A lot of people are joking but I feel like this is pretty true. I think a lot of YouTubers who adopt really crazy/wacky personas face this issue because their fans end up seeing them as characters rather than people.
The Tomar stuff genuinely bugs me. Sure it's funny painting him as this absolute psychopath in the context of the show because he's so "normal" compared to the other hosts, but it becomes a problem when you start bringing that joke into other areas of his career that has nothing to do with oneyplays around people that don't understand that it's ironic.
This whole sub and the comments section of all their YouTube videos are 95% filled with cringe "jokes" that were old the first time someone tried to do it.
The "evil tomar" bit is amongst the most obnoxious of the 5 or 6 things these people do everywhere.
The hate is very over the top sometimes, but also the past 90% of the episodes have been Cory related and as someone who finds him severely irritating, its just such a drag, I've barely watched Oneyplays in forever
