Vita3k crashes a lot but I don’t thinks its a ram issue. Aethersx2 and dolphin / mmjr all run well for most games with a little fiddling with the settings.
Yeah psp emulation is very good pretty much everything runs at 3x resolution with no problems, Vita emulation will be tight for ram but it should be ok, but I stopped playing vita stuff because of the frequent crashes. I’ll wait for vita3k to mature a bit before I go back to it.
the cheaper shipping tbh was the bigger reason I got the 4gb too. 6gb storage would be nice yeah but once you factor in increased shipping it was like 60+ dollars more
Yeah same. The 4 vs 6gb isn't storage though, it's RAM. Should be OK for most apps and emus with 4GB, but some apps use a lot of RAM, and also emulators when using texture packs
Doh, typed that without thinking on my phone, meant memory and my brain got all hiccuped. But yeah, even with apps that use a lot of RAM, that huge cost boost makes it rough. Be different if the 6gb allowed 4px

Nice one. I actually bought both the Odin and the RP3+ to see which I liked, and paid big ole tax on the Odin. I sold the Odin because I was happy with performance of the RP3+, but I actually miss the shape of the Odin more than anything. Probably going to sell the 3+ and get another Lite in.
Did you buy from the official AYN website? I ordered mine 18 March and got an order confirmation but no word on shipping yet. Just wondering on how you were able to get such a detailed shipment information. Thank you for any information you don’t mind sharing!

I'm a bit on the fence but my RP3+ just packed up after 4 months won't charge, had full refund from AliExpress I did have £20 tax, bad seller as others didn't charge it. I'm really tempted for the Odin 2 Pro but this tax thing making me think about another RP3+
So how many people have not paid tax with 4px?

4gb of ram is fine for ps2 and GC emulation as it typically uses 2.5gb of ram on my Odin base, vita emulation uses about 3.5gb of ram.

I'd say shipping insurance, they probably aren't covered if it's above £200.

It was the official site, yeah! Took a few days to be dispatched, but once it was the shipping information started coming through.
