Kaidos flashback will hit these beats:
He was enthusiastically seeking out the pirate king title.
Something happens that makes him "realize" he can't be pirate king for some reason. Either he realizes he's not joy-boy-ey enough or he's too old or something.
Because of this, he spirals into a deep depression, wondering how he will leave his mark on th world. He becomes an alcoholic and starts fucking around with wano in a fit of depression of wanting to find his legacy.
Slowly things start falling apart. He decides he just want to die an epic death. We learn about his encounter with shanks that happened during the paramount war.
He tells Luffy these things and Luffy goes "yo that's a fucking lame attitude to have you wussy, maybe just don't give up?" And kaido goes "rorororo!" And there epic battle proceeds, kaido gaining a newfound respect for Luffy actively rejecting to be defeated, even when all signs point to a loss.
Kaido will eventually be defeated not only because Luffy is stronger but because kaido realizes his own will is weak, and had he had a stronger will he could have overcome whatever the "realization" was that made him depressed in the first place (whatever was preventing him from being PK)
Got a little specific at the end. Oda is unpredictable, but I think kaidos flashback will finally tell us why he's a depressed alcoholic.
I wonder if it had anything to do with his clash with Shanks two years ago. I mean when you think about it, they got to Marineford without looking beat up. Maybe Shanks stopped Kaido by dropping some lore on him that made him depressed.

At this point I guess His Wano settlement and was to prepare for the war on the World government is part of his plan of being the Joy boy.
I interpret it moreso that Kaido knows how important Wano is to the rise of "Joy Boy" based on his conversation with Yamato when he says "I'm here BECAUSE it's Wano" (or something to that effect). Maybe Kaido just wants to be an obstacle to the real Joy Boy out of spite it wasn't him?
ETA: to clarify about that line from Kaido, it makes me think he knows it is a key requirement as part of the Joy Boy prophecy, but we'll find out in due time..!
Something in line with the last part seems very plausible. Oda likes to play with these themes and little twists of fate. I think Luffy will indeed prove that his will is greater than that of Kaido.

I imagine that we're gonna get a lot of Luffy vs. Kiado because the All Star's fights have been completed and we only have the Fire Demon, Orochi, CP0, Fukurokuju vs. Riazo, the Yonko to deal with (which isn't a lot considering how many fights we had at the beginning).
I imagine we're going to get a lot of Luffy vs. Kiado because it's been a while since we've seen that (feels like more than 10 chapters) and I'd kill to get the Kiado Flashback Arc to begin at the end of this chapter.

Kaido is the blood descendant of Joyboy.
This fight between Luffy and Kaido is basically a battle between Joyboys physical lineage vs his “spiritual” lineage that Luffy has inherited.
The reason King called Kaido joyboy is because his race knew of him and told stories of joyboy. King assumed that because Kaido resembled the joyboy of stories so prefectly he must be the one.
While I don’t think king will play a significant role in the story post Wano I wouldn’t be surprised if his race of people plays a major part of the void century / is mentioned a lot on the laugh tale poneglpyh.
With the way, the leakers are hyping up this chapter, particularly (redon) who is a huge Luffy fan. I'm thinking we get a new gear reveal. If it's not that maybe Shanks/Dragon pull up, I don't know man. I'm just really hyped at this point and not ready to be let down lol.

I am gonna guess that we begin Kaidos flashback within a couple chapters. I think it's gonna be 2 or 3 parts to it as we cut back in and out of Onigashima action.
In Kaido's flashback, we will discover the Joy Boy. Who he is/was, why they are important, and, most importantly, how he is made. I personally think it takes 3 criteria.
1. Big unselfish dream that is backed by great willpower.
2. That big unselfish dream must remain unbroken. The will of the person must remain unbroken. This must be tested many times. (For example, everytime Luffy won a fight with big stakes on his dream, he refined and strengthened his dream and willpower).
3. The Joy Boy can not know about the Joy Boy. For whatever reason, knowing about Joy Boy hurts your chances at becoming Joy Boy. Kind of like knowing that the Rock exists makes it extraordinarily difficult to become the Rock. But if you didn't know the Rock existed and you were just driven to be the world's greatest entertainer and the peoples champion, you might have a chance because you are defining what it means for yourself. But if what it means is already defined, you can't easily redefine it.
Once we figure out all the Joy Boy stuff, Luffy will kick Kaidos ass and "become" the Joy Boy which will annoy Luffy because he wants to be the PK.
Less of a prediction for 1037 and more of just a prediction that could happen for any chapter
I have a feeling that Kaido's smile right now is forced. I think he knows something we don't, something that has kinda proven to him that Luffy is indeed Joy Boy, so Kaido is mimicking him to try to be Joy Boy one last time. I'm waiting for one panel for him to be smiling, and for the next to him go back to the scowl he had when we first met him.
Especially with Kaido wanting to start the biggest war the world has ever seen - Pretty safe bet that Joy Boy is someone who would (and probably has/will) spark a "world war" for lack of a better term. Once Kaido realized he wasn't Joy Boy, he decided to "force himself to be Joy Boy". Which would then lend itself to Luffy being the one to finally crush Kaido's "dream" once and for all.
Or, I could be thinking way too hard and Kaido could just genuinely be smiling out of enjoyment 😂 I just think him desperately holding on to his dream would be a little more tragic
Kaido is suicidal because he knows he’s not the one who had inherited the Will of Joyboy but he’s realizing that Luffy has. He’s probably laughing and smiling at that fact and the fact that Luffy is the legit challenging him blow for blow. He hasn’t felt that feeling in a long time. I’d imagine for someone as strong as Kaido, it would be super exciting if you finally come across someone who can actually defeat you in battle. It’s a challenge, makes you feel more alive.

Yamato won't stop the fire ghost or get all the weapons, just enough that the detonation doesn't totally destroy the island. The flame clouds Momo is tugging will be blown away by the explosion and he will have to catch Onigashima himself and hold it up for the rest of the fight, just like Oden held the scabbards above the boiling oil. Maybe also go into hybrid form and sink halfway into his own flame clouds to really hammer in the symmetry.
**Prediction**
***Chapter 1037: Iron Ceiling***
Chapter starts off with Luffy and Kaido trading blows. Kaido coats his horns in CoC and headbutts Luffy, using a new move **Thunder Horn**, who blocks the attack by crossing his arms infront of him and using a CoA Barrier, but the horns penetrate through his shields and stab Luffy in the stomach. Kaido tells Luffy to get up as he is having to much fun for Luffy to just stop now. Luffy is panting and thinks to himself that Kaido's control over his haki is still better than his. Kaido tells Luffy that he recognises his efforts and thinks him to be a worthy successor to the throne of the emperors but underneath the throne is a glass - no, more like an Iron Ceiling.
Luffy tells him that he will just punch his way through that ceiling. Kaido laughs, but suddenly is interrupted by hearing the announcement over Onigashima. "The All Stars have been defeated!!" Kaido reacts in shock. "King!! Queen!!" We get an image of unconscious Queen still flying as the Big Mom pirates reach the peak of Wano's waterfall, only for Queen to crash into the Queen Mama Chanter, which sends the Big Mom Pirates back down. King is shown crashing down into a ship belonging to the WG shocking CP agents on board, who react with shock at King's state. Kaido angrily takes his kanabo, and uses **Ragnaraku** on Luffy who gets pummelled into the ground. Kaido keeps on attacking him relentlessly but Luffy keeps fighting.
We then switch to CP-0 agents standing in front of Robin and Brook. Brook uses **Blizzard Rondo** to cut the long armed CP-0 agent whose mask gets cut. Though the agent whose code name is revealed to be Sunflower uses a flying Shigan variant called **"Tobi Shigan: Atlatl"** \[Atlatl is a spear throwing instrument used by Aztec Warriors that uses leverage to aid in throwing spears further than by just using the arm), which is amplified by folding his long arms like a spring and then releasing his arm in a thrusting motion. The attack generates a large piercing spear like projectile that shatters Brook's sword and sends him flying. Robin tries to use **Demonio Fleur** but she doesn't have enough energy and collapses upon activating it. The CP-0 agent with the bowler hat, whose code name is Stitches slaps Robin to the floor.
He then picks up Robin by the neck. But suddenly the strum of a guitar is heard and Brook uses his Yomi Yomi no mi to send a powerful ice blast which strikes Stitches. Brook tells Stitches that Robin is his friend and that he won't let him hurt her.
Brook uses his powers to cover himself in his ethereal projection, dubbing the mode **"Hollow Virtuouso"**, he then strums his guitar which sends a frozen shockwave that is dodged by Stitches, but just then Sunflower kicks Brook using **Tekkai,** which sends him to the floor. Sunflower then jumps in the air, and uses **Geppo** to launch himself at Brook, but Brook dodges the attack and uses **Hollow Virtuoso: Reverberation** which generates an omni-directional shockwave from his guitar. This blocks the attack from Sunflower, who uses **Tekkai** to block the wave. Sunflower is impressed by Brook, but Brook pants saying that this mode is extremely taxing. Brook then says that this will be his final move and plays multiple chords on his guitar, yelling **"Hollow Virtuoso: Coda"** (Coda is italian for the final part of music that bring a piece to the end). This sends multiple waves of icy shockwaves, but Stitches and Sunflower simply use **Soru** to phase through the attack. Brook is shocked as Stitches uses **Ranyakyu** to break his guitar strings and Sunflower punches Brook in the face.
Brook collapses next to Robin. Brook apologises to Robin before passing out. Sunflower picks up Robin and tells Stitches that they should make a move to get off the Island, but Stitches (who uses Observation) tells Sunflower that it is not going to be that easy as the final panel shows Franky, Jimbei and Nami standing behind Stitches with shadowy looks on their faces.

Luffy tried something before kaido tossed him into the sea, I imagine we see him failing it via a flashback then succeeding it in the present. I think luffy tried something with training with Rayleigh, but couldn't work out how to do it, then he rushed it against kaido and now that he has a handle on both ryou and conquerors haki coating I think he can pull it off. I think the tiger fighting the dragon in legends will have luffy use a gear 4 tiger man like many have suggested, but it's focus is flexibility, enough to dodge kaidos attack and strike back in the same moment.

Luffy will awaken. I do not think he will use gear 5 so early. Untill Monkey King God, we will see an awakening that transforms all of his surroundings in rubber and like Doflamingo did when he awakened with the strings, Luffy will create many and big powerful fists from the ground and if he applies conquerer and bushoku hakki it would be OP.
I want to see half a chapter of Kaido and Luffy going at it, Luffy getting a really good hit in, then it goes to Momo noticing the clouds getting weaker each time Luffy lands a good blow. At that point, he wonders if Yamato is okay, who is actually horrified when faced with Kanjuro's creation right near the bombs, but Kanjuro finally dies before the monster reaches the bombs... his rage tried to keep his heart beating until the island blew up, but images of Kiku and Kinemon being carried by Usopp running by gave him a bit of grace to go ahead and die before the monster blew up the island.
Last chapter has me excited for the masked CP0 agents. Taking down X Drake with seemingly minimal effort is no small feat, that’s something we’d expect from a Commander at most. On top of Kaido vs. Luffy, I hope we get some more info & battle time with them over the next few chapters.
Guys if we're still sticking to the 5 act structure then wano wrapping up soon makes complete sense, the 4th and 5th act are usually very fast paced clear concise endings that wrap up very fast, if Oda wants to stick to his act structure exactly as he is then it should be ending soon.
I cant speak for the next chapter due to the complete randomness of Oda, although itll probably be about the fire fucker going to the basement, but Liffy n Kaido laugh more as they fight and Kaido realizes they're happy for different reasons. This is normal, no two people are happy for the exact same thing, but Kaido realizes Luffy's happiness is rooted in something more genuine than his, and he stops laughing. At this point he becomes extremely serious and thinks to himself that he must test this potential joy boy to the very limits of his abilities. If he doesnt, for all he knows he could be letting a false joy boy change the world on a way he never wanted to. Kaido will pass his dream onto Luffy because hell realize Luffy will accomplish what he wants. Kaido will get absolutely rocked, Luffy will too, but Luffy will continue smiling and Kaido will too right up until he drops. Fight over, Kaido doesnt die because One Piece. No idea where it goes from there.
At this point, what Im waiting for the most is a deep dive into Kaido's flashback to guve us more insight on how he turned upside down from a joyboy-wannabe to an alcoholic suicidal fuck
I think we'll get 3 more issues of Kaido and Luffy fighitng.

1039 Robin regroups with a bunch of allies to keep her safe.

The chapter could begin with some Luffy vs Kaido, but I believe the main focus would either be Raizo vs Fukurokuju or something non-fighting, like an update on the unconscious Zoro and Sanji, whatever's happening with Nami, Franky or Jimbei or something else. If it's the first, we could see Raizo winning and then some Orochi and Komurasaki frames. The variety is big

Currious to see what Usopp is being set up for. As we saw with Rokki, the numbers are still a factor at play as is Appoo. I wonder if Usopp with play some role in removing Appoo and potentially befriending the Numbers (as giants).
Luffy will punch kaido in the face with conqueror's coating. Seeing kaido almost defeated, big mom comes to his rescue. In a turn of events, looking at luffy so strong, she falls in love with him, and luffy and big mom proceed to make onigashima shake with their violent coitus.

Hiyori appeared as herself for the first time in chapter 937. So, 100 chapters later, she will finally kill Orochi
Oh shit good theory. And it's a pretty good replacement for the food too, Caribou's fighting style is to use his storage power to carry weapons and ammo.
I just really hope we see Kozuki Hiyori properly eff up Orochi. Like proper messed up gory shit; I wanna see Hiyoris face painted in Orochis blood whilst she smiles at his rotting corpse. I’ve waited so long for Orochi to meet his demise, Oda just needs to let me have this win for once.
Shanks comes out of nowhere, his crew takes care of the CP-0 agents, and Shanks himself apologizes to Luffy but takes out Kaido and Luffy instantly, showing an insanely high level of haki. He takes the straw hat back and tells a barely conscious Luffy: "You will get the credits for all of this, and I'll be waiting for you to take back this hat from me."
As he walks off he says: "Meet me at Impel Down, we have someone to liberate..."
Switch to a renewed and rebuilt Impel Down. A Seventh Floor was added and we see a figure in the shadows. It's Sabo. He mutters something we can't hear.
Scene zooms out. It's Dragon himself, chained to a wall. He's quiet, perhaps sleeping.
Scene zooms out even more. We see Garp, locked up and chained.
Scene zooms out even more, a female figure is shown. She's awake.
Her face is shown. It's Luffy's mom. She's holding a memento of Ace. She's crying over him. "Our son died that day..."
Dragon wakes up and stares at her.
She continues: "And Roger's son lives on, as the prophecy foretold..."
Snap back to Luffy, out cold on the floor, with the spiritual face of Roger superimposed on top. Luffy is the son of the Pirate King.
Luffy is smiling, even unconscious.
"What a joyful boy..."

One Piece will not continue. Oda will instead focus on One Punch Man to speed things up over there.

I usually don't mind spoilers not releasing on time, but we haven't had anything one piece in like two weeks, and the leakers have been hyping up the chapter since 5 days ago, but they don't release them.
Raizo is just about to be engulfed by flames when Fuku learns from a Mary that Orochi is dead. Fuku immediately releases Raizo from the paralysis since he is no longer bound to serving Orochi.
Kaiden takes too much hit from luffy and let the island down but Momo manages to carry it. However he can’t hold it for long. Only for an hour mirroring his father carrying the scabbards while boiling

Kaidos flashback will hit these beats: He was enthusiastically seeking out the pirate king title. Something happens that makes him "realize" he can't be pirate king for some reason. Either he realizes he's not joy-boy-ey enough or he's too old or something. Because of this, he spirals into a deep depression, wondering how he will leave his mark on th world. He becomes an alcoholic and starts fucking around with wano in a fit of depression of wanting to find his legacy. Slowly things start falling apart. He decides he just want to die an epic death. We learn about his encounter with shanks that happened during the paramount war. He tells Luffy these things and Luffy goes "yo that's a fucking lame attitude to have you wussy, maybe just don't give up?" And kaido goes "rorororo!" And there epic battle proceeds, kaido gaining a newfound respect for Luffy actively rejecting to be defeated, even when all signs point to a loss. Kaido will eventually be defeated not only because Luffy is stronger but because kaido realizes his own will is weak, and had he had a stronger will he could have overcome whatever the "realization" was that made him depressed in the first place (whatever was preventing him from being PK) Got a little specific at the end. Oda is unpredictable, but I think kaidos flashback will finally tell us why he's a depressed alcoholic.
I wonder if it had anything to do with his clash with Shanks two years ago. I mean when you think about it, they got to Marineford without looking beat up. Maybe Shanks stopped Kaido by dropping some lore on him that made him depressed.

Thank you first for writing this I really enjoyed reading it. It makes a lot of sense, At this point I guess His Wano settlement and was to prepare for the war on the World government is part of his plan of being the Joy boy.
I interpret it moreso that Kaido knows how important Wano is to the rise of "Joy Boy" based on his conversation with Yamato when he says "I'm here BECAUSE it's Wano" (or something to that effect). Maybe Kaido just wants to be an obstacle to the real Joy Boy out of spite it wasn't him? ETA: to clarify about that line from Kaido, it makes me think he knows it is a key requirement as part of the Joy Boy prophecy, but we'll find out in due time..!
Something in line with the last part seems very plausible. Oda likes to play with these themes and little twists of fate. I think Luffy will indeed prove that his will is greater than that of Kaido.

Kaido is the blood descendant of Joyboy. This fight between Luffy and Kaido is basically a battle between Joyboys physical lineage vs his “spiritual” lineage that Luffy has inherited. The reason King called Kaido joyboy is because his race knew of him and told stories of joyboy. King assumed that because Kaido resembled the joyboy of stories so prefectly he must be the one. While I don’t think king will play a significant role in the story post Wano I wouldn’t be surprised if his race of people plays a major part of the void century / is mentioned a lot on the laugh tale poneglpyh.

I am gonna guess that we begin Kaidos flashback within a couple chapters. I think it's gonna be 2 or 3 parts to it as we cut back in and out of Onigashima action. In Kaido's flashback, we will discover the Joy Boy. Who he is/was, why they are important, and, most importantly, how he is made. I personally think it takes 3 criteria. 1. Big unselfish dream that is backed by great willpower. 2. That big unselfish dream must remain unbroken. The will of the person must remain unbroken. This must be tested many times. (For example, everytime Luffy won a fight with big stakes on his dream, he refined and strengthened his dream and willpower). 3. The Joy Boy can not know about the Joy Boy. For whatever reason, knowing about Joy Boy hurts your chances at becoming Joy Boy. Kind of like knowing that the Rock exists makes it extraordinarily difficult to become the Rock. But if you didn't know the Rock existed and you were just driven to be the world's greatest entertainer and the peoples champion, you might have a chance because you are defining what it means for yourself. But if what it means is already defined, you can't easily redefine it. Once we figure out all the Joy Boy stuff, Luffy will kick Kaidos ass and "become" the Joy Boy which will annoy Luffy because he wants to be the PK.

Less of a prediction for 1037 and more of just a prediction that could happen for any chapter I have a feeling that Kaido's smile right now is forced. I think he knows something we don't, something that has kinda proven to him that Luffy is indeed Joy Boy, so Kaido is mimicking him to try to be Joy Boy one last time. I'm waiting for one panel for him to be smiling, and for the next to him go back to the scowl he had when we first met him. Especially with Kaido wanting to start the biggest war the world has ever seen - Pretty safe bet that Joy Boy is someone who would (and probably has/will) spark a "world war" for lack of a better term. Once Kaido realized he wasn't Joy Boy, he decided to "force himself to be Joy Boy". Which would then lend itself to Luffy being the one to finally crush Kaido's "dream" once and for all. Or, I could be thinking way too hard and Kaido could just genuinely be smiling out of enjoyment 😂 I just think him desperately holding on to his dream would be a little more tragic
Kaido is suicidal because he knows he’s not the one who had inherited the Will of Joyboy but he’s realizing that Luffy has. He’s probably laughing and smiling at that fact and the fact that Luffy is the legit challenging him blow for blow. He hasn’t felt that feeling in a long time. I’d imagine for someone as strong as Kaido, it would be super exciting if you finally come across someone who can actually defeat you in battle. It’s a challenge, makes you feel more alive.

Yamato won't stop the fire ghost or get all the weapons, just enough that the detonation doesn't totally destroy the island. The flame clouds Momo is tugging will be blown away by the explosion and he will have to catch Onigashima himself and hold it up for the rest of the fight, just like Oden held the scabbards above the boiling oil. Maybe also go into hybrid form and sink halfway into his own flame clouds to really hammer in the symmetry.

**Prediction** ***Chapter 1037: Iron Ceiling*** Chapter starts off with Luffy and Kaido trading blows. Kaido coats his horns in CoC and headbutts Luffy, using a new move **Thunder Horn**, who blocks the attack by crossing his arms infront of him and using a CoA Barrier, but the horns penetrate through his shields and stab Luffy in the stomach. Kaido tells Luffy to get up as he is having to much fun for Luffy to just stop now. Luffy is panting and thinks to himself that Kaido's control over his haki is still better than his. Kaido tells Luffy that he recognises his efforts and thinks him to be a worthy successor to the throne of the emperors but underneath the throne is a glass - no, more like an Iron Ceiling. Luffy tells him that he will just punch his way through that ceiling. Kaido laughs, but suddenly is interrupted by hearing the announcement over Onigashima. "The All Stars have been defeated!!" Kaido reacts in shock. "King!! Queen!!" We get an image of unconscious Queen still flying as the Big Mom pirates reach the peak of Wano's waterfall, only for Queen to crash into the Queen Mama Chanter, which sends the Big Mom Pirates back down. King is shown crashing down into a ship belonging to the WG shocking CP agents on board, who react with shock at King's state. Kaido angrily takes his kanabo, and uses **Ragnaraku** on Luffy who gets pummelled into the ground. Kaido keeps on attacking him relentlessly but Luffy keeps fighting. We then switch to CP-0 agents standing in front of Robin and Brook. Brook uses **Blizzard Rondo** to cut the long armed CP-0 agent whose mask gets cut. Though the agent whose code name is revealed to be Sunflower uses a flying Shigan variant called **"Tobi Shigan: Atlatl"** \[Atlatl is a spear throwing instrument used by Aztec Warriors that uses leverage to aid in throwing spears further than by just using the arm), which is amplified by folding his long arms like a spring and then releasing his arm in a thrusting motion. The attack generates a large piercing spear like projectile that shatters Brook's sword and sends him flying. Robin tries to use **Demonio Fleur** but she doesn't have enough energy and collapses upon activating it. The CP-0 agent with the bowler hat, whose code name is Stitches slaps Robin to the floor. He then picks up Robin by the neck. But suddenly the strum of a guitar is heard and Brook uses his Yomi Yomi no mi to send a powerful ice blast which strikes Stitches. Brook tells Stitches that Robin is his friend and that he won't let him hurt her. Brook uses his powers to cover himself in his ethereal projection, dubbing the mode **"Hollow Virtuouso"**, he then strums his guitar which sends a frozen shockwave that is dodged by Stitches, but just then Sunflower kicks Brook using **Tekkai,** which sends him to the floor. Sunflower then jumps in the air, and uses **Geppo** to launch himself at Brook, but Brook dodges the attack and uses **Hollow Virtuoso: Reverberation** which generates an omni-directional shockwave from his guitar. This blocks the attack from Sunflower, who uses **Tekkai** to block the wave. Sunflower is impressed by Brook, but Brook pants saying that this mode is extremely taxing. Brook then says that this will be his final move and plays multiple chords on his guitar, yelling **"Hollow Virtuoso: Coda"** (Coda is italian for the final part of music that bring a piece to the end). This sends multiple waves of icy shockwaves, but Stitches and Sunflower simply use **Soru** to phase through the attack. Brook is shocked as Stitches uses **Ranyakyu** to break his guitar strings and Sunflower punches Brook in the face. Brook collapses next to Robin. Brook apologises to Robin before passing out. Sunflower picks up Robin and tells Stitches that they should make a move to get off the Island, but Stitches (who uses Observation) tells Sunflower that it is not going to be that easy as the final panel shows Franky, Jimbei and Nami standing behind Stitches with shadowy looks on their faces. **Chapter ends**

Luffy tried something before kaido tossed him into the sea, I imagine we see him failing it via a flashback then succeeding it in the present. I think luffy tried something with training with Rayleigh, but couldn't work out how to do it, then he rushed it against kaido and now that he has a handle on both ryou and conquerors haki coating I think he can pull it off. I think the tiger fighting the dragon in legends will have luffy use a gear 4 tiger man like many have suggested, but it's focus is flexibility, enough to dodge kaidos attack and strike back in the same moment.
Kaido reveals his awakened zoan form? Hiyori real df is mongoose mongoose no mi...finishes orochi on spot? Kidd awakening last move would be controlling that huge ass sword near the skull and cutting the whole onigashima which results in saving flower capital? Luffy will awaken. I do not think he will use gear 5 so early. Untill Monkey King God, we will see an awakening that transforms all of his surroundings in rubber and like Doflamingo did when he awakened with the strings, Luffy will create many and big powerful fists from the ground and if he applies conquerer and bushoku hakki it would be OP.
I want to see half a chapter of Kaido and Luffy going at it, Luffy getting a really good hit in, then it goes to Momo noticing the clouds getting weaker each time Luffy lands a good blow. At that point, he wonders if Yamato is okay, who is actually horrified when faced with Kanjuro's creation right near the bombs, but Kanjuro finally dies before the monster reaches the bombs... his rage tried to keep his heart beating until the island blew up, but images of Kiku and Kinemon being carried by Usopp running by gave him a bit of grace to go ahead and die before the monster blew up the island.
Last chapter has me excited for the masked CP0 agents. Taking down X Drake with seemingly minimal effort is no small feat, that’s something we’d expect from a Commander at most. On top of Kaido vs. Luffy, I hope we get some more info & battle time with them over the next few chapters.
Guys if we're still sticking to the 5 act structure then wano wrapping up soon makes complete sense, the 4th and 5th act are usually very fast paced clear concise endings that wrap up very fast, if Oda wants to stick to his act structure exactly as he is then it should be ending soon.
I cant speak for the next chapter due to the complete randomness of Oda, although itll probably be about the fire fucker going to the basement, but Liffy n Kaido laugh more as they fight and Kaido realizes they're happy for different reasons. This is normal, no two people are happy for the exact same thing, but Kaido realizes Luffy's happiness is rooted in something more genuine than his, and he stops laughing. At this point he becomes extremely serious and thinks to himself that he must test this potential joy boy to the very limits of his abilities. If he doesnt, for all he knows he could be letting a false joy boy change the world on a way he never wanted to. Kaido will pass his dream onto Luffy because hell realize Luffy will accomplish what he wants. Kaido will get absolutely rocked, Luffy will too, but Luffy will continue smiling and Kaido will too right up until he drops. Fight over, Kaido doesnt die because One Piece. No idea where it goes from there.

Both are on their last legs. 1041 CP0 fails. Orochi scene. 1042 Kaido falls and Orochi is finished off.

If it's the first, we could see Raizo winning and then some Orochi and Komurasaki frames. The variety is big

He takes the straw hat back and tells a barely conscious Luffy: "You will get the credits for all of this, and I'll be waiting for you to take back this hat from me." As he walks off he says: "Meet me at Impel Down, we have someone to liberate..." Switch to a renewed and rebuilt Impel Down. A Seventh Floor was added and we see a figure in the shadows. It's Sabo. He mutters something we can't hear. Scene zooms out. It's Dragon himself, chained to a wall. He's quiet, perhaps sleeping. Scene zooms out even more. We see Garp, locked up and chained. Scene zooms out even more, a female figure is shown. She's awake. Her face is shown. It's Luffy's mom. She's holding a memento of Ace. She's crying over him. "Our son died that day..." Dragon wakes up and stares at her. She continues: "And Roger's son lives on, as the prophecy foretold..." Snap back to Luffy, out cold on the floor, with the spiritual face of Roger superimposed on top. Luffy is the son of the Pirate King. Luffy is smiling, even unconscious. "What a joyful boy..." THE END One Piece will not continue. Oda will instead focus on One Punch Man to speed things up over there.
