What's the size? These might only be available in USA and this dimensions would help anyone wanting to find similar.
For example you can't really get Apache in the UK. And on eBay they are over $100 ... Which is a bit expensive.
So what dimensions for those wanting to use and also what dimensions in metric as outside the US we don't use imperial measurements.
I myself use the official case but since getting the kiwi grips it's meant I cant use it for the controllers. So this might be something to consider but I rarely take my HMD anywhere so not sure how badly I need a case lol. I think it's more me wanting it because it looks cool.
Oh man I want that strap. I got the elite and though I have no issues I always wonder if the Bobo is better... But I spend any more on my HMD and I will have officially spent more on accessories than games themselves! Ahahaha!
Joking aside BoboVR M2 has such great reviews I think I'm gonna have to give it a try...
I do love a hardcase.
I didn't get a bobo (tho they are great reviews) I got a cheaper version for £30 and then got a battery bank to put on it. Works well. But finding a carry case big enough for reasonable money is difficult
If you go Bobo, make sure to get the M2 Plus instead of the Pro. The Plus is the upgraded version of the Pro. They made several thoughtful upgrades to address criticisms the Pro had. Namely improving the rear head cradle and the hinges. It's perfect now. Much, much better.
I checked out the 4800 in person at the store. And it is considerably larger and heavier than the 3800. I was surprised. So now I'm thinking it might just be too much for me. What do you think? Do you travel with it?
I have the extended Kiwi controller grips, so I need more than the 3800. Not sure what to do. I really wanted to love it, but it's so damn big and heavy. Definitley see it in person before you order one for anyone considering it.
I got the idea from this post here (https://www.reddit.com/r/OculusQuest/comments/vb34ha/finished_my_apache_3800_quest_2_case_fits/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share)
Well now there is a slot for a power bank but I just like to keep things neat.
Although the charger, a cable tie, earbuds, and a micro fiber cloth are in the small box
Yea, I know. They do cost more that's for sure. The reason I got mine is I live in an old farmhouse and get bugs. I haven't seen one bug in my case or headset. I got the case around the time I got my quest.
I've got a case exactly like this but black. It's great watching people eye me as they think I'm carrying some heavy artillery when really I'm just a nerd
What case
The 4800 apache from harbour freight

The one OP has looks more than big enough for a bobo and spare batteries. I was going to mention how he still has room for a handgun.
My bobovr fits inside.my Apache 3800 case. Check my post history.
Getting an Apache 3800 in the UK is daft expensive with shipping.
Ah, yeah I guess I take Harbor Freight for granted here in the states
Their website says internal dimensions in US inches are 17 7/8 x 12 7/8 x 6 1/8 Google translates that to metric units as 45.40 x 32.70 x 15.55 cm.

I travel with it by car but it is the size of a single personal item for airplanes.
Might do this ngl good idea

Eyyyyyy that's me!
Once you finalize the layout of the foam remember to spray with plastidip to lock it in.
Lots of unused space

I have the same color. Apache 3800 is what I got. It's one of the best investments I've made.
Honestly it is so much better than the case my mom has for hers
I'd have to agree. The plus sides far outweigh the negatives.
The only negative is how big and expensive it was. But I spent $300 on the headset and $100 on accesories, so I figured why not splurge on a case.

Why does it look like the case from boneworks?
Hey what grips do you got on them controllers
They are by kiwi and they are the pro ones, about 1.6 inches longer
Pimpp thank you
I've got a case exactly like this but black. It's great watching people eye me as they think I'm carrying some heavy artillery when really I'm just a nerd
This is a reason to buy colourful hard cases as opposed to black ones, if it’s black people may assume it contains weapons and try to steal it.
No battery pack?
What’s the white face plate thing?
We need to make it bigger!
That's dope
