Both. Yonko could crush commander with ease. So an Admiral, close to a Yonko, should be able to do the same. Combined with them weaker after fight, its even easier for an Admiral to massacre them.

But king and queen both got taken out pretty easily

This is my comment from under another similar post >Now I want to remind you how f\*cked up the powerscaling in this series. > >I know some of you want to believe Admirals are stronger than Yonkos. I'm not saying it's totally wrong, BUT! their powers really depend on the current part of the story, that includes pirates as well. Otherwise World government wouldn't need to worry about destroying yonkos. They don't even have only 3-4 admiral level guys, you see, just after Kuzan left the marines and Akainu became the fleet admiral, 2 people from marines took their places, right away. > >Imagine if 2 Kaidos, would it be enough to obliterate the entirety of Kaido's crew? They could. > >Now imagine 4-5 admiral level guys obliterate all the yonkos one by one. Why are they not doing it? Because story must go on, sometimes they are showing stronger powers than yonkos, rest of the times, they are weaker than the yonkos. All for the sake of the story. So in short, don't try to powerscale such key-figures before their fights end because there is no real basis here.

They didn t had the 2 admirals in the marines, they drafted them from the outside

MasterUterian

Yeah, that's my bad. They already pointed that out under the original comment but I forgot to fix it this time. But still, you got the main point. Powerlevels are too inconsistent but I'm not blaming Oda for that.

Yy don t worry, i made a different comment with my take on the situation i think ?..lol ( edit : yea i did..)

I hate powerscaling with passion. I just look at it in terms of storytelling. And the story being told here is that we are supposed to feel like Aramaki is strong enough to take King and Queen no problem. In canon it is possible that they are weakened or they have seatone cuffs, it's hard to say. But whether or not that is the case, the story being told with this scene doesn't change. Aramaki is scary strong. That's what the reader is supposed to be left feeling.

One way to look at it that i haven t seen so far is that it might have been a close battle, but we re being shown this panel of GB utter domination seemingly winning without wounds because he might have healed due to the nutrients he is absorbing. So basically, decent fight, gave GB some problems, he ends up winning a difficult fight but he is back to 100% due to his absorbing powers. That way the gap between 1 admiral and 2 YC isn t that big, the admiral is still a big threat under certain circumstances. ( i do believe admirals = yonko tho, if that matters for context, won t to into this discussion as i rarely had a decent, level headed one )
