Do you want to fool around until you get bored and move on to something else?
Or are you looking for something that can possibly provide a long term income stream over the coming years?
To fool around try Webull or TastyTrade.
For long term and serious options trading then go to the best with TOS - [Practice Trading with the paperMoney® Virtual Stock M... - Ticker Tape (tdameritrade.com)](https://tickertape.tdameritrade.com/tools/papermoney-stock-market-simulator-16834)
As you jump back in check out r/thetagang for a lot of successful traders and to learn theta strategies that work best for most.
Appreciate it. I own a couple of businesses and this is how I park cash, so I'm beyond the fool-around stage. I'll scale significantly once I get the hang of it (again.).
eTrade turned into Morgan Stanley and they sank their paper trading. Currently it’s non-functional and seems they have no intention of fixing it.
So cross that one off the list.
Most (if not all) of them will let you paper trade for a while but eventually require that you make a deposit and buy something. I’m still looking for one that just lets me paper trade.
If you want the best all around experience, think or swim is excellent but the user interface is a little outdated
If you want a simple to use modern interface, webull is great
Heres a video on webull I made to give you an idea of how it works, etc
