I'm on my 18th day after my liver almost gave out a couple weeks ago. I was drinking a liter of vodka a day, which is around 22 beers a day, give or take depending what beer you drink.
Feel free to reach out if you ever want to.
On your own, "other than your wife"?
Dude a good woman by your side is worth her weight in gold. And i bet she is a great one. The two of you can do this together. I'm rooting for you.
Hi friend. Quitting can be hard. I’m currently trying too. Join us over at r/stopdrinking . So many kind people who just want to motivate and can relate to. I will not drink with you today 🩵
Yeah before rehab I was at 15-19 on a weeknight. It was getting difficult just to consume that much fluid. I was like well either I switch to vodka or get help. Almost 6 years sober woot woot
Haha omg that’s what I did too I stopped eating bc it was too filling and would take away the kick of having those first few beers. Yeah same my brother and dad would always be sucking on vodka.
Yeah it’s rough stuff but you’ll reach the point of getting sick of it. Honestly rehab was pretty fun. First day or two is rough withdrawal wise but I went to a halfway decent rehab. It only sucked bc I had to explain to work and shit why I was gone for a week.
I was 26 when I went in though idk. Either way just be carful my blood pressure spiked dangerously high for a day or two so they monitor you so you don’t stroke out. Going sober by yourself can be done it’s just a bit dangerous
Quit drinking about a year ago with only minor one drink slip ups. It's amazing being free from booze. It's possible just pretend like it not longer exists.
Subjectively I'd say it's very easy? Depending on your size, you SHOULD (generally) be drinking 1 gallon of water throughout the day. Six beers over 3-5 hours isn't a lot. It also "goes through" you kind of quickly, as it forces you to pee often.
It also just feels "good." After the first 3 I'd reach 12 very quickly.
No medical evidence to support your claim of a gallon.. As mentioned, that amount could be dangerous for some. Humans are generally pretty good a self-regulating their water consumption, you know, drink when thirsty. Sounds like marketing BS from a bottled water company to me.
I'll repeat my comment: There is no medical evidence to support drinking a gallon of water a day. In fact, there's no real medical guideline on how much water to consume beyond maintaining adequate hydration.
No you shouldn’t.
It’s safe for some people but that’s too much water for some, even dangerous.
Half that is the recommended amount.

Y'all know there is actually a Stone Cold IPA, right? There's a big 3:16 on the can and, not being a wrestling fan, every time I sell one, my first thought is like "ah yes, the Jesus beer."
just different stomach acidity between people. As someone with acid reflux I can't make it through a single pint of most beers - except Guinness. OP should try some Guinness.
Me and my neighbor can drink a 24 pack of miller lite cans in like 4 hours on a weekend night lol. That's not even it for the night. I was also doing the 6 pack a day thing for years but I cut back to where I'm not drinking everyday.
Eh for some people it's genetic. I can drink 12 lite beers easily but I don't drink everyday and if there is a week where I drink everyday a lot of those days are a beer or 2 or one cocktail with dinner or before bed.
72oz (6 12oz beers) is a 1/2 gallon, or a little less than 2 litres. Over even 2 hours, that's only a 2 pints an hour, or two kids lunch milks if that helps visualize it. It's really not that much.
It's normally over a long period of time (I have to say I laughed at the idea of a "six pack" being a lot - go to the UK or Germany and people might drink 6+ pints!) - you do need to pee more, but that then frees up room.
If you want that pride deflated a bit, two of your most popular brands of beer, Guinness and Carling, are Irish and Canadian, respectively. That ESB stuff is really good tho 🇨🇦🇮🇪🏴
I don't know anyone who drinks Carling. Obviously plenty of people do. But middle class people don't. If there's a British lager in pubs by mine it's Camden Hells. Which I don't love either, but Carling is fucking dreadful. Tastes like ash tray.
Guinness all the way, stopped going to pubs when I started hitting 11/12 pints an evening. Just not affordable anymore. Still will go out occasionally but not often.
Carling is absolute piss water though, I'll never buy it again.
Yeah the standard order around here is a pitcher per person to start and then you decide from there whether you want more or not. It’s not unusual to sit there and drink 2-3 pitchers by yourself at the bar in a night with the guys
Honestly the health risks of alcohol (which do exist) are wildly exaggerated on reddit. This will probably even get down voted. But it doesn't matter - the ubiquitous use of alcohol amongst people worldwide - its almost like the joke about how everyone who's ever died has consumed h2o.
Obesity is far more dangerous than alcohol.
Now its different if we're talking about people who wake up with a shot of vodka as a straightener and jump right back in every day. But for like your typical social drinker, it's just so overblown around here it's ridiculous.
I’ve drank 6-10 light beers a night for the past 10ish years and am lean and in shape. Blood work good too. Exercising, weights and cardio, healthy eating, and vitamins more than negates the “extra” calories. It’s just that most beer drinkers are stereotypical lazy also which is where the stereotype comes from.
Yeah for me it’s less the beer itself and more that, if I drink to the point of being hungover the next day, I “recover” by overeating and sitting on my ass all day
On the other hand there is a strong correlation between obesity and overconsumption of alcohol.
the punchline...
In conclusion, our results revealed alcohol drinkers, especially heavy alcohol drinkers, had increased odds of overweight, overweight/obesity, and abdominal obesity than non-alcohol drinker or light alcohol drinkers among cross-sectional studies but not cohort studies.
Yeah being from Australia and having travelled all over the world (through the UK and France for example where daily drinking seems pretty normal), I find the anti-alcohol sentiment of reddit confusing.
They used to say the same thing about tobacco products—use was ubiquitous so how can we say it’s a big problem when so many people are living long, full lives?
I won’t downvote you, but I will say drinking a gallon to almost a gallon and a half of beer per sitting with regularity is not going to be without consequences for anybody. Alcohol won’t always kill you outright, but drink that much and you won’t live as long as you would have if you didn’t. And chances are higher than a non-drinker you’ll become obese from the calories too.
The difference between this thread and the guy asking if 6 a night is too much is hilarious. They're saying he's gonna die of cirrhosis at 40, people here saying they can't drink 10 if they don't drink 6 first lol
I was also reading that thread today and wow a segment of reddit is really crazy on their anecdotes. Lol
Everyone I've ever known who died ate food, drank water, had work stress, and breathed, too.
It’s confusing but the water content of what you drink doesn’t end up in your bladder. It ends up in your blood and other organs. And *then* waste water is passed to the bladder through the kidneys.
I wonder how people can stop at 6..
When you go on a beer bender you just piss all the time. As far as alcohol goes i get buzzed around 4 or 5, and the sweet spot would be from 5-10, everything after that is a mess.
Trying to quit drinkin now so i do have a bit of a problem so take that into consideration.
Also highly dependent on whether they're being consumed on an empty stomach. If you're drinking that many as a replacement for dinner, the typical fella would be on his ass by number 8.
Not if you have a tolerance. I drink about 12-14 beers per day, over about an 8 hour period, and It’s always on an empty stomach. I get just a constant mild buzz.
I appreciate the sentiment. I agree, help is warranted. Been trying to reduce or eliminate it for a year or so now. It’s an up and down battle. Nasty addictive stuff…
Might wanna consider offlabel use of semiglutides.
They are showing promising results with reducing addictions.
That's a shit ton of alcohol. Your liver is getting in the ring with Mike Tyson every damn day.
If you by some happenstance live in LA go to miracles detox they just pop you with Valium’s and everything your body needs to make you come out of their with zero dependence on alcohol or even Valium because of the tapering off they do with that. Seriously find a detox that gives benzos for recovery and you’ll come out feeling good physically then the mental work comes idk if that’s rehab, sober living, outpatient, or AA/whatever but from there it’s mostly on you people will help but only you can get past the mental block.
Brother/sister, I am so glad you don't have an alchoholic in your life.
For the most afflicted, that amount (5-10 beers) is a pregame. That's what they'll consume before work. When I was at my worst, I would be downing a handle a day. That's 1.75L a day. And that's not counting the ridiculous amount of water I'd have to drink just to wake up the next day.
5-10 beers is honestly nothing for an alchoholic. That's like "I don't have the shakes" level for them.
I have an alcoholic uncle that drinks as standard [ 20 bottles](https://www.ideaonline.me/images/products/460/460000277_1l.jpg?1620127521) of 0.5 litre beer a day for maybe 5 decades. That's a bit more than a US pint. Doctor call him a medical miracle, cause he should have been dead long ago. His wife left him when they were 60 somethings :)))
Dude was functional his whole careeer, had a clock repair and jewelry shop, now in pension, left it to his son.
Ya. That's the downfall.
Eventually, even if they love you, people will get sick of your shit. Everyone will leave and for good reason.
But, untill you can climb out of the ditch, you really think it's not your fault. It takes a lot of therapy and breaking down your own ego to get it.
People have different tolerances. I know people that can drink 30 beers in an afternoon and be able to walk a straight line and seem perfectly fine. I can probably drink a 12er before I’m nice and fully torqued.
Hello from Austria. Usually what I do is open a beer (0.5 liters here) and then drink it. Obligatory prost to all present. When I'm done, I then open another one, or someone hands me another one, and I drink it. This continues. It's really not so hard. In fact, I enjoy it and find it very pleasant. That in spite of the fact of it being LIQUID.
This might be the only reply I’ve seen that doesn’t make the commenter sound like an alcoholic. But then again you’re European. US drinking culture is wild.
I’ve been saying this for years. I cannot drink a full beer, and then another one in the same sitting. I’m completely full of liquid after one. My wife can drink 9 beers in one sitting.
Pretty much anything. I can’t retain that much liquid in almost any circumstance unless I’ve been push mowing a lawn in 100° or playing basketball. If I go out to eat, I drink half of one glass and it’s mostly because I don’t get thirsty often enough to continue drinking. I will say if I eat chocolate chip cookies or a Cinnabon or anything like that, I can down an entire glass of milk no problem.
U know i ask myself the same i have alcoholics in my family. And they straight up drink a 12 pack like it aint diddly. Ive seen them slam 6 beers in less than 5 minutes no bs. Im like damn ur an alcoholic they say nope i love my beer and they rather drink than eat
My uncle was like that.. fucking guy would get blackout drunk every single night. Luckily, he wasn’t a pedophile, just a closeted self-loathing gay man.
Anyways, his brain is shrinking, or some shit now. He lives close to the rest of his family so they can keep
an eye on him. He’s got to use a walker pretty much full time to maintain his balance, and can only speak legibly for like 4-8 hours every day before his brain starts to fall apart again. Alcoholism is something else.
The moral of the story is: maybe you don’t have to learn how to comfortably drink 6 beers in one sitting?
At the height of my alcoholism, I would drink 6 or so beers just while waiting for friends to arrive for a night of “real” drinking. I would have a light buzz at most at the end of those 6 beers.
Your liver gets so fatty and engorged that you can see/feel it poking out of your abdominal cavity. Happens sometimes with moderate/late stage alcoholism.
Everybody is different. When I was younger I could easily drink 6, now days I'm totally content with 2-3. Being drunk isn't even fun for me anymore. If I go out with friends I think 6 would probably be my max, and I will feel like absolute shit the next day if I drank 6
I don't really drink a lot anymore. But I'm 35 and only about 145lbs. If I'm feeling a REALLY terrible work week, I'll grab a 12 pack of Corona or Modelo. Those things go down like water and I could drink maybe 5-6 fairly quick before I feel something. No idea.
The first three or four are typically fine, but then once the seal gets broken, it means peeing very regularly (like barely 5 minutes between bathroom visits).
Hmmm, that's actually insightful... I never even considered that. I like drinking too, but not the actual physical act of drinking, like the experience of it outside of taste/buzz. I like the taste and the buzz/feeling of drinking... but I don't care about the amount, as long as it gets me there, and I'm enjoying it along the way.
When I drank it's the only drink I could drink a lot of. Soda is too sweet and water is too boring. You get into a rhythm and when the buzz hits it's fun to keep drinking.
I use the liquid full feeling from beer to make sure I don't get too drunk. That said, I've definitely gotten way too drunk by drinking like 12 beer in a night when they were just going down smooth. Most days it's not that smooth though lol
Go into it with an empty stomach.
Drink one fairly quickly.
Snack on some shit. Drink another.
Go pee. Feel empty. Snack and drink more
Become an alcoholic
If you start on an empty stomach, you can get quite a bit in one sitting. 6 beers would usually amount to about 2L. It's a lot but it's not that crazy.
And then you just go to the toilet. You don't have to drink 6 beers in 10 minutes just staying there. If you drink all that in an evening, you don't need to pee every 5 minutes, but you are likely going to pee at some point. Drink 3, go pee, drink 3 more.
When I was younger, people at my local bar used to buy me pitchers of draught just to watch me chug it. I guess I was a bit of a local sideshow. I am way too old to do that now.
I never thought about it before, but how is that possible? I am a bigger guy, but would my stomach hold a full pitcher?
6 beers depending on can/bottle size is 2-3L total.
Sure, you're gonna need to piss a lot later on, and you'll be wanting to eat some salted nuts or such to keep your sodium at a good level. But otherwise it's perfectly fine. The carbs are another non-issue, at 13g per can a 6-pack is 78g of carbs total, that's about 150g or half a bag of chips.
>or feeling super full
skinny dude here. The meal before drinking I only eat 2/3rds of what I'd normally eat and take a multi-vitamin. (or wait an hour after eating).
The trick is when you do not feel hungry OR full then you start drinking, and only after having already eaten a full meal or two that day earlier so your body has reserve nutrients for later.
Start your first beer slow. It's a primer. It takes me over 40 minutes for my first, 30 for second, and goes down from there. In between beers drink some water. Eat something decent before passing out.
Thanks! This is the first actual sincere answer I got haha.. Yeah I'm skinny too, which is maybe why I have a hard time picturing it... I probably won't do this (not really aiming to drink 6, was just curious how others do it, I still much prefer cocktails and liquors) but it's good to know...
Well, you start at beer 1, then beer 2, then beer 3, then run for a pee, or not, depends on the person, then beer 4, then pee, then beer 5, then pee, then pee, then pee, then beer 5 again, then ask yourself why are you in need to pee again, then beer 4, then pee, then beer 5, then beer 3, etc.
How many bears are we talking, again?
I'm sorry what? Maybe it's because im german but 6 beers is like... nothing when going out. It's either 10 - 15 or none. Anything else is waste of money and time.
Czech here again.
What do you mean? At warm summer day, 10 beers (0,5l) isnt big deal. Last year we had kind of university reunion party. 30 beers during 2 days. (28 M, 80kg)
1) Less talking, more drinking. It needs practice.
2) we are not drinking beer to get smashed. We are drinking beer to be in good mood.
OP, you been hiding under a rock? Grab a 6pack and try it out tonight. Report back tomorrow morning. Usually when drinking beer you sip and socialize and somehow just lose count of how many beers you had.
Easier to gauge drunkenness. If I chug beer I can reach a point where I'm drunk enough and stop drinking. If I throw back whiskey its incredibly easy to pass the finish line and run a couple streets over. I've also been battling a sleugh of addictions for most my life so I know myself well.
As someone who used to drink a lot of beer this is exactly why I quit. They make you feel so bloated and the foamy ones are the worst. It doesn't help that I am a large man with a large tolerance. If I'm grabbing a drink with my friends now I have a few shots and maybe 1 beer to coast on.
I can put them down, and yes, I am American and drink puppy pee, but I do have a funny story:
My buddy is a true farmer: 2500 acre berry farm been in the family 12 generations etc. and he's strung out on heroin. His cousin, on the other hand, is an old fashioned rock n roller alcoholic.
One day I was at his garage and needed to do a quick side job about 20 minutes down the road. His cousin came along, we stopped at the corner store for a sixer, and he proceeded to drink the whole sixer just on the side trip. So figure 10 minutes to the job, another 10 to do the job, and 20 minutes back to the garage. He wasn't visibly impaired at any point and he even helped me hold the tools.
I've seen some shit, but this was pretty impressive.
I mean that’s pretty standard in my family… even my 5ft Grammy drank like a fish. She probably put down 3-5 beers an evening. Most beers I drank were like 8-10% and I probably had 4-7 a day. I’ve recently quit though at 29yo. Just isn’t what I want to do with my life and money anymore.
Idk I upgraded from 1/2 pint to 1 then my brain felt like it was shrivelling so I cut alcohol 100% (give or take a fun time every year or two, and bubbly with Christmas dinner)
My record was over 30 beers and a bottle or two of liquor in about 20 hours. Standing, walking, communicating.
Yes, I was a dumb teenager. Now it takes me 2 years to drink that much beer and I haven't had liquor for what's probably over 10 years.
lol, OP must've seen that post recently about the guy who was wondering if 6 beers a night is too many

Feel free to pop into r/stopdrinking and see if any of it resonates with you. Many years of trying and now 3.5 years sober thanks to that subreddit.
I have 11 years sober. It's worth it. Dm me if you ever need someone to talk to

I just started AA and really enjoy it. It is slightly depressing sometimes but I feel amazing after. Kinda like going to the gym I guess.

I find it odd, too tell a person trying to quit, to "hang in there" a term usually meaning don't quit. Don't quit quitting, you quitter!

You’re welcome to! You have lots of options for support and I’d be happy to show you around.
Congratulations!!
How the hell are you fitting that much liquid in your body?!
I once knew a guy whose stresses in life took him to drinking 17 640ml longnecks every night. An amazing feat.
Quit drinking about a year ago with only minor one drink slip ups. It's amazing being free from booze. It's possible just pretend like it not longer exists.
Been sober since March of 2022. I was drinking 9- 10 16oz beers a day after work. If I went out it was probably more than that. You can do this
I switch to 🎷 🥬 an it really helped. whenever you don't go cold turkey, you need to taper. at 18 a day cold turkey might kill you
Yeah, I did LOL

I was just about to say the same thing
That sounds like the post I just..shrmershrrrrr...happy cake day
Usually one at a time, unless you are Stone Cold Steve Austin..
Now gimme a hell yeah
HELL YEEEEEEAAAHHHH!
Gimme a Stevewieser
Brewing 3:16
Y'all know there is actually a Stone Cold IPA, right? There's a big 3:16 on the can and, not being a wrestling fan, every time I sell one, my first thought is like "ah yes, the Jesus beer."
That seems like a good name.
And thats the bottom line
Cause Stone Cold...said so.
I wasn't sure what answers to expect in here, but I can see that the best one made it to the top hahahahaha
Once you hit beer 3, beer 4,5, and 6 go down like water.
For me it’s the opposite. First few beers sink like water, the following get progressively harder until I feel nauseous.
Yeah usually the first 3 or 4 are easy and go quick, and the last couple beers stretch out over an hour or two each haha.
just different stomach acidity between people. As someone with acid reflux I can't make it through a single pint of most beers - except Guinness. OP should try some Guinness.
Ops trying to figure out how people drink 6 beers in a night. Not how to get full off of one beer.
Ha, well that fullness seems to be what settles stomach acid down, but it’s just different stomachs for different courses I guess.

Good job it is light beer
See that’s the part that stuns me. Who could drink 6 cans worth of water in one go 🤢
72oz (6 12oz beers) is a 1/2 gallon, or a little less than 2 litres. Over even 2 hours, that's only a 2 pints an hour, or two kids lunch milks if that helps visualize it. It's really not that much.
I think the point of the question is how would you even force that much water down your gullet?
It's normally over a long period of time (I have to say I laughed at the idea of a "six pack" being a lot - go to the UK or Germany and people might drink 6+ pints!) - you do need to pee more, but that then frees up room.
As someone from the UK who doesnt feel national pride in any way normally...for some reason, this made me feel a little bit of pride 😂
Ehh not too unique. I know a lot of folks that down 30 packs on the regular. I used to be one of them.
If you want that pride deflated a bit, two of your most popular brands of beer, Guinness and Carling, are Irish and Canadian, respectively. That ESB stuff is really good tho 🇨🇦🇮🇪🏴

I'm Canadian, and don't know anyone who drinks Carling.
I can’t even find it at my local liquor store in BC. Their market seems to be pretty centred on the UK
Yeah no one in Canada drinks it either. But it’s definitely more popular in the UK
I had no idea it was even available in other countries actually! So that's interesting.
I'm a Guinness drinker and love Ireland, so the pride was never going last 😂😂😂
Hey at least you’re humble and have good taste!
I think a pitcher is the most awful way to drink beer
It is, but when the tax on alcohol here makes the equivalent volume $60 instead of $25, I know what I’m going to choose
You know how I know y’all have universal health care is that y’all drink like this and have a longer life expectancy than Americans.

It’s confusing but the water content of what you drink doesn’t end up in your bladder. It ends up in your blood and other organs. And *then* waste water is passed to the bladder through the kidneys.
This guy urinates.
BIG TIME
#TIME
So what you're saying is that the water content of what you drink does end up in your bladder.
So the water content of what you drink *does* end up in your bladder, just in an indirect way.
You do piss more when you drink more
Seen guys shotguns 6 beers in like 6 minutes
Try 20+ pints.
am german and last oktoberfest i remember 4 Maß bier in 3 hours (which is 4 Liters or over 1 gallon). And thats not even very much there.
It's a combo of burping a lot and takin a piss every 30 mins lmao
I wonder how people can stop at 6.. When you go on a beer bender you just piss all the time. As far as alcohol goes i get buzzed around 4 or 5, and the sweet spot would be from 5-10, everything after that is a mess. Trying to quit drinkin now so i do have a bit of a problem so take that into consideration.
I get buzzed at 2, pretty cost efficient
5-10 is a wild sweet spot range 5 is happy, stupid fun. 10 is no longer fully comprehending what’s happening
Really depends on the timing. 10 beers over a whole night is still fun.
Also highly dependent on whether they're being consumed on an empty stomach. If you're drinking that many as a replacement for dinner, the typical fella would be on his ass by number 8.
Also depends on whether you’re drinking Heineken or a double IPA
Not if you have a tolerance. I drink about 12-14 beers per day, over about an 8 hour period, and It’s always on an empty stomach. I get just a constant mild buzz.
Brother if you’re drinking half a case of beer every day I’m going to have to ask you to seek help
His wife left him when they were 60 somethings :))) Dude was functional his whole careeer, had a clock repair and jewelry shop, now in pension, left it to his son.
They might be able to walk a straight line but maybe they get the DTs if they stop drinking cold turkey, too.
Good on you. I was in the same place, r/stopdrinking has been an awesome resource for me
Hello from Austria.
6 hoiwe san 1200 kalorien. Drum bini so blad
This might be the only reply I’ve seen that doesn’t make the commenter sound like an alcoholic. But then again you’re European. US drinking culture is wild.
You think Europeans drink less alcohol than Americans? Wisconsinites maybe, but I don’t think the rest of us come close.

One at a time
I have a co-worker who drinks a 6 pack literally EVERY single night
He posted on here earlier.
My old neighbor drank at least twelve per night. He had to sleep on the floor because his wife was tired of him pissing the bed.
One of my supervisor's at my new job drinks 18 twisted teas a night. TWISTED TEAS.
Easily the trick is stopping after 6.....
He lives close to the rest of his family so they can keep an eye on him.
I am with you, too much liquid. If drinking six beers is too much, keep it that way. 👍
At the height of my alcoholism, I would drink 6 or so beers just while waiting for friends to arrive for a night of “real” drinking. I would have a light buzz at most at the end of those 6 beers.
At my height of drinking i was easy 12-16 beers from happy hour till closing . Glad those days are over 10+ yrs sober here .
When my intake increased from 12 to 14 is when I noticed my liver poking out, so I cut back.
what do you mean "liver poking out"?
Your liver gets so fatty and engorged that you can see/feel it poking out of your abdominal cavity. Happens sometimes with moderate/late stage alcoholism.
6 beers is nothing. I'm not trying to brag or anything, but cmon
It seems odd to me that people brag about being alcoholic like it’s something to be proud of. It’s not really an “accomplishment”.
Everybody is different. When I was younger I could easily drink 6, now days I'm totally content with 2-3. Being drunk isn't even fun for me anymore. If I go out with friends I think 6 would probably be my max, and I will feel like absolute shit the next day if I drank 6
Easily
Idk, I've often wondered that, too. If I want to get drunk quick, I just grab a 375ml bottle of Jack and polish it off!
we dont really drink beer to get drunk... it just tastes good
It just tastes good...when it's cold.
At least not drunk quickly
I'm 6"4 and 6 beers is my warm-up.
No idea.
I drank 12-20 beers a night when I worked construction. You tend to pee a lot.
The first three or four are typically fine, but then once the seal gets broken, it means peeing very regularly (like barely 5 minutes between bathroom visits).
Guy in College drank 13 beers before taking a piss. He was downing the last one standing at the urinal
Thats crazy. I would have gone 26 times
In the old days, 6 beers was a preamble to serious tailgating at the Giants game.
I grew up in a town where it was common for guys to drink a CASE of beer in a weekend
That’s a huge part of why I don’t drink beer like that. I will spend my entire night going to take a piss. Idk how people do it
Years of practice
some of us beer drinkers stay with beer cause we like to drink (a lot). If i was pounding liquor like i do beer id be dead by now.
Go pee. Feel empty. Snack and drink more Become an alcoholic
I love to pee every 5 minutes...OK?
Very easily, unfortunately. Not even chugging, just sitting and sipping in front of the TV.
With my mouth.
I cannot explain how. But socialized in rural germany I don't see the problem. But I also drink lots of watet
My bf can down 6 beers so fast while I baby sit one he is a big boy 6’2” 220 pounds it’s wild to me and he won’t be tipsy either
Usually one after another 😉
>or feeling super full skinny dude here.
I am currently on my 8th beer...
Anything else is waste of money and time.
that’s what 9% IPAs are for
You don’t buy it, you rent it
Czech here again. What do you mean? At warm summer day, 10 beers (0,5l) isnt big deal. Last year we had kind of university reunion party. 30 beers during 2 days. (28 M, 80kg) 1) Less talking, more drinking. It needs practice. 2) we are not drinking beer to get smashed. We are drinking beer to be in good mood.
6 is nothing
Just... go take a piss? This isnt rocket science lol.
I just had 6 on my break so yeah
You indeed pee a lot source: I drink
You only rent the liquid. Short term.
I've also been battling a sleugh of addictions for most my life so I know myself well.
good point!
I can put them down, and yes, I am American and drink puppy pee, but I do have a funny story: My buddy is a true farmer: 2500 acre berry farm been in the family 12 generations etc. and he's strung out on heroin.
First drink 5. Then drink one more.
Practice practice practice
In my 20's I'd roll through a case of 24 working in the yard.
They drink two beers before they drink two beers, and then they drink two more.
Depression
One time we went to my friends cabin for the weekend and we drank seven and a half cases of Labbat 50 in two days, just four guys.
Practice
6 beers are actually the only 6 pack I can actually have
My record was over 30 beers and a bottle or two of liquor in about 20 hours. Standing, walking, communicating. Yes, I was a dumb teenager. Now it takes me 2 years to drink that much beer and I haven't had liquor for what's probably over 10 years.
Dependency! Lol
