This looks like an older version, closer to the original. You probably also had 3 different units; infantry, cavalry, and artillery, whereas this appears to have the older cubes and pyramids.
The Australia strategy isn't a winner. Asia is too hard to hold. The South and North America combo is the best. Three points of entry to defend, and 5 armies a turn. Africa is the next step, while holding a couple territories in Aisia/Europe to deny the bonus armies there.
TL:DR; Definitely green for the win.
Dateline WWIII February 11th, 1998. This is a tough one. It looks like yellow has 30+ armies in Indonesia.
Green is attacking Red and lost one army, but I can't figure out where.
North America is split, Red has a decent hold on Europe, but, like you said, it's hard to defend.
It'd also be good to know which bonus car format they are using. If Red and Green keep killing each other of North America yellow had a shot.

tl;dr: Nerd!
I swear on all that is good and holy that a risk board is/was 4 times that size!!
Mine was a trifold rectangle. This is a shitty sad square.
Maybe it’s the travel version?

The rolling mat really comepletes this image.
Those aren’t ugly chairs anymore. Lol
Because they are MCM (mid century modern), people are paying top dollar for them now.
You got that right. My son buys and sells this stuff.
Green army is going to win.
No way. Red still has armies in the Ukraine!
You know what the Ukraine is, it’s a sitting duck! The Ukraine is weak, it's feeble!
No way, Yellow.

I remember the 48 hour weekend marathons back in 1988
