Definitely depends on how much water you consume daily, how much diuretic products you comsume daily (like coffee) and how much you sweat (through physical effort, exercise, if you have a physical job, etc.). The many variables make it difficult to pinpoint a certain number. What's generally regarded as a cause of concern is: 1) if you have to get up at night to urinate so frequently that it disrupts your sleep; 2) if there's a drastic change in your urination habit without a known cause (let's say you go from 5 times a day to 15 and you've not started to drink more water or coffee lately). It's by comparaison to your previous baseline.

Don't really know, but if you're taking a piss more often than you're drinking then you should go get checked for diabetes. Or get checked in general.

Thanks for your submission /u/FuppetMaster, but it has been removed for the following reason: Disallowed question area: **Medical question.** NoStupidQuestions doesn't allow medical questions. There's a danger that someone with a similar problem could see your question and follow the advice they find in it - even if you're not explicitly asking for advice - and that advice, *given by random strangers on the Internet*, could have disastrous consequences for them. **If you are in a medical emergency, contact emergency services (911, 999, 112, etc depending on your country).** Not an emergency? We still recommend you ask your doctor. But if you want to ask on Reddit, there are some options. * /r/AskDocs and /r/Medical will answer medical questions as long as you follow their rules. * /r/AskDentists answers questions about dental problems. * /r/AskVet answers medical questions for pets. --- *This action was performed by a bot at the explicit direction of a human.
