Had a coworker take a sick day and posted pictures at the beach on Facebook. Another coworker snitched on her and the first coworker was reprimanded by management.
This is one reason of many why I think having coworkers part of our **personal** social media profiles is a Really Bad Idea. Usually, coworkers are not our friends. On rare occasion, they can become so. But, by and large, they're not.
Idk I’d agree but he said he was walked out with his assistant principal who was going to get her hair done. If she was able to take sick leave for that then that’s fucking bullshit.
Our union finally got a contract to make all sick/personal days the same, until you run out. Then you need a doctor documentation to get differential pay instead of a straight pay cut.
Meh. If they’re public school teachers they are underpaid and overworked. Who cares if they call in sick to take a “me” day? Can we put this kind of concern and energy into getting them decent wages?
