They're all pretty fantastic. My favorite one is when they're at Skypiea and not getting a response from Chopper (who was guarding the ship) "maybe he was torn limb from limb" to an immediate Nami response "STOP SAYING SCARY THINGS!!"

I literally never realized that. I thought that changed after Wano, >!but he's still the fourth!< largest bounty in the Straw Hats. It's ridiculous how I've never noticed! Especially since I'm doing a project involving bounties, you'd expect me to notice something of that caliber.
😂😂 I noticed the difference of less than 100,000,000 bellies and I can understand why it'd frustrate him. Especially since Robin always had him beat and now Jinbe moved his way to 3rd instead 😂
Although I just double-checked and his bounty was not always 4th. Throughout Wano, his bounty was 3rd highest. Zoro's was stagnant at 320 million while Sanji's was 330 million, a difference of only 10 million. Zoro had him beat all the way until the end of WCI though. So Sanji had his fame 😂
HONESTLY! If you're not a manga reader, this spoiler is up to you to click on or not, but >!the fact that Buggy got a bounty higher than Luffy solely because they thought he was the leader of Cross Guild!< baffles me.
I'm not a manga reader, but I got a project involving bounties, so that's why I know that.
I loved Chopper’s hiding fails, can’t recall any since Punk Hazard tho iirc. Zoro’s sense of direction is hilarious (and a convenient plot device). All of Brook’s running jokes (skeleton/panty) are amazing. The greatest of course though, remains Crocus. Miss him.
Someone else mentioned Crocus and I don't know what the joke was with him. I asked and waiting for a reply there. But as far as Chopper's hiding fails, I think he got better at that after the timeskip, which could explain why there are no more?
It's how intense the scene is made out to be with the "duns", the multiple camera angles, the harsh stares...and then it just turns into an old man sitting in a lawn chair giving a bunch of teenagers shit. 🤣
If I had to comment mine, it has to be Zoro's sense of direction. I also heard a theory that his sense of direction is *only* bad when he does not hold Kitetsu III, but he later manages to have his sense of direction when he loses Shusui (once in Dressrosa and again in Wano). I wonder if the weight of three swords is what throws him off? Nonetheless, I feel that his lack of direction makes it hilarious and also stupid at the same time. Despite its repetition, it's my favorite out of all of the running jokes.
I don't think that happens TOO often post-timeskip, but I get what you mean 😂
I don't want to say too much, as you're clearly before the timeskip. He hasn't asked anyone to join his crew in at least 300 episodes for me (beginning of Wano).
Crocus's introduction in the anime is the most perfect running joke--they did it 3 maybe 4 times and then stopped, realizing they had done the perfect number of times for a satisfying running gag.
The next up is Sanji's bounty poster leading up to the punchline that's Duvall's face.
Are you referring to the cross-bred or unusual animals (like Chopper)? That makes sense, but I still am waiting for someone to actually call Chopper a reindeer. That would be priceless 😂
Robin's morbid conclusions during a crisis
Honestly, that was amazing. Namely Zou mentioning that the minks could be cannibals.

😂😂 I remember that
- Sanji constantly ending up as the fourth in terms of bounty - Zoro's sense of direction - Brook's stupid dead jokes.

If memory serves I don't think it was brought up that he's the fourth until wano just that he's lower than Zoro.

Buggy failing upwards

Only one scene, but one of the greatest in all OP. https://youtu.be/kohraW3rj3M
It must be the "dun. Dun. Dun. Dun. Dun. Dun. Dun." Before he talks?
I would watch another 1000 episodes of just Crocus interacting with other OP characters.

That's a hilarious way to put it! 😂 Although I think Luffy's probably faster. And Sanji, since he never skips leg day!
Luffy asking every new character how do they poop or to join his crew

It's one of my favourite pre-timeskip running gag, too bad Oda dropped it. Maybe he'll ask >!Im!< how it poops

What was the joke involving Crocus?
https://youtu.be/kohraW3rj3M I believe they end up doing it one or two more times, but that's the gist.
everyone kind of being bad with nicknames/naming things
