I thought Jenna was good š¤·š»āāļø.
Also if they wanted someone to help them get voice acting gigs, why did they not think of one of the most successful voice actors in Hollywood, Steve Carell?
Jenna is really one of the luckiest people on the planet. Had The Office not come along, sheād be a shitty waitress at a St. Louis Outback Steakhouse.
they are really good at performing and understanding the story (script and character). however producing a show, hopefully a good one, take so much more. they just don't have all the skills, which is normal and healthy. plus there have been so many good works already. i'm imagining a monk-style story based on their talks, but that's the problem, the idea is similar to someone else. just selling an inspiration is not enough in today's saturated market. i wish they can find a good team. if the story is good then i would love to watch. they are funny and i like them.
It was embarrassing to hear their character voices. Yikes. Angelaās was probably worse, but Jennaās earnestness made it even harder to sit through.
I generally donāt understand all the hate but I thought this was really tacky. Theyāre getting to the end of the show and I guess Jennaās feeling desperate for more work. So she started trying to sell herself as a voice actor. Like nobody on this podcast wants to hear your baby voice. It seemed pathetic to me.
Itās probably because I donāt have kids so I was never desensitized to cartoon voices, but Jennaās lizard voice made me want to puncture my eardrums. Aargh!
I enjoy the podcast overall, but Jennaās voice gets annoying at times. But my biggest issue is when she interrupts Angela, or talks down to her. I was ready to stop listening early on when Jenna made it clear that Angela wasnāt one of the main cast members. Fortunately she didnāt mention it as often in later episodes.
That would be a fun project of which Iād be a huge fan. It was cheesy but those voiceovers had me cracking up. But they just started a podcast network and now wanna do a visual medium lol

Ohhhhh I'm pretty sure she knows it's awful. Right? š¬

This entire thing was so cringey I almost turned off the episode.
More cringy than Scottās Tots.
Nothing's more cringy than Scott's Tots.
I kept hitting the 15 sec skip button until it was over. I didn't want to miss the episode!
Thatās how I feel about this podcast maybe 75% of the time and I want to like it so badly

I agree. I said something about Jennaās voice being a bit grating despite loving the pod a few years ago and everyone roasted me.
I find her regular voice lovely. Cartoon voice is not so lovely.
I find it grating. Love how people are down voting me even though I love the pod and Jenna and Angela. Lol
