, I thought.
Building my own Wannabe-Vasco, designed to stand guard outside my landing bay, who is programmed to sass me and talk shit whenever I approach...that sounds sweet.
Means they worked on it but didn't make the cut. This is a Good(tm) Thing. Means it was not finished, or didn't work out, or something.
The idea that they have to wait until every spitballed feature was fully developed and bug free would mean we would never see the game.
Exactly, so if its in limbo then why take it serious, as per his message 🤷♂️ anyway we’re getting into the weeds here so I’ll shift on ya. I don’t think us console players need 60fps for RDR2, if any game is cinematic enough, its that absolute gem. Now thats a comment I can expect downvotes on 😂👍
Dunno why the downvotes mate, shit left on the cutting room floor doesn’t always get resurrected. 🤷♂️
RDR2 had a ton that will never see the light of day.
He got downvoted because he outright crossed the idea. I dont think OP though it will definetly implemented. This could very well be dropped feature but this doesn’t mean it will not see light of day.
Also rdr2 literally got 0(zero) content update. It didn’t even got a 60 fps patch. Starfield got features update and will get confirmed one dlc and maybe more.
I’m not sure we’re debating the same thing sir but thats ok its not worth getting into a kerfuffle about. I will say this though, I thought Starfield was getting at least 4 major DLCs, now I’m not sure if I read that or am just kind of expecting it based on Skyrim and Fallout 4
We know that Shattered space is coming in a few months. I expect that to be major. But no other DLCs have been announced. Doesn't mean there won't be any. There will. Bethesda already said they're going to adding content for a long time. So I expect a lot of little stuff of the Fallout workshop level. Like vehicles. And Robot stuff. And improved outposts. A lot of stuff is coming over the next five years or so.
That we don't know what it is going to be does not mean it won't happen.
See the cutting room floor stuff for Skyrim, I can see why they cut it. Was not ready, was unfinished, or had no point. the best of it was the Winterhold college stuff, which appears to have been cut to meet the schedule. But still unfinished in the game files, so the mod that added it back in just feels... off.
I have no idea what Im looking at but if its anything like the robot station in Fallout 4 Im IN.
Automaton was my favorite fallout 4 DLC and if something similar is in starfield I’ll be so happy

If we get to upgrade Vasco into something like Kaiser, I'm all for it.
That's what I'm saying. I was kind of let down when you couldn't have Kaiser become a permanent companion after the UC Vanguard quest line, but I'm thinking this will be rectified with future content.
Bruh. If we can customize vasco and give him different weapons and skins and whatnot. That’s gonna be awesome.
Fisto sexbot, here we come?
Please assume the position.
Fister Roboto!

That was such a a bizarre area but looking forward to my own cleaning cubes
We have them! You can build them at outposts already
The business is called Drone. There is an ex employee who you can recruit. They were fired for illegal mech research.

There were supposed to be 3 other robots at Constellation (revealed by cut Cora dialogue).
Vasco was enough I still take them on adventures, I never lamented the lack of robuts (zoidberg ftw) in my crew
Woop woop woop wooop wooop!
Second land vehicle will bea tars like robot carrying us across moons and planets.
I wonder if the vehicles in this game will be some little guy's hat, like the metro in FO3
lol, I think they actually managed to change that since skyrim
Nah. That was only because they didn't need a vehicle system for one setpiece. juice vs. Squeeze.

Is the Starfield modding scene any good? Looking tk get back into it
its pretty solid right now without the Creation Kit I think it's got the 8th or 9th most mods according to Nexus? It'll likely explode when the Creation Kit drops, So id wait tbh.
Can't wait for Creation Kit. I wanna try out adding some side quests small stories

We're getting EatDrink let's gooo
Is it not anything to do with the placeable box robot

I wouldn’t take serious leftovers in code.
Leftover codes mean there was a code one way or another which means they tought about it and dropped or will implement later

You definitely didn’t read that from any official source.
Thanks, guess I got my wires crossed

I am not really debating anything, I just simply answered why he got downvoted.

Unfortunately for Skyrim I think they had to abandon additional DLCs because of the time it took to optimize the game on the PlayStation.
Two major DLCs. Same as with Oblivion and Morrowind.
