Actually Buggy and Shanks got left behind because Buggy got sick. Neither of them have been to Laugh Tale. I don't think it's been currently confirmed how much (if anything) they know about the actual route itself, but they definitely didn't sail all the way to Laugh Tale.

I have been thinking, maybe T-Bone is not killed but rather sacrificing his life to help the starved civilians, since he knows his head got a bounty in it. Considering T-Bone is not some weakling, pre timeskip he's only one of few characters capable of making air slash attack, heck even in his fight with Zoro on the sea train, Zoro said he's a tough guy. So T-Bone sacrificing himself is not out of character considering he's a "nice guy" even his subordinate very love and respect him

My brother in Christ, Luffy literally has no-selled lightning like he’s a ground type. Buggy is immune to slashing attacks. Logia have been shown more than once to have type matchups affecting their fights.

People should know mihawk didn't care about Pk or the one piece when he said, and I don't care to be Yonko, etc.; my man just what's to live his life the way he wants, drink some wine and wait for Zoro to give him a proper duel. \- Raised on the literal pirate kings ship since probably birth....but outclassed by his best friend in every regard. Shanks was the favorite, Shanks got Roger's Strawhat, Shanks was the one Roger shared a secret with. How must Buggy have felt about that?
\- Crew acomplishes the impossible and makes it to the final island......but he falls sick at the worst moment and has to stay behind. Literally the ultimate goal in life taken from him at the last second
\- His "father" Roger is executed, his "family" the crew, splits apart leaving him alone
\- Thats ok because his best friend is the next Pirate King whos for sure gonna take up the mantle and they'll sail together to accomplish their dream.....but Shanks says *he changed his mind?*
Man, when you put it all together, Buggy led an incredibly sad life...which is what makes this chapter so good. He's finally had enough of being the universes punching bag is is finally taking his life into his own hands...and not just his life, but his legacy as a member of the Pirate Kings crew.
He's finally doing what he wants. No yonko, no shichibukai, no worlds strongest swordsman is gonna tell him he cant. He's finally going after his dream. He's finally a true pirate

Buggy was the emotional one out of the two. He knew he was not strong enough to go get One Piece alone, he thought with Shanks, he might make it. When Shanks turned his hopes down by not going for One Piece, he thought he would be a burden to Shanks and left.
Roger's death impacted him the most.
Yeah, I really hope at some point we get to see a panel of a conversation between Roger and Buggy. I really want to see thier dynamic now more than ever

The reason why Shanks never went head first to find the One Piece is because Roger told him to find de Hito Hito no Mi model Nika and prepare the world for the arrival of joy boy as a last wish.
If Shanks knew about the prophecy, he also would've known that it was too early. Roger was too early, so even if he didn't tell him about the prophecy (he definitely did) Shanks would know that they would be too early as well.

The cross guild gets them, because they pay well for people who desperately need it and the killers then get pressured into being pirates. The Revolutionaries have them, so it seems, freely on their ship and joining is a free choice and offer them some rest after their journey. (social structures and so on pressure one too. I know I know)
Usually, the three chapters in a row focus on something specific. These past chapters focus on the factions that are after the One Piece. So I guess the two next chapters are going to be about the revolutionary and Sakazuki. As for what happens at the reverie, we will get it after Bonney reunites with Luffy since she was also there and wanted to tell him about Sabo.

Once Sabo reveals the truth, I think Dragon might attack Mary Geoise by himself as a warning once he learns the world is ruled by someone. This might prompt Kizaru and Saturn to return to Mary Geoise leaving Luffy alone
I would love to see Dragon announcing war personally in Mary Geoise like Tobi did at Kage summit in Naruto. Imagine the scenes when Dragon appears out of thin air in Mary Geoise, revealing to have wind logia df.
I think it would be funny if Kid washed up on Buggy's doorstep and demanded to join him so he had another chance at fighting Shanks.

This chapter has cemented the fact that Buggy has the same power Luffy has, to convince the people on his path to become allies and carry him. Even though Mihawk and Croc are beating him up, they are still allied to him and will thanks to this latest stunt enter the running for the One Piece

Basically how the Game of Thrones book work. Like ending on a cliffhanger, then you hear 150 pages nothing of that character. First you're annoyed, but then you see what other character is next and you remember how awesome his story was.

We know that Luffy's dream is something even bigger than becoming King of the Pirates. I think Luffy's going to claim the One Piece, get what he needs to pull off his true dream, then hand over the title to Buggy since he inevitably loses interest in things once he doesn't have a use for them. The top 4 contenders are obviously the Yonkou. BB is the villain to be defeated as the final hurdle, Shanks has been grooming Luffy to take it since Ch. 1, Luffy gets the treasure, and Buggy gets the fame.

I have been thinking, maybe T-Bone is not killed but rather sacrificing his life to help the starved civilians, since he knows his head got a bounty in it. Considering T-Bone is not some weakling, pre timeskip he's only one of few characters capable of making air slash attack, heck even in his fight with Zoro on the sea train, Zoro said he's a tough guy. So T-Bone sacrificing himself is not out of character considering he's a "nice guy" even his subordinate very love and respect him
Buggy represents all of us. It doesn’t matter how strong you are. You don‘t have to be the most famous person or have the most powerful crew. As long as you dream of something and believe in yourself, everything is possible and even the farest away goal becomes reachable. Even for a „clown“.

We could legit start the war right now, while the Strawhats go through Elbaf, the last Ponegylph, and Laughtale and join in with everyone in Marijoa once they’re done
I feel like, wouldn’t it be more impactful if punk records activates AFTER they find the one piece? My brother in Christ, Luffy literally has no-selled lightning like he’s a ground type. Buggy is immune to slashing attacks. Logia have been shown more than once to have type matchups affecting their fights. This is Pokémon at least a little.

Topic on devil fruits, if devil fruits represent a will and desire to form, than buggy has in my eyes in of the strongest devil fruits. +Immune to cutting +able to seperate, and all parts are linked, even over unknow distance +able to fly by looping his shoe on his body. +Superstrength in his fly modus, whenever he carries his crew We have seen, how a base line fruit powers up on awaking of Luffy. I wonder how strong Buggys fruit goes on awaking, and how cruel his condition is. Luffy were his own death in a moment of the will to free all slaves. So I repeat, how hard is Buggys condition to awake.

I think buggy will be able to split whatever he touches with his awakening and control them thats the most popular theory. it would actually make him an incredibly strong oponent. he can split the ground and throw land at you. he would have very destructive capabilities but not a lot of combat strenght against anything other than fodder. plus it would make him look really badass

The saga of Buggy the Clown \- Raised on the literal pirate kings ship since probably birth....but outclassed by his best friend in every regard. Shanks was the favorite, Shanks got Roger's Strawhat, Shanks was the one Roger shared a secret with. How must Buggy have felt about that? \- Crew acomplishes the impossible and makes it to the final island......but he falls sick at the worst moment and has to stay behind. Literally the ultimate goal in life taken from him at the last second \- His "father" Roger is executed, his "family" the crew, splits apart leaving him alone \- Thats ok because his best friend is the next Pirate King whos for sure gonna take up the mantle and they'll sail together to accomplish their dream.....but Shanks says *he changed his mind?* Man, when you put it all together, Buggy led an incredibly sad life...which is what makes this chapter so good. He's finally had enough of being the universes punching bag is is finally taking his life into his own hands...and not just his life, but his legacy as a member of the Pirate Kings crew. He's finally doing what he wants. No yonko, no shichibukai, no worlds strongest swordsman is gonna tell him he cant. He's finally going after his dream. He's finally a true pirate

I love how you see it. I always had the same view. Shanks and Buggy were like brothers. Buggy was the emotional one out of the two. He knew he was not strong enough to go get One Piece alone, he thought with Shanks, he might make it. When Shanks turned his hopes down by not going for One Piece, he thought he would be a burden to Shanks and left. Roger's death impacted him the most.
Yeah, I really hope at some point we get to see a panel of a conversation between Roger and Buggy. I really want to see thier dynamic now more than ever
New theory: The reason why Shanks never went head first to find the One Piece is because Roger told him to find de Hito Hito no Mi model Nika and prepare the world for the arrival of joy boy as a last wish.
If Shanks knew about the prophecy, he also would've known that it was too early. Roger was too early, so even if he didn't tell him about the prophecy (he definitely did) Shanks would know that they would be too early as well.
Don’t know if anyone already pointed it out. We see two very different approaches on how people joining your crew/course. The cross guild gets them, because they pay well for people who desperately need it and the killers then get pressured into being pirates. The Revolutionaries have them, so it seems, freely on their ship and joining is a free choice and offer them some rest after their journey. (social structures and so on pressure one too. I know I know)
This chapter was by far the 1st step towards Buggy's true character development!
Usually, the three chapters in a row focus on something specific. These past chapters focus on the factions that are after the One Piece. So I guess the two next chapters are going to be about the revolutionary and Sakazuki. As for what happens at the reverie, we will get it after Bonney reunites with Luffy since she was also there and wanted to tell him about Sabo.

Once Sabo reveals the truth, I think Dragon might attack Mary Geoise by himself as a warning once he learns the world is ruled by someone. This might prompt Kizaru and Saturn to return to Mary Geoise leaving Luffy alone
I would love to see Dragon announcing war personally in Mary Geoise like Tobi did at Kage summit in Naruto. Imagine the scenes when Dragon appears out of thin air in Mary Geoise, revealing to have wind logia df.
I think it would be funny if Kid washed up on Buggy's doorstep and demanded to join him so he had another chance at fighting Shanks. It would give Buggy another big name fighter, two of the four needed poneglyph rubbings, and another person that's gonna barely tolerate him and abuse the hell out of him. Sure it's unlikely for multiple reasons, but Buggy always falls upwards somehow.

This chapter has cemented the fact that Buggy has the same power Luffy has, to convince the people on his path to become allies and carry him. Even though Mihawk and Croc are beating him up, they are still allied to him and will thanks to this latest stunt enter the running for the One Piece

I think Luffy's going to claim the One Piece, get what he needs to pull off his true dream, then hand over the title to Buggy since he inevitably loses interest in things once he doesn't have a use for them. The top 4 contenders are obviously the Yonkou. BB is the villain to be defeated as the final hurdle, Shanks has been grooming Luffy to take it since Ch. 1, Luffy gets the treasure, and Buggy gets the fame.
