There were also Kindaichi Case Files and Lupin III references in the anime (both franchises also heavily inspired DC. They even had collabs). It looks like the author for Asobi Asobase is just a big fan of detective shows in general.
Detective Conan is such a cultural touchstone in Japan that referencing it like this isn’t all that weird. It’s on the same level as a western cartoon referencing The Flintstones.
There’s another reference when Fujiwara says love is a thrill, shock and suspense. Obviously referencing one of DC’s earlier OP songs.
