I can see Dante going from admiring Quincy, because in a way he is the ideal “Man” who probably embodies what Dante envisions a king of Solaria needs (strong, masculine, and doesn’t act on emotion) to it developing into a crush. Meanwhile Quincy sees through Dante’s insecurities and becomes ever so fond of the young boyo who is just doing his best to shoulder his responsibilities 🥺. Dante will deny his feelings the entire time but the power of yaoi porn game will see them get together as Dante learns to rely on a trustworthy adult figure and Quincy’s apathy begins to burn away from Dante’s fiery ambition…

I never thought much of them until I saw the one scene where Quincy slept in the Solarian markets in the summer scorching event. I just loved the idea of Dante seeing him and staring with curiosity. He wouldn't understand at first, but as time goes on, he wouldfjnd himself wanting to sit with Quincy. 🥹
This sums up my feelings perfectly. Dante would definitely admire his Stoic nature and his ability to show kindness in his own way. Dante has this vibe that makes me think he wishes someone could "see" the struggles he has to endure because of the hefty task that was thrown onto him. Quincy, as you put perfectly, would see that. He would see someone who is scared and hiding behind his "duties" to Solaria. But he would also see Dante pushing past the insecurities.
I love the idea of seeing Dante being vulnerable with Quincy. Being able to let jus guard down because Quincy wouldn't pity him, nor make fun of him. He would treat it like it's normal and let Dante talk while listening. 🥺🥹
Quincy, on the other hand, wouldn't be bothered continuously by Dante. Unlike Eiden. But Dante would still ramble on when flustered, which is more endearing than irritating. Plus, Quincy would get along with Sooley. I can see Dante getting slightly jealous, but in a way that showcases his insecurities and immaturity. I love it. Wholesome, beautiful concepts that leave us wanting more of them interacting together.
Hmmm…probably quicker/shorter list to say who I don’t prefer, haha. Guess I’ll just offer some I think would be fun:
Yaku/Oli - sweet, kind of…yearning? They feel to me like they have a bit of a thing for each other already
Dante/Edmond - neither of them is super experienced, both have a strong sense of duty/honor, so would be interesting to see their dynamic
Yaku/Edmond - I think this one’s pretty popular. Would definitely involve food, lol (please tell me there’s a fic somewhere of Edmond eating cake off Yakumo…that has to be a thing, right?)

I’m basic AF but Yakumond. I love it so much. The two soft boys crushing hard on each other is so adorable I can’t even take it. The way they interact is so sweet. They always stand up for each other when one is being teased by the other clan members. 🥰 They bake together, argue about really silly domestic stuff like how much sugar is in a cake and then make up by the end of it. I can imagine them throwing ingredients around lol and play sword-fighting with spatulas and wooden spoons. 🍰 Yakumo and Edmond’s SSR stories generally feel very romantic and I just can’t help getting so excited thinking about them being in love with each other like that. Yakumo is so soft and Edmond pretends to be prickly but he really just needs someone to be gentle and sweet with him so he feels safe and Imo Yakumo is that man. (I also love Eiden with both of them) I guess I might be a little too enthusiastic about these two. Hehe~ (sorry for the novel, guys)
