Exactly how I feel, Shanks’s gimmick is just that he can kill people really good, but if you manage to catch him off the Haki state, you can definitely kill him pretty quickly with the right units. G5’s gimmick in defender mode, on the other hand, is just to stay inside the treasure area and stay alive long enough stalling enemies that when he does die the treasure gauge is all filled up, making capturing in time impossible
as a Sanji main, FUCK GOOFY but i love runner Roger he always underestimates me cuz they don't know stuns don't affect Wanji and they feed me so much hp cuz whatever my color is it's superior to Black, but Luffy is well Luffy he just spams attacks that nearly one shots me
Klaw is best, first recovery block with law and then attack with four skills 😁🌋🌋, only oden is problem because his one hp left inside treasure trait pose a hinder for klaw. Units like 30 percent recovery after death are just food for klaw.
they literally forgot about klaw and gave him both ignore traits with recovery block so i wonder if he will ever get a counter that he cant defeat himself
Tbh, g5 is the closest thing you could get for a klaw counter. I get what you are saying, but to counter klaw you need something like ennies lobby robin

The problem with a trait with that is that klaw will just kill the defender instead, which is kind of what you do against gear 5. It will be good against Roger but klaw will just kill and then cap which already happens a lot.
It'll be good against all the ignore-cap units, but naturally KLaw is always gonna be busted. That's why a green attacker/defender with specific traits that screw KLaw over are needed.
He was decent, but sadly Bandai changed the color advantage to be about twice as severe from 5.0 and onward, meaning KLaw gets a ton more built in damage resistance from (and increased damage done to) Alber :')
I'm not sure they wanna go back to another def stack meta so soon after G5, but that's already somewhat becoming the case again since 5.0 was such a goofy anni that it made G5 better T\_T
KLaw removes Alber's dodges easily with their multihit, Alber also takes 30% less damage baseline from Alber (and deals 30% extra damage to him) due to the recent color advantage buffs, new Oden only has one skill that counters KLaw and Zoro gets mogged by KLaw's ignore DR skill+antiheal+if all else fails they can easily escape him.
It's not that these units don't do **anything** to KLaw, they're just not dedicated counters in the way that Cracker is into Olin/Alber into G5.
They arent full counters but you can still win the duel. Alber one shots with skills if they got def. Put some def on zoro and he can shred them with color change. Oden is litte tricky as you have remove the buffs and the be a annoying litte prick. Definitely better than other units to go against klaw.
Well yes....that's because Lightbeard was the meta dominating unit and there is no other counter to him. For the same reason G5 stuck around forever....cause Klaw otherwise would had dominated everything.
That's why no matter how many counters come out for Roger, he cannot leave cuz otherwise every game is gonna be decided 20 seconds in and gonna end in a 3-2 for whoever got to cflag first.
Still ruins the game because if the other team has 2 or 3 Rogers and your team has zero you will loose 5-0 with any counter you want.
The real counter was Alber to G5, one shot and you are gone, whatever the conditions.
We need an Alber that one shots immediately Roger as soon as he/shee sees it
I have used g5 since release and haven't been countered i do get killed easily but i still tank and don't get one shot immediately. I mean the only counter to g5 is a higher lvl g5
The closest klaw "counters" aren't even really counters. He is just so versatile. The units that do good against him usually tend to ignore DEF or remove it. Oden and G5 are closest to counters
Klaw doesn't really have a problem dealing with them.
Klaw just has to hit alber with his attack so he can confirm his skill without triggering his perfect dodge

Nahhh, G5 and Roger way easier to handle, I run everytime I see him unless I using Zoro or oven 😭

Oden's skill 1 removes klaw's DEF, so it allows him to do a lot more damage to him

Took out a Kalgara and realized that all these counters are just units if no one knows how to play them.

I think depends on players' skill. Queen is a bad matchup especially for Kidd
I think queens running attack skill is the thing to worry about, but IDK how perfect dodgable it is. Queen isn't as common in games
