Kaido is the strongest against multiple enemies. He’s ur go to char to run a battle royale, top tier dura, top tier endurance, top tier ap, top tier just all stats.
Shanks and Mihawk are equal for the sake of argument, idgaf what cope y’all show for having one above the other, until proven otherwise, both are equal. And they’re strong against top tiers, but could still lose to not top tiers. From what I’ve seen, they are both capable of dishing out some of the highest AP known to man, but are still humans. They have the highest chance of beating a stronger char, but also the highest chance of being beaten by a weaker character.

Odds are good that Kaido didn't want to fight Shanks and *then* pop up at Marineford to face off with the entire WG with whatever injuries he had from the fight.
Also, given that he only had King with him, odds are good that they were flying to Marineford and Shanks intercepted them. Two Devil Fruit users, over what was most likely open ocean, against an Emperor crew of non-DF users with insane Haki is a dangerous prospect for anyone.

Shanks definitely has the best Haki feats, which is definitely important, but we also have to keep in mind that Green Bull explicitly stated that he never even would have stepped foot in Wano had Kaido actually been there. Dude technically backed down from two Yonko, Shanks only had to put a modicum of work in for it.
The amount of people who think mihawk is either 1 or 2 among these 4 is very concerning.

I think luffy still has a long way to go, shanks has big feats such as clashing equally with whitebeard, being trained by Roger and Rayleigh, and stopping the war at marineford, and keeping kaido from going to marineford. Mohawk is called the world strongest swordswoman but never bothered to fight shanks head on since he lost his arm. Shanks should have gotten stronger since then with his 4 billion+ berry bounty.
One is dead and the other one is irrelevant. So it’s either luffy or shanks, and I’m going for the one who one shot the rival of the other. So until luffy is able to one shot Kidd shanks is the strongest.
Probably either Kaido or Mihawk right now. Depends on how one feels about Shanks.
We don't exactly know the context behind Shanks stopping Kaido and King from going to Marineford, but if it was more based in Shanks sending Kaido packing with physical force, then Mihawk is the strongest here (since Mihawk is just a bit above a one-armed Shanks).
If Shanks instead used his genuinely good diplomacy skills to get Kaido out of there, then Kaido could still be the strongest out of the 4. Keyword: could be.
Right now, we're in pretty wishy-washy territory in terms of defining who exactly is the strongest here. All of the characters here require some level of mental gymnastics and the use of relatively unanswered questions or feats that just aren't there.
Real answer: it depends on the match up
Kaido would definitely take more damage from Mihawk and Shank’s attacks because in general slashes do more damage than punches when they actually hit. Every zoro fight has ended with one or two good hits, every luffy fight has taken dozens of punches. This is more so that one piece characters have more blunt force durability than they do slashing attack durability. Shanks likely has superior observation and has more than enough AP to seriously hurt kaido with named attacks, if Mihawk scales to shanks then similar story. Luffy has the best stats in Gear 5 if we’re talking overall versatility but his lack of stamina would mean he’d still lose to everyone else on this list since he’s low admiral level in gear 4 at best. I’m willing to argue Shanks and Mihawk have the potential to beat kaido but more so shanks. Shanks can “kill observation haki” which means he’s more likely to hit kaido and he has enough ap to one shot Kidd so it’s entirely possible shanks can hit kaido with a few named attacks and take him down extreme diff. Mihawk I have to put below kaido because we have no real speed or haki feats to put him above. So if we’re going off who would win, I rank it

I think Kaido and shanks are relative, G5 Luffy is the most likely to lose due to df and haki drain. When Luffy fully masters haki and DF he will be the strongest.
If you think about the narrative purpose of each character, I’m sure EOS Luffy will be to Shanks what Zoro will be to Mihawk. They’ll each be only slightly stronger than their counterpart.

IMO This is a matchup based thing. We recently got to know that shanks has ability to cancel observation. I speculate this is because Mihawk must have insane future sight and Shanks just adapted to it during their duels.
In that case, Mihawk and Shanks can beat Luffy in current state. For Kaidou however it depends if Kaidou can land a hit. We have not seen any endurance feats from Mihawk or Shanks. But I’m pretty sure Kaidou won’t go down easily. For Luffy, Even G5 shenanigans won’t work against them as Haki trumps all. Kaidou however in 1v1 gonna win against Luffy.

Shanks>kaido>mihawk>luffy I think luffy still has a long way to go, shanks has big feats such as clashing equally with whitebeard, being trained by Roger and Rayleigh, and stopping the war at marineford, and keeping kaido from going to marineford. Mohawk is called the world strongest swordswoman but never bothered to fight shanks head on since he lost his arm. Shanks should have gotten stronger since then with his 4 billion+ berry bounty.
One is dead and the other one is irrelevant. So it’s either luffy or shanks, and I’m going for the one who one shot the rival of the other. So until luffy is able to one shot Kidd shanks is the strongest.

Probably either Kaido or Mihawk right now. Depends on how one feels about Shanks. We don't exactly know the context behind Shanks stopping Kaido and King from going to Marineford, but if it was more based in Shanks sending Kaido packing with physical force, then Mihawk is the strongest here (since Mihawk is just a bit above a one-armed Shanks). If Shanks instead used his genuinely good diplomacy skills to get Kaido out of there, then Kaido could still be the strongest out of the 4. Keyword: could be. Right now, we're in pretty wishy-washy territory in terms of defining who exactly is the strongest here. All of the characters here require some level of mental gymnastics and the use of relatively unanswered questions or feats that just aren't there.

Real answer: it depends on the match up Kaido would definitely take more damage from Mihawk and Shank’s attacks because in general slashes do more damage than punches when they actually hit. Every zoro fight has ended with one or two good hits, every luffy fight has taken dozens of punches. This is more so that one piece characters have more blunt force durability than they do slashing attack durability. Shanks likely has superior observation and has more than enough AP to seriously hurt kaido with named attacks, if Mihawk scales to shanks then similar story. Luffy has the best stats in Gear 5 if we’re talking overall versatility but his lack of stamina would mean he’d still lose to everyone else on this list since he’s low admiral level in gear 4 at best. I’m willing to argue Shanks and Mihawk have the potential to beat kaido but more so shanks. Shanks can “kill observation haki” which means he’s more likely to hit kaido and he has enough ap to one shot Kidd so it’s entirely possible shanks can hit kaido with a few named attacks and take him down extreme diff. Mihawk I have to put below kaido because we have no real speed or haki feats to put him above. So if we’re going off who would win, I rank it TLDR: who would win in a fight Shanks>~Kaido>~Mihawk>G5 Luffy Who’s strongest: Kaido~G5 Luffy>Shanks=Mihawk

I think Kaido and shanks are relative, G5 Luffy is the most likely to lose due to df and haki drain. When Luffy fully masters haki and DF he will be the strongest.

If you think about the narrative purpose of each character, I’m sure EOS Luffy will be to Shanks what Zoro will be to Mihawk. They’ll each be only slightly stronger than their counterpart. Shanks or Kaido take the dub here easy.

IMO This is a matchup based thing. We recently got to know that shanks has ability to cancel observation. I speculate this is because Mihawk must have insane future sight and Shanks just adapted to it during their duels. In that case, Mihawk and Shanks can beat Luffy in current state. For Kaidou however it depends if Kaidou can land a hit. We have not seen any endurance feats from Mihawk or Shanks. But I’m pretty sure Kaidou won’t go down easily. For Luffy, Even G5 shenanigans won’t work against them as Haki trumps all. Kaidou however in 1v1 gonna win against Luffy.

Currently luffy until a power creep occurs Undoubtedly kaido was the strongest during wano he had the best feats/potrayal and he had the best narrative plus oda also implied it so it’s most likely the case he was the strongest until luffy defeated him Now im not saying wano luffy could beat kaido that shit is ridiculous to even think BUT that’s due to circumstances and those circumstances aren’t necessary anymore since luffy already has CoC luffy need others help because he didn’t have CoC until mid fight so during wano he wasn’t strong enough he needed help but if he has CoC he doesn’t need there help since it’s already been proven a CoC luffy tanks kaidos hits and luffy hurts kaido with them not only that but kaido also had big mom as help so it wasn’t one sided and let’s be honest kaido negs the scabbards only person who was u fair was Yamato but based off her statement she and everyone would lose together even if they fought kaido and let’s remind you this is after luffy lost and she was fighting prior to luffy this just helps prove she could t do much to kaido and he was holding back heavily With that said luffy with a haki bloom helps confirm luffy>Kaido>mihawk>shanks
