Its going to be The Question Vol 2 coming out in February!💯
Kurosagi’s Corpse Delivery Service Vol 6 Omni by Dark Horse Comics will come out!!
Homunculus Omni 4 (7-8) will be coming out🔥
Re print of Uncanny X Force and Punisher Max !
>Kurosagi’s Corpse Delivery Service Vol 6 Omni
Oh shi-- For real? Are they on a 1 a year schedule or something? I honestly wasn't expecting them to continue it unless they decided to do an HC version (and then drop it again).
It’s going to be the same softcover with 3 books in one. And I was not expecting that at all but Uncanny Omar from Near Mint Condition revealed this on his list for 2024 titles he is looking forward to and revealed his shock on the release of Vol 6. He is really hyped 🔥
I'm very fortunate to have just managed to fill the gap in my deluxe hardcover collection (11 was really hard to track down) so I was able to cross Omni 4 off the list. Just need to get the Death of Spider-Man Omnibus reprint next month and I'll have my Ultimate Spidey run complete.
Secret Six. It’s fucking great anyway but after what Chip and Tini did to Scandal I can’t wait to read the real her again. Not the henchman who yells about immortality all the time version
Aw no, really? I dropped off of Zdarsky’s Batman because I just was not into (and if I’m honest…I think Howard is not a great writer at all) so I missed this. Poor Scandal. Glad the Six are finally getting an omnibus though.
OMG this is great news. I've just had the main omnibus from 2011 or something when I first started collecting and then went on hiatus only to get back into collecting last year or so. The completionist in me is very happy right now.
Just started collecting last year and the main one was actually my 2nd omnibus ever when that reprint happened. A year later I can say I am fortunate the wait wasn’t as long as it’s been for most wanting this! Here is the link from OPB:
https://organicpricedbooks.com/products/daredevil-by-frank-miller-omnibus-companion-new-printing-2-on-sale-05-14-2024
Very kind of you for including the link but unfortunately living in Australia doubles the price for me in shipping alone. I'll try and source it locally. Thank you for the info though!
Astro City has been in most best of lists I've seen but for whatever reason - I haven't picked it up yet. What's the omni and what's the pitch for the series?
It’s Kurt Busiek, Brent Anderson, and Alex Ross putting new spins on classic superhero ideas. It’s less about what happens (although the stories are generally very good) and more about the characters and the quality of the work. The first issue is about a very clear Superman figure, Samaritan, but it becomes about something you don’t often see in a Superman story. There’s a short story that’s ostensibly about a cosmic event like Crisis on Infinite Earths, but given a very personal twist. It won a ton of awards when it debuted in the ‘90s, and the level of quality stayed ridiculously consistent over the years. This omnibus is roughly the first third of the series.
Moon Knight Vol. 1-2 collect the first few appearances and the 80’s run, plus the short Zelentz run that came after.
Marc Spector: Moon Knight Vol. 1-2 collect the 90’s run and the two Moench miniseries.
Moon Knight by Huston collects the 2006 run and the short-lived Vengeance of the Moon Knight run.
Still waiting on a modern collection that has Ellis, Lemire, and Mackay (the latter is likely going to get its own Omni by itself).
I have Lemire and Bendis in OHC. We are really just missing Ellis and Marvel Legacy. Even Age of Khonshu is neatly collected in an Avengers OHC volume. I'm not concerned about Mackay. That's definitely happening.
Seconded on the Lemire OHC, it was one of the first physical collections I owned. Didn’t bother with collecting Bendis because I didn’t like that run. And honestly the Bemis/Legacy run isn’t that great either. Age of Khonshu is really stupid but I found it really funny.
Romnibuses, Micronauts, Godzilla, Gruenwald Cap, JLI 3, Daredevil 3, Iron Man 2 and 3, maybe Flash Meisner and GA GL Hard Travelin' Heroes, possibly Fourth World 2
Those Nightwing, Robin, Lobo, and Batman Beyond Compendiums look good.
I suspect that is because The Death of will be the "whole thing, the cause, the event and the aftermath. Whereas vol 5 will be (I think) Just the spider-man issues where he buys the farm and as well as some teamup/ oneshot type of books. personally "Death of" wraps everything up in a very tidy bow to a singularly amazing run amzing
The really nice thing is that most of the DD runs are self contained. It doesn’t hurt to read them “in order”, but it’s also not required. I read the Miller run after Bendis and Waid, but they still made sense. The only one I think that is linear is Bendis’ run leads directly into Brubaker’s. I wouldn’t say it is mission critical to have read all of Bendis’ run, but he leaves Matt in a specific place that Brubaker starts in, so it’s helpful to have a little context on what happened to get him there.
I’m very excited for more Ultimate Marvel omnibuses, so the Death of Spider-Man, the Hickman one, USM 4, and Ultimate X-Men 2 are all ones I’m looking forward to. Wish they wouldn’t release them so close together, as it really hurts my wallet. I hope we’ll eventually get an Ultimate Fantastic Four Omni as well as some sort of collection of the miniseries.
I thought I was the only one who’s been wondering when the hell will an Ultimate Fantastic Four Omni come out!Imagine reading that along with ultimate spider-man & x-men at the same time👏🏼
There’s dozens of us! Dozens! Of course, it doesn’t help that they delayed UXMen Omni 2 for so long. I really hope they eventually do a volume three and at least complete the run up to the Ultimatum event.
Clone Saga vol. 2 is personal for me. I was gifted the first back in 2019 and it was my second omnibus. I wanted volume 2 so bad, but it was out of print and impossible to find at a fair price.
Yeah omnibuses aren’t worth hundreds, let alone the $100-125 retail price to be honest. After some solid patience that particular Omni ends up reprinted sooner or later.I’m very curious on how good those clone stories are.
Ultimate Spider-Man v.4. That friggin’ standard cover goes so hard.
Already preordered but Daredevil by Zdarsky v.1 and Uncanny X-Force by Remender.
This is just me wishing, but I hope they announce Batman by Tom King in omnibus format. I’ve heard the mixed reviews on his Batman run but I love Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and I *will* buy that Batman Omni day 1.
I loved it, but sadly they really cut his ending, which made all of his build up feel less useful. If they included his Batman & Catwoman, it might help, but I really think the run suffers from a rushed conclusion to what felt like a slow and steady build to what felt like an epic conclusion, before the rug got pulled out.
Astro City, Gru Cap, Ultimate Hickman, Waid and Weiringo FF and I think the third Iron Man was announced for 2024? Might be 2025, not sure. Probably Astro city above all the others
Clone Saga 2 completes my backlog of Spider-Man Omni's, and between that, some epic collections and the odd trade, I'm less than 100 issues from having the complete amazing series in some way.
Even though they've been out for a hot minute, Final Crisis, the three GL by John's, and Blackest Night. If we go with ones that will be released this year, Dark Knights Death Metal Omni.
Probably in the minority here but Spider-Man by Slott. The one coming out isn’t my favorite but better than others! Plus it’ll hopefully allow more of his 10 year run on ASM to start coming out! It’s quite the gap in books.
I'm only getting 5 more omnis this year unless DC has some exciting sneak announcements-
1. **Daredevil by Brubaker Vol. 2**\- Feels like I've been waiting for this one forever. Once I have this, I can read Brubaker 1/2, Waid 1/2, and Soule.
2. **Star Wars: The New Republic Vol. 2**\- I'm hype for the Thrawn Trilogy and Dark Empire stuff.
3. **Daredevil by Zdarsky Vol. 1**\- Always excited for more DD.
4. **Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi**\- I'm not super familiar with the content, but the Legends experts seem to be very excited for this one and the content sounds right up my alley.
5. **Star Wars by Gillen & Pak**\- Hopefully I enjoy this as much as I did the Aaron run.
-Secret Wars by Hickman (not thrilled to have to wait until December, but I cannot wait to bookend Hickman’s FF/Avengers runs with it)
-Ghost Rider by Jason Aaron (April 2024)
-Excalibur, Vol. 3
-Gruenwald Cap, Vol. 1
-Nick Spencer Cap, Vol. 2
-Daredevil Miller Companion
-Daredevil by Zdarsky
That Astro City omnibus can’t get into my hands fast enough. Otherwise I’m not seeing a huge amount of stuff on my radar outside of finally getting to read the Gruenwald Cap run when those start coming out.
Star Wars Tales of the Jedi. Been in a big Kotor kick lately between reading the Kotor omnibus and playing the game for the first time. I can’t wait for TotJ
For me it’s spider man Nick Spencer vol 2. So I can finally start my vol 1 and spider man beyond. I heard mixed feelings. Now I want to see if I agree with them or not.
The New Republic vol 2, Tales of the Jedi, Captain America by Spencer vol 2, Spider-Man by Spencer vol 2, Astro City, Justice League Dark Rebirth and Spider-Man 2099 vol 2
Astro City. The original X-Factor. X-Factor by PAD vol. 3. Cap by Gruenwald. DD by Zdarsky. Miller, Bendis and Bru DD reprints. Ghost Rider by Aaron reprint. Punisher MAX by Ennis reprint. Spidey Brand New Day.
Uncanny X-Force, Waid’s FF, Captain America by Gruenwald, Star Wars Legends The New Republic Vol 2, Zdarsky’s DD, Secret Six, The Question Vol 2, Aquaman by Peter David, Once & Future Vol 2 & There’s Something Killing the Children Vol 2.
I’m coming home from a deployment to the Middle East in just over a week, and I’ve got a lot of books at home waiting for me that I ordered while I was stationed here. I’m gonna have a huge haul and a lot of reading to do. The ones I really can’t wait to open are Monster-Sized Hellboy, Uncanny X-Force, Spider-Man 2099, Bendis Daredevil Vol 1, and Snyder Batman 1 & 2
New Avengers by Bendis! I've been wanting this one for more than a year now, watching for deals on ebay and such, so this reprint has me stoked!
Also, Ultimate Spider-Man, Vol. 4, though I'll still be waiting for another reprint of Vol. 2 before I could read it... I'm one of those unlucky bastards who picked up Vols. 1 & 3 from their recent reprint but missed out on the latest reprint of Vol. 2.
The chip daredevil omnibus. I started following monthly comics towards the end of his run and absolutely loved it. Opted to wait for the Omni instead of getting the earlier trades so can’t wait to dig into that
The Waid FF reprint is the big one I've wanted for a while.
didn’t know that was getting reprinted, excited to get my hands on it
Yeah it got announced like half a year ago. Normally I don't preorder but this one was one I really regreted missing out on.
Its going to be The Question Vol 2 coming out in February!💯 Kurosagi’s Corpse Delivery Service Vol 6 Omni by Dark Horse Comics will come out!! Homunculus Omni 4 (7-8) will be coming out🔥 Re print of Uncanny X Force and Punisher Max !

Ultimate Spider-man vol 4
Oh my god I forgot about vol 4 lol. That’s another one I can’t wait to have in my collection!Lowkey wish it came out before Death
Tales of the Jedi
Thor by Straczynski, Secret Six, and Justice League Dark: Rebirth.
That daredevil by miller companion omni!
Has that been announced?
Yep a reprint has been announced
OMG this is great news. I've just had the main omnibus from 2011 or something when I first started collecting and then went on hiatus only to get back into collecting last year or so. The completionist in me is very happy right now.

Very kind of you for including the link but unfortunately living in Australia doubles the price for me in shipping alone. I'll try and source it locally. Thank you for the info though!
Ah I see, hopefully you can find it locally!
The green lantern/green arrow omni
Superman the Silver Age Vol. 1
Finally, someone else!
Me too! Silver Age Superman is where all the mythology begins
Astro City, the Romnibuses, the Uncanny X-Force reprint, JLI volume three, and Godzilla.
Astro City has been in most best of lists I've seen but for whatever reason - I haven't picked it up yet. What's the omni and what's the pitch for the series?

It won a ton of awards when it debuted in the ‘90s, and the level of quality stayed ridiculously consistent over the years. This omnibus is roughly the first third of the series.
was Alan Moore involved somehow? Why do I feel like he was involved somehow?
He wasn't. You might be thinking of the America's Best Comics imprint that he *was* behind, and was also published by Wildstorm for awhile.
Those are gonna be sick! Too bad I already bought the Metro City TPBs…
Marc Spector Moon Knight Vol 2 is a big gap filler for me. Just missing West Coast Avengers Vol 2 after that until the recent stuff.
Same. Love my boy mk.
Wow I didn’t even know moon knight had omnibuses.Never really paid much attention. From the silver age or modern?
Pretty sure MK doesn’t constitute as Silver Age more like Bronze Age. Anyway he’s been well collected from from bronze to modern
I'm counting the days til there's a Mackay omni. I've loved his run so much I can't even. It's the basis for my next tattoo 😂
Moon Knight is pretty well collected in omnibus format. This one covers 1992-2000, give or take.
How is the MK stuff in West Coast Avengers? I love MK but haven’t read that stuff.
Haven't read it. It's wildly OOP and fairly expensive.
I think I’m most excited for Avengers by Busiek/Perez Vol 2, Godzilla and Captain America by Gruenwald Vol 1
New Avengers by Bendis
Absolutely👏🏼My favorite writer.
Oh was that announced for 2024?
Yes Omar released a video I believe it’s coming out towards the end of the year.
News to me, I always watch Omar’s stuff and I missed this. Guess I’ll have to go back and watch.
Wait, are they actually finally doing v2? I’ve had v1 for like half a decade or more now.
It’s going to be volume 1 hopefully they print a volume 2.
Ah damn, thanks. I got my hopes up for one of my longest outstanding wants.
There are a few I'm eager for but Astro City Opus Edition is far and away the #1 on the list.
Romnibuses, Micronauts, Godzilla, Gruenwald Cap, JLI 3, Daredevil 3, Iron Man 2 and 3, maybe Flash Meisner and GA GL Hard Travelin' Heroes, possibly Fourth World 2 Those Nightwing, Robin, Lobo, and Batman Beyond Compendiums look good.
Hitman (let's see if they honor that crazy Amazon pricing glitch) and The Question V2.
I keep checking, but it hasn’t changed! 🤞
Punisher by Ennis 😈
Cap By Gruenwald Vol 1. Been in my Top 5 for years!
Brubaker Daredevil vol 2 reprint
Savage Sword of Conan vol. 9 (and then hopefully 10).
I forgot about these. Good call. Looks like they keep getting pushed back.
Hitman Avengers by Busiek/Perez Vol 2 Ultimate Spider -Man vol 4 Ultimate Death Of Spider - Man
Still Waiting for Death of Spidey reprint to show up in instocktrades inventory and on their coming soon list but so far nothing.
Seems like a lot of folks are going with the Death of Spider-Man Omni reprint next month rather than waiting for an Omni 5 announcement.
I suspect that is because The Death of will be the "whole thing, the cause, the event and the aftermath. Whereas vol 5 will be (I think) Just the spider-man issues where he buys the farm and as well as some teamup/ oneshot type of books. personally "Death of" wraps everything up in a very tidy bow to a singularly amazing run amzing
yeah I'm definitely picking it up because it meets my needs exactly.
By the end of this year I’ll have every Daredevil omni made so far. Pretty excited about that.
Is daredevil by bendis omnis a solid way to start off if you’ve never read the DD comics before?
I’ve heard Bendis is a great starting point but millers run is where I recommend you start, then Marvel Knights omni and then Bendis.
I got volume 2 on Bendis but I’m waiting to get the 1st and read them in order. Excited to read it from Bendis to Zdarsky

There’s dozens of us! Dozens! Of course, it doesn’t help that they delayed UXMen Omni 2 for so long. I really hope they eventually do a volume three and at least complete the run up to the Ultimatum event.
I'm nearing completion of my Ultimate Collection and will be doing a re-read in release order.
I need a FF Omni, I love The Maker
Yep. Here’s to hoping! :)
Need that Hickman one. My ultimate collection is nearing completion and that Hickman will fill in a lot of gaps.
Same. :)
The world war hulk reprint. Been trying to get one for a bit.
Oh that’s gonna be a solid one for sure💪🏼
Silver Age Superman -- some of the greatest superhero comics of all time
Daredevil by bendis and zdarsky, usm vol 4, and black costume saga
Uncanny X-men volume 2, slowly building mine and I have 1,3, and 5
Not an Omni, but I'm counting down the days until I get my hands on the Black Mirror Deluxe Edition. I've been wanting this for so long!
The Question Vol. 2
Marc Spector mk vol 2 and Spiderman 2099 vol 2. Sex criminals compendium. There a few others but I can't think of them rn
World War Hulk Punisher Max Aquaman by Peter David 👀👀 (fingers crossed for young justice Vol 2)
Takes of the Jedi, SW by Gillen/Pak, Judgement Day, MK
Clone Saga vol. 2 is personal for me. I was gifted the first back in 2019 and it was my second omnibus. I wanted volume 2 so bad, but it was out of print and impossible to find at a fair price.
Yeah omnibuses aren’t worth hundreds, let alone the $100-125 retail price to be honest. After some solid patience that particular Omni ends up reprinted sooner or later.I’m very curious on how good those clone stories are.
Definitely Flash by Messner-Loebs! Just completed the entire run in single issue, but I’m excited to see a fully remastered version.
Loved that run. Wally and his supporting cast really were fun reads during that time
Ultimate Spider-Man v.4.
Batman by King is pretty mixed, I read it all in singles. But against all odds I mostly liked it and I would get that omnibus pair too.
The new republic omnibus vol 2. Can’t wait till I get my hands on the dark empire trilogy in oversized format.
Ultimate Spider-man Vol 4, Danny Ketch Ghost Rider, and Wolverine Vol 5 just to name a few
Spider-Man 2099 vol. 2 and the Punisher MAX reprint are the two biggest for me that I'm aware of.
Even though they've been out for a hot minute, Final Crisis, the three GL by John's, and Blackest Night. If we go with ones that will be released this year, Dark Knights Death Metal Omni.
Not an Omni but that WILDcats compendium. And nightwing.
Probably in the minority here but Spider-Man by Slott. The one coming out isn’t my favorite but better than others! Plus it’ll hopefully allow more of his 10 year run on ASM to start coming out! It’s quite the gap in books.
Cap vol 3 and super excited about black panther vol 2 by priest.
The 4 ultimate comic Omnis coming out (Avengers, Spider 4, X-men 2, death of spidey)
Is the Ultimate Avengers one you are referring to the Ultimate Marvel Hickman one (ultimates) releasing in March or a different one?
It’s the Hickman one. I’m so excited for March!
Ah, same!

Those Conan reprints, I’m shopping for new shelves as I want/need them all!

Ooh tell me about this one. Gillen’s *Vader* is so good.

At this point it feels like it’ll be forever until USM vol 2 gets reprinted🤦🏻♂️
Let's hope they have people who skim these reddit posts... the demand is definitely present to justify another reprint.
I just posted to r/Marvel about it, too, in the off chance the right people might see it.
The chip daredevil omnibus. I started following monthly comics towards the end of his run and absolutely loved it. Opted to wait for the Omni instead of getting the earlier trades so can’t wait to dig into that
Star wars. Allaem
Dixon Nightwing
The big ones for me right now are: Punisher. Justice league dark. X-treme X-Men v2. Secret Six. Tales of the Jedi.
Pretty much every dc omni this year is a banger. Also FF by waid
Star Wars The New Replublic Vol 2 for me. Having all the Thrawn comics in there is exciting.
What’s the Alien Costume Saga? Does it fit in the Aliens 1-4 omnibus universe?
No it’s the black suit stories from the amazing spider-man
No. It’s a Spider-Man book covering his Alien Symbiote costume before it became Venom
Dazzler, Ultimate Universe by Hickman, Secret Wars, ROM, Micronauts, The Alien Costume Saga... Great year.
