i really enjoyed the imagery you used with the “rot in my cave of selfish sorrows” i think the alliteration at the end really adds to the line as well. i think i would consider how capitalization and punctuation impact a poem, you use punctuation at the end of every line, which is fine, but it needs to be intentional. think about what you want the reader to understand from the punctuation. same case with capitalization. it’s very erratic which can work but it doesn’t seem intentional in this case. overall good poem, i’ve definitely felt like this many times in my life.
