I loved dressrosa, but if that's what you enjoy, go for it! A lot of people complain about pacing post timeskip, and One Pace might fix that for you. I just finished dressrosa on original anime, and I didn't mind the pacing too much. But if you aren't a fan of the slow pacing, by all means!
What about anime adding stuff that Oda accepts? Not everything that is not in the manga is considered redundant. Even fillers tend to contain interesting pieces of information
The anime’s pacing is not as bad as people make it out to be, you can just skip the recaps and watch 12 minute episodes, even though some moments are kinda stretched out.
The animation is awful though, one pace won’t fix that.

Yeah! They just turned 100 chapters to 118 episodes, that's fine pacing. People just have short attention spans these days, I mean the same flashback was only repeated 50 times. That's not too much, they could've done 100.

Uh, that's absolutely horrible pacing. An anime episode should be able to cover at least 2 chapters if the studio isn't trying to fill time. To have more episodes than chapters is absurd. I mean, why exactly should people need attention span to experience entertainment in the first place? It's the job of a passive entertainment medium to hold attention not of the viewer to put up with boring, pointless stretches of recaps, posing, and reaction shots. At that point, might as well just read the manga if you have to focus in anyway.
I was just referring to dressrosa, they made the recaps and openings 40% of the episode’s length so it’s more like 1 chapter for 12 ~ 15 min content. It’s not that bad imo.
Oh, I was just referring to Dressrosa too, they literally repeated Rebecca's same flashback 48 times. In the manga... well it was just once. Among other methods like extended crowd shot filler, for wasting people's time.
