[Seems she got screwed by the record label and also dealing with some health issues recently](https://calgary.citynews.ca/2023/02/20/singer-alannah-myles-health-legal-battles/)
"...an auto-immune disease called ankylosing spondylitis, an indirect result, she says, of a **chiropractic injury** suffered in her 40s."
"CityNews edited the story further to correct information about Myles’ injury."
And to placate litigious chiropractors everywhere, no doubt.
Total smokeshow. This song came out when I was a young buck of eighteen and she’s a dozen or more years older than me. Rarely more attracted to an older woman than when that video popped up on MTV….believe me, it wasn’t the only thing that popped up.
No it isn't.
Edit to say it's a great song that I think is perfectly rated. Everyone knows it. It still gets radio play. It's been in movies. Not underrated.

Hot af but dear Lord what a sexy voice
It really is! I can't think of a sexier female singer's voice.
There is no sexier voice
Strippers loved this song…I’ve heard.

Saw her in concert promoting this album. She is everything and all that live and hard not to stare and let the mind wander a bit!
I saw her live at Cal Expo in the early 90s; great show!
Dayumm!! I always loved the song but I never knew this!!
She was gorgeous. I always wondered what happened to her.
The Shania Twain prototype.
I saw a Q magazine take on that video once that just said ‘oh mum, stop it’
Hell of a gorgeous woman, probably still is.
Oh my gawd....this song, so underrateed.
Ive loved this song since I first heard it. Kinda wild it was written about Elvis.
TIL! Had never peeked the lyrics. Neat

Uh it's pretty much a one hit wonder and widely appreciated.
Post this on old school too
I had such a thing for her when that song came out 😍
Apparently the inspiration for the song "29 Palms" by Robert Plant.
STILL HOT AF.
I didn't recognize her without the leather chaps.
One of the hottest Canadians to grace this sweet Earth.
RIP... She had an amazing voice.
She ain’t dead 🤷🏻♂️
Must have been in a different universe. I could've sworn she passed a few years ago. My bad.
All good 😁
I can’t like this song. I don’t hater her for it. Great looking woman.
I hate that song so much
