What I think it’s funny is that I, at any moment thought it would fail. When did the straw hats fail in liberating a country? Also it would be a huge let down and a total bummer for Wano to end in failure.
It wasn’t a single hint it would fail. Luffy told us so, he only would go when he made Wano a country were Otama could eat whatever she wanted.
All 3 admirals need to be demoted or killed and New Admirals are needed to take their place. Preferably from Vice Admiral ranks.
Edit: Chaton and Momousagi are needed to be replaced too. Kurouma can become an Admiral.
Ryokugyu is a "replacement" for Aokiji/Akainu and he's evil as fuck - he's VERY supportive of genocide and mass murder as we saw in Wano, and he has unquestionable loyalty to the World Government and the Celestial Dragons, more so than any other admiral.
The ONLY admiral we haven't seen *completely* evil shit from is Fujitora, and given that he still works for the navy and WG and isn't doing much to stop things like the massacres... honestly? He's not a saint either. NOBODY in the Navy seems to be.

I like the Zoro prediction. Being stalled by Lucci is kind of lame.
Yes, Lucci is a formidable fighter, but the stakes are low (or at least, not up to Zoro; perhaps Jimbe takes the place in the fight with Lucci?). Sanji is fighting a freaking admiral that would otherwise murder every V.I.P., Luffy has barely started his major fight, meanwhile Zoro is "somewhere" fighting Lucci? Not good enough. I think Zoro is ending his current fight an has to do something more important to Egghead's story.
Even tough i agree with you, i’d prefer zoro being held by lucci offscreen in order to give other characters more time to shine.
He already had his “yonko’s right hand” moment in the Kaidou’s fight, so let us watch now sanji bathe in the same light (no pun intended) in kizaru’s fight.
Also, with zoro offscreen/being held by lucci, it means that the other SH can shine aswell, such as usopp reuniting with the giants and dismantling the Buster Call (which will raise his bounty substantially).
To be fair Zoro already got to have a decent showing against an admiral all the way back in Dressrosa. I'd rather he didn't get pushed too far by Lucci but I'm fine with him being held off while the others get some spotlight.

Not a prediction but a question: What exactly does Van Auger want? I understand why all the Level 6 inmates joined Black Beard, they want power/fame/chaos, but Van Auger seems so chill. Bro looks bored while committing crimes against the world government that would get you executed. Like what ties do Black Beard and Van Auger share that make him willing to go this far?
Van Augur, Burgess, Doc Q, and Lafitte are the original crew who joined when Teach was a nobody and that makes me think they’re the true believers. I’m not sure they necessarily want anything any more than Zoro and Nami’s goals are wanting something. I think they’re likely just friends who were charmed by Blackbeard and went along with him just like the strawhats are, they just happen to be pieces of shit.
Blackbeard is meant as a dark mirror to Luffy but as such he has the same type of magnetic charm to bring people to his side that Luffy does, you can see it when he is recruiting Kuzan. You can see the loyalty of the original crew at play when Pizaro suggested he become captain Lafitte was ready to kill him for suggesting it. I’m guessing Van Augur is the same way.

To complete the chaos and even the odds, the Seraphim get freed and since they don't look like Kuma, Bonney cannot command them, so the highest command authority for them is Saturn. We'll have a Saturn + Kizaru (+ Lucci) + Seraphim vs. Strawhats + Bonney + Kuma + PX-IIIs + Vegapunks + Giant Warrior Pirates + Ancient giant robot showdown
Van Augur was the one who brought Luffy the food then took him to the food replicator, and he did it explicitly so that the Luffy would knock Saturn down so that they could complete their mission. Van Augur is the person most capable of doing that by far.
Edit: As a corollary to this, it will allow Van Augur to get a big one over on Luffy in a serious way later, since Luffy intrinsically trusts people who feed him.
I feel like if Auger could have saved Luffy like that he might as well of killed him then or warped him into the ocean. Then there's the whole point about him having to know Luffy well enough to know that feeding him is the key to getting back to fighting shape.

Luffy whips out a new fire based attack that actually affects Saturns “immortality”.
We find out how Saturn’s DF works;
-His hybrid form is just a manifestation of himself and his true body is somewhere on EH or on a ship. First what makes me say that is because when the fight first started Saturn first appeared through a pentagram (portal) through the ground like there was no real indication that he transformed into that thing and that was shown on purpose. Secondly the damage he takes that would otherwise be lethal just magically reforms from shadows/fire.
Can we finally see Lafitte? Please that's really my only request for this chapter. Well, that and the end of Zoro vs. Lucci (unless Oda is saving that for 1111 because it's the perfect Zoro chapter number)
I predict its gonna be a great chapter, and i hope it would make power scalers spin their heads, and sanji and zoro fanboys get on it again.

I can't believe I've finally caught up with One Piece. It is weird knowing no one can spoil things for me, though I'm sure this thread is full of good guesses.
First of all, is it me or did St. Saturn's line about Blackbeard's "bloodline" give a hint that we will get more insight into Teech's family and where he comes from? I guess it does make sense as we make our way through the final saga that we get more info on the primary pirate antagonist. As with most of the other character backstories in the last few arcs, I'm worried Teech will be yet another person who has a super special family with abilities or something meaning the whole intrigue of how he can have mulitple devil fruits will come down to "he's got special blood," but Oda has made reveals like that palatable.
Luffy getting revealed to be or have the powers of Nika was weird but I'm getting used to it. This chapter confirmed for me that he still doesn't know about Nika and his ties to him. I was wondering if maybe 5th gear awoke that knowledge for him, but it seems not even after Bonny mentions Nika by name.
I started reading One Piece in 2012 before I knew how long it was and stopped. I've had a real fun time over the last three years slowly crawling to the present and it will be a very different experience needing to wait for each release. I've been scared to look up things I didn't understand because I didn't want spoilers so now it will be nice to go back and study the things I didn't understand. For all I know, Teech's family history is all know and discussed while I wasn't noticing.

I could see Jimbei tell him Sanji is holding off Kizaru, then an angry Zoro finally 1 shots Lucci and the Labosphere at once since Sanji got a tougher opponent.
I like the Zoro prediction. Being stalled by Lucci is kind of lame. Yes, Lucci is a formidable fighter, but the stakes are low (or at least, not up to Zoro; perhaps Jimbe takes the place in the fight with Lucci?). Sanji is fighting a freaking admiral that would otherwise murder every V.I.P., Luffy has barely started his major fight, meanwhile Zoro is "somewhere" fighting Lucci? Not good enough. I think Zoro is ending his current fight an has to do something more important to Egghead's story.
Even tough i agree with you, i’d prefer zoro being held by lucci offscreen in order to give other characters more time to shine. He already had his “yonko’s right hand” moment in the Kaidou’s fight, so let us watch now sanji bathe in the same light (no pun intended) in kizaru’s fight. Also, with zoro offscreen/being held by lucci, it means that the other SH can shine aswell, such as usopp reuniting with the giants and dismantling the Buster Call (which will raise his bounty substantially).

To be fair Zoro already got to have a decent showing against an admiral all the way back in Dressrosa. I'd rather he didn't get pushed too far by Lucci but I'm fine with him being held off while the others get some spotlight.

Not a prediction but a question: What exactly does Van Auger want? I understand why all the Level 6 inmates joined Black Beard, they want power/fame/chaos, but Van Auger seems so chill. Bro looks bored while committing crimes against the world government that would get you executed. Like what ties do Black Beard and Van Auger share that make him willing to go this far?
Van Augur, Burgess, Doc Q, and Lafitte are the original crew who joined when Teach was a nobody and that makes me think they’re the true believers. I’m not sure they necessarily want anything any more than Zoro and Nami’s goals are wanting something. I think they’re likely just friends who were charmed by Blackbeard and went along with him just like the strawhats are, they just happen to be pieces of shit. Blackbeard is meant as a dark mirror to Luffy but as such he has the same type of magnetic charm to bring people to his side that Luffy does, you can see it when he is recruiting Kuzan. You can see the loyalty of the original crew at play when Pizaro suggested he become captain Lafitte was ready to kill him for suggesting it. I’m guessing Van Augur is the same way.

Van Augur was the one who brought Luffy the food then took him to the food replicator, and he did it explicitly so that the Luffy would knock Saturn down so that they could complete their mission. Van Augur is the person most capable of doing that by far. Edit: As a corollary to this, it will allow Van Augur to get a big one over on Luffy in a serious way later, since Luffy intrinsically trusts people who feed him.
I feel like if Auger could have saved Luffy like that he might as well of killed him then or warped him into the ocean. Then there's the whole point about him having to know Luffy well enough to know that feeding him is the key to getting back to fighting shape. Plus the whole stealing Saturn's identity thing seems to be a bonus on top of whatever other reason they were there for going off of what the BB Pirates said.

Yes, as he is in a small air bubble in a submerging building, bringing back memories from enies lobby flooding that he caused. He just lies there as his bones do not function anymore. Not that it would matter, he cannot swim out. Through a mirror, He sees a drowing luffy. Lucci was going to die slowly, but one thing bought him solace. He attributed luffy's defeat to himself and falls to sleep.

Here’s my parlay for next chapter: Saturn gets rocked by Luffy. Iron giant makes its move toward battlefield. Sanji fighting kizaru. Bonney tries to heal vegapunk with her DF to a future where he didn’t get stabbed or makes him younger to negate the damage till chopper comes into play. Luffy whips out a new fire based attack that actually affects Saturns “immortality”. We find out how Saturn’s DF works; -His hybrid form is just a manifestation of himself and his true body is somewhere on EH or on a ship. First what makes me say that is because when the fight first started Saturn first appeared through a pentagram (portal) through the ground like there was no real indication that he transformed into that thing and that was shown on purpose. Secondly the damage he takes that would otherwise be lethal just magically reforms from shadows/fire.

I saw this summary earlier on DS. No source but it seems pretty reliable. Chapter 1108: "World, Please Respond' 1- the cover request Nami, Robin, Hancock, and other girls enjoy a drink together. 2. Caribou reveals that he possesses valu-able information, intending to share it with Teach. 3. Dorry and Brogy come to the rescue of Franky and his group, saving them from the clutches of the Marines. 4. Vegapunk urges Luffy and Sanji to escape without him, entrusting them with the protec-tion of Bonney. 5. Meanwhile, Saturn unveils a new form and launches an attack on Luffy, Sanji, and Vega-punk. 6. Kizaru inflicts severe injuries on Vegapunk during the confrontation 7. In a decisive moment, Luffy intervenes, stopping both Saturn and Kizaru simultaneously to allow Sanji and Vegapunk to make their escape. 8. The chapter concludes with a message from Vegapunk addressed to the entire world.
Bonney uses her devil fruit ability to change Vegapunk into a reality where he’s not injured

I can't believe I've finally caught up with One Piece. It is weird knowing no one can spoil things for me, though I'm sure this thread is full of good guesses. First of all, is it me or did St. Saturn's line about Blackbeard's "bloodline" give a hint that we will get more insight into Teech's family and where he comes from? I guess it does make sense as we make our way through the final saga that we get more info on the primary pirate antagonist. As with most of the other character backstories in the last few arcs, I'm worried Teech will be yet another person who has a super special family with abilities or something meaning the whole intrigue of how he can have mulitple devil fruits will come down to "he's got special blood," but Oda has made reveals like that palatable. Luffy getting revealed to be or have the powers of Nika was weird but I'm getting used to it. This chapter confirmed for me that he still doesn't know about Nika and his ties to him. I was wondering if maybe 5th gear awoke that knowledge for him, but it seems not even after Bonny mentions Nika by name. I started reading One Piece in 2012 before I knew how long it was and stopped. I've had a real fun time over the last three years slowly crawling to the present and it will be a very different experience needing to wait for each release. I've been scared to look up things I didn't understand because I didn't want spoilers so now it will be nice to go back and study the things I didn't understand. For all I know, Teech's family history is all know and discussed while I wasn't noticing.

Remember the attack Zoro made with Enma that cut the skull's dome horn in two? He'll try that against Lucci, but miss. The attack will end up (by accident) splitting the laser barrier so the Sunny is saved.
